Great location tucked away in the hills. My dog loved the backyard. It was fun seeing wild Turkeys and deer. The cabin is a perfect get away and close to all the attractions Rapid City has to offer. Would love to come back.

The location is great, close to Rapid City but still had a feeling you were out in the woods. The property itself needs updating. It was a bit too rustic for my wife and I for the money we spent.

Very relaxing place. Nice safe place for pets to run. Host had coffee, plus all pots, plates, cups. Etc. Big back yard. Fire pit. Huge table on deck.

Rustic cabin in beautiful wooded area. Deer met us along the road each day when we headed out. Very quiet and peaceful setting.

Quiet, off the beaten path location nestled in nearly on the end of a deadend canyon road. Nice deck to eat , talk, watch wildlife and grill. Small steep uphill driveway, if you bring a trailer you'll want to park it on the edge of the road. The only bathroom is accessible through 1 bedroom. Window air conditioner in kitchen, air flow doesn't reach back bedroom. Kitchen amply stocked with utensils and basic core ingredients. Had a couple minor maintenance issues, host managed them quickly. No phone service that far in the canyon but cabin has WIFI.

Heart of the City Cabin

In city limits though rustic feel, dips your big toe in wildlife, deer, turkeys and Bighorn Sheep out your window. Truly a hidden treasure.

Charming Cabin

Our little family of three and our two small dogs greatly enjoyed our stay at this charming cabin. It was close to everything but was tucked away from the noise and busy-ness of town, felt relaxingly remote. I prepare all of my meals and the kitchen was well stocked with all the supplies I needed and easy to navigate. The backyard was secure and peaceful, the beds were very comfortable, and everything was just as we hoped it would be. The check-in and out procedures were simple and communication from the hosts was excellent. We enjoyed watching the many bird varieties and the squirrels outside the cabin.

Perfect family cabin

The cabin was a perfect fit for us. It was quiet, a short distance to everything, and extremely welcoming. The backyard is completely fenced in so it’s safe for dogs and kids. Every morning we found a doe and 2 fawns hanging out in the driveway. The scenery is beautiful with giant oak trees and pine trees plus flower beds with beautiful Lilies. The decor was cute, even my teenagers liked it. My daughter stole the master bed because it has a canopy. We loved the old books that you can pick up and read. At night we would take turns reading out loud stories from the old fairy tales book. The cabin has every household thing needed to stay there. We highly recommend this cabin and would stay there again.

Cute little cabin, close enough to things and far enough for some quiet family time. Seeing wildlife here was pretty cool. Communication with the host was great! We would definitely stay here again.
