Charming, light-filled 1938 bungalow, surrounded by tropical gardens, steps to Sunshine Beach. Offering both original detail and current amenity, this one-of-a-kind bungalow experience is located on Treasure Island near John's Pass in St Petersburg Florida. Situated on the gulf side of Gulf Boulevard, it makes for a most relaxing and convenient beach experience, all day and every day. No need to cross a busy intersection to reach the white sand and waves, just step out your back door to two conveniently located boardwalks, one on either side.

Listen to the crash of the waves while relaxing on a private deck area with tropical surroundings after a day in the water and sun. Plenty of seating and a gas grill for entertaining. The deck overlooks a privately fenced lawn area with colorful hibiscus and a variety of palm trees (including Coconuts, Fox Tails, Christmas and Areca). This one bedroom, one bath Bungalow sleeps 6 with two pullouts in an oversized, light-filled living area. The kitchen is fully stocked for convenience and use of beach gear (chairs, umbrellas, toys, etc.) are available during your stay.

Beautiful, cozy home

The home was just as described. Maybe 100 yards from the beach and very well maintained. Ken was helpful and responsive with the couple of questions I had and we would definitely stay there again. Best place we have stayed in the Tampa Bay area

The pink house

A very lovely house by the beach, just few steps. Great location, we were looking for a small cosy house, to do some sport, healthy food and just relax, it suited us perfectly and we are very picky people :) highly recommend by us

Absolutely perfect

This cottage is the perfect location. Just a few steps to the beach and a short walk the bridge to Johns Pass. The house was clean and had everything we needed. And very dog friendly with the fenced in yard.

Was very nice to be so close to the beach with a yard for the dog! Some houses around are still recovering but this place was good. Very nice relaxing place!

My spouse and I, along with our two small fur babies, had the pleasure of staying here for an entire week and we loved it! Ken is an amazing host, easy to get up with and communicate with. I would recommend this little gem to anyone looking to stay in the area!

Hidden Gem

This property is truly a hidden gem. It is a lovely bungalow and is very clean. The proximity to the beach is awesome. It really is like a 2 minute walk. We would definitely stay again!

Wonderful

Everything was wonderful. The house was nice and clean and in a nice quiet neighborhood and very very close to the beach. No complaints! we enjoyed sitting out on the front porch and the grass yard was perfect for the dogs. We walked down the main road down to the Residence Inn where the cement board walk starts along the beach, so we walked the dogs there every morning, dogs are not allowed on the beach, but they are allowed on this one area of boardwalk. We did the 5 minute walk to Crabbys restaurant, which serves breakfast lunch and dinner and you can also walk over the bridge to Madeira Beach where there are tons of restaurants and shopping. So the location was perfect for us. We will definitely be back to this adorable pink house.

Sunshine Beach Bungalow

My husband and I stayed here along with our pup for three great nights. The property is wonderful!! The host was great! Communication was great….we only wished we stayed longer!!! It is a great property if you are traveling with a dog. The fenced in yard and patio are fantastic! We really enjoyed the area too…lots of things to walk to and restaurants were dog friendly too!! Hope to stay again!!!

Perfect for a family of 4

We had the best time visiting Kens home. He was very responsive, and the check in process was a breeze. The location is BEAUTIFUL. We took a fishing charter out of johns pass, and we could basically walk to our boat if we wanted too. The home had everything we needed, and we were very thankful for the extra kitchen amenities. We will be back, and have already recommended Kens home to our family and friends.

Perfect & relaxing

Just off the main road so easy access in and out. Far enough from the road to be quiet and restful on the deck. It was a short few steps to walkways to the beach. The house was wonderful, and perfect size for wife and I. Short walk to restaurants, and coffee!

Short but Sweet Stay

We had a five day layover as our RV was getting serviced so we decided to stay at the beautiful Pink Cottage by the beach. Easy access to everything... and it was pet friendly!

Perfect getaway

My husband and I stayed here for two short nights after Thanksgiving for my husband’s birthday. This was exactly the place we were looking for so we could relax and have some down time from our stressful careers. Two nights was not long enough, and we will definitely re-book again. The beach is beautiful, the community is beautiful, and the pink house is gorgeous! Ken is amazing and extremely accommodating. We could not have asked for better hospitality. We look forward to our next trip! Thank you again, Ken!!

Weekend Vist

Stayed with my 2 adult children and our small dog, had everything we needed. Charming house, quiet location, quick walk to very nice beach area, watched the sun set both nights. Kitchen had everything we needed, bedroom and futons were comfortable. Ken was great, very quick to respond. Would stay again and would recommend. Thanks for letting us visit!

Wonderful!

The host was easy to contact, friendly, and extremely helpful. The house was slightly dirty when we arrived (sand throughout the house, cups and things outside, and unclean couch covers), and he immediately sent the cleaning company to come take care of things. Wonderful home and very lovely host!

Adorable home by the beach

Such an adorable, well maintained and nicely decorated home. Very close to the beach access. It was clean and stocked with necessities. Being able to bring my dog on vacation means the world to me. My family thoroughly enjoyed staying there.

Perfect place for relaxation

This was a wonderful place to stay. It is in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood, just a few steps from the beach access, but within easy walking distance of some great bars and restaurants. There is plenty of parking space, but we didn't need a car as the Suncoast Trolley is so convenient to use and many attractions are in walking distance. The cottage is very well equipped, comfortable and clean. There are a lot of extras provided, such as beach towels and chairs, water bottles in the fridge and shampoo/body wash. We would love to stay here again.We saw dolphins, herons and pelicans on our walks everyday. The outside deck was our favorite place. Although the houses are close together it was very private. We would recommend it to other couples without hesitation. It is a very relaxing place but near to lots of fun things to do.

Everything I Imagined

I was so happy with the property and the property manager. He made our stay very pleasant and was very accessible The beach was just a short walk away and so beautiful. There is so much to do in the area. You won't be disappointed.

Perfect Getaway

Ken was an excellent host, quick and approachable with a few questions that we had. The bungalow was perfect for us and our dogs, just the right size inside with a beautiful deck where we spent the majority of our time there. The fenced in yard was a blessing so we didn't have to keep our furry friends on leads during our stay. The beach is literally across the street and over a beautiful boardwalk to sugary sands. We walked the beach up and under the drawbridge for a 7 min hike to great restaurants and shops at John's Pass without crossing traffic once. We will definitely be back and that is the place we will always search out. So lucky to have found it. The upgrades on this bungalow were tastefully done and we really could just move right in and never leave.
