2 Bdrm Black Canyon Chalet - Perfect Location, Amazing Views!

This Black Canyon Chalet (Licensed Estes Park #6013) 2 bedroom, 1 ½ bath condo provides all the comforts of home with a setting that defines Rocky Mountain National Park. Kitchen and main bath recently renovated, new carpet in 2021. The condo is nestled behind the Stanley Hotel overlooking the historic MacGregor Ranch in the Black Canyon Creek area of Estes Park. Lumpy Ridge borders the area offering dramatic views.

This property is just ¾ of a mile north of downtown Estes Park and gives you easy access to all the events in the area while providing the privacy to be fully immersed in the beauty of this mountain retreat. All of our visitors are struck by the amazing view from the deck but equally enjoy the care put into the comfort and cleanliness of this spacious condo.

The condo sleeps 4 adults. The master bedroom and upstairs loft bedroom have queen size beds. Please review pictures to see the layout of the rooms. A pack and play is available for little ones. The spacious deck will be one of your favorite places to barbecue, relax and watch the birds and wildlife in their natural habitat.

Amenities include: coffee maker, three flat panel TVs (YouTube TV), Gigabit wireless internet, hair dryer, fresh linens, plenty of cooking pans, basic spices for grilling. Webber grill, Start up supply of TP, paper towels provided.

Nearby Attractions... hiking trails, rock climbing, biking trails, horseback riding, rafting / kayaking, fishing, golf, tennis, and more. Check out the Estes Valley Community Center for group sports, swimming, and more.

Great place to stay!!

My wife and I spent our 5th year anniversary, with our 2 yr old, and we could not have asked for a better place to stay. Especially, since we got married just across the parking lot. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely stay, if available of course, again and again. We found the condo to be very nice, homey as well as close to everything in Estes Park. We were given great detailed information of the surroundings as well as what was needed and expected from us as tenants. Excellent.

Great place and location

Loved the property and location. Was near the park entrances and town but not in the middle of the noise. Was so quiet and the view out the living room window was unbelievable! It was the perfect size for three of us.

Beautiful mountain view in a cozy setting

We had a fantastic time at the Black Canyon Chalet. The location was perfect; the mountain view was breathtaking; and the condo was cozy and comfortable. The owners thought of everything to make it welcoming. We cooked one dinner in the well-stocked kitchen with food from the nearby Safeway. We also visited several excellent restaurants in the nearby town and attended a function at the Stanley Hotel, which was very close and convenient. I would highly recommend this condo and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Estes Park Wedding Weekend Trip

The property is situated in a great location, amazing views of mountains from the front facing windows truly capturing the essence of Colorado. The unit is clean, updated inside to give the convenience of modern living but still feeling like a cabin retreat. The two bedroom's and one and half bathrooms a main floor full bathroom shower are perfect for the size of the house. You are minutes from the downtown hustle yet you won’t know it from the location. It was great!

Beautiful views

We stayed for four nights and five days. I believe this unit has the best views of any unit there. Stunning. My wife and kids just loved the place. Our kids friends hung out on the deck several times enjoying the beauty of the area. Minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park.

Great View!

We had a wonderful stay at the Black Cannon Chalet in Estes Park. The location was fantastic, offering outstanding views that made our time there even more enjoyable. The chalet was clean and well-maintained, which added to the comfort of our stay. While there is no air conditioning, the condo cools down nicely at night, making it comfortable for sleeping. There was a slight musty smell initially, but it improved significantly once we opened the windows. One minor drawback was the lack of fans in the bathrooms, which made them a bit humid after showers. We appreciated the thoughtful touches like having coffee and some provisions provided—it made our mornings so much easier. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again. Feel free to adjust any part of this review if you need!

The Perfect Location!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The property was clean and exactly as described in the listing. The owners were so friendly and accommodating when we had to adjust our reservation unexpectedly a few months out from our trip. Mountain getaway

We enjoyed our stay at this nice, comfortable condo for our anniversary getaway. Beautiful views from the condo and close to RMNP and Estes Park proper. The owners were very helpful with recommendations in the area! We would definitely recommend!

Hiking trip

We really enjoyed staying at your condo. It was very clean and were very pleased with how well the kitchen was stocked and all the other amenities you provided. The location has a great view and was close enough to many different trails to hike. The only downfall was all the construction in town but we were able to work around that and it wasnt a big deal. We played golf at Estes Park Golf course and really enjoyed it. We would definitely consider staying here again or recommending it to friends. Thanks for letting us enjoy your place.

Jim (originally from upstate New York) loves the Colorado sunshine and enjoys keeping up with the latest IT technology, working in the yard, and walking our two dogs.

Jolene's dream was to have a vacation property in Estes Park. We live just over an hour from Estes, We love to hike, golf, bike, participate in the Estes Park festivities and relax on the deck taking in the beauty and nature that surrounds us.

The views are magnificent. Easy access to hiking and climbing trails. We are far enough from downtown Estes area that you'll feel secluded but with an easy 1 mile walk you can be downtown to immerse yourself in the latest festivals, tours, events, golfing and enjoying the great outdoors.

We reside near the Black Canyon Inn but are not affiliated with the resort. During the spring of 2019 the Inn is expanding and there will be construction nearby, we are assured that access to our property will not be impacted.
