No hot water in the kitchen. Waited several minutes. One shower for four people. Beautiful views but no ocean breeze. Found someone’s sock in the master bedroom, an empty toilet roll and a hand print on one of the sliding glass doors.

Lovely day is a lovely house

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 2nd time renting this property. Perfect for my small family. Comfortable beds and couches. Nice having a separate TV room, close to the trails, rec centers and Gualala.

We had a lovely stay at lovely day, and would absolutely return, it was the perfect size for our family of four. The only issue at all was that the front door can be tricky to open. This has apparently been an issue before (there were notes posted next to door) and should really be repaired, as we both struggled to enter and leave the house. Other than that, we had a great stay!

Sea Ranch getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: "A Lovely Day" is a beautiful, spacious home within a 15 minute walk to the coastal trail. We had a wonderful, relaxing 4 days here and would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a Sea Ranch getaway.

Beautiful Environment

We loved soaking in the hot tub and taking daily walks to the seal rookery, we even saw whales slapping their tails a highlight for us. Well appointed kitchen and the management company was gracious and helpful. We would come again.

Needed more time there

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beach Rentals are always efficient and helpful and I recommend them. We enjoyed walks to the beach, Mass at St. Mary Star of the Sea, dining at the Thai Restaurant and St. Orres, and just relaxing with the marvelous weather. We did drive to Mendocino and had a great visit there. We were not able to use the barbecue. We did appreciate the grab bars and the many hooks for jackets.

A Lovely Few Days, Indeed!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wow wow wow!! We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in Sea Ranch this past weekend. The home, including all the furniture and art, is GORGEOUS and well equipped with everything you and your family may need. We enjoyed cooking big meals, walking along the coastline, lounging on the deck and by the fireplace, hot tub stargazing and so much more. Also, the beds are all so comfortable and the views are stunning. We were sad to leave and hope to be back soon!! 100% recommend!!

Lovely Stay at Lovely Day

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Really loved this house. Modern amenities. Lots of light. Saw wonderful wildlife right outside the window. Comfortable seating areas and beds. Nice open kitchen/dining area. Loved the automated gas fireplace and the separate media room. Location of the house is close to Ohlson recreation center and Gualala. A downside was that it could have used more privacy blinds. We felt a bit exposed in the downstairs bathroom and upstairs master bedroom. The dishwasher also didn't work but we were credited for that during our stay. Overall, this house suited our small family well and we would rent here again.

Lovely Day lived up to its name— comfy beds, well-equipped kitchen, fun media room, ocean-views and a great location for bluff walks and beaches. Hope to stay there again next time we visit Sea Ranch.

The beds are comfortable, the kitchen well-equipped and spotless. The owners’ artwork is also great. We will come back soon.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are regular visitors to The Sea Ranch and have explored many options (as far as where to stay and which rental agency to use). Both Lovely Day and Beach Rentals are now at the top of our list. This house is a winner, particularly because it has two equally nice bedrooms - perfect for two couples, since there is no compromise needed. The kitchen is particularly good (even if some of the appliances are a bit complicated to use). Lovely Day has been recently upgraded and is in a great location.

Beautiful home

The location in the meadows is very peaceful and it's also conveniently located between both rec centers. We brought our bikes and biked to both. The open floorpan on the ground floor is fun and still very cosy. We recommend this home to any potential renters.
