Quiet One-Bedroom Cottage with Deck in Walkable Neighborhood

Get to know a real Seattle neighborhood with coffee shops, boutiques, restaurants, Green Lake and Woodland Park Zoo, all within walking distance, and a short drive or bus ride to downtown and Seattle Center. The Phinney Guest Cottage can accommodate 2 adults. A twin air mattress is available for an older child.

This stand-alone house is decorated with a charming blend of antiques and contemporary furniture, and thoughtfully appointed. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a stackable washer/dryer. Relax in the cozy living room and stay in touch with free Wi-Fi. Enjoy a glass of wine in the evening on the sunny enclosed deck.

Phinney Ridge is a truly walkable neighborhood: no need for a car since you can walk everywhere and take the bus downtown (and avoid parking hassles!). The bus stop is a few steps away, and schedules and details are all provided for you. Restaurants close-by include Mediterranean, Thai, American, Greek, vegetarian, Mexican and the best burgers and onion rings in Seattle at Red Mill. Because this is Seattle, there are six excellent coffee shops within just a few blocks, including our favorite half a block away. May through September, the farmers' market on Friday afternoons is a great place to find delicious local produce.

Linda’s cottage is truly a home away from home - and this was my fourth time calling it home. Walking distance to Fred Meyer & Trader Joe’s, a short jaunt to Green Lake and a ton of restaurants/coffee shops/bars within a short stroll from the cottage.

This was my 3rd stay at Linda’s cottage. She is amazing, the cottage comes fully loaded with all sorts of amenities, and the vibe in Phinneywood is incredible. 10/10.

Great stay, as always!

Whenever I travel to Seattle, my first choice is to rent Linda's cottage. The cottage is perfect, the neighborhood is walkable, and Linda is an amazing host!

Excellent cottage in a great neighborhood.

The unit is comfortable, very clean, well equipped and near stores and restaurants. Linda is an excellent hostess, friendly and available if you need her. This is the second time we have stayed here and we plan to come back.

Perfect Location

We loved our stay right off of Greenwood Ave. So close to our son and daughter-in-law for a special visit. The cottage was so organized, comfortable and efficient. Linda made sure we had everything we needed. We definitely want to stay here again. Thank you!

Great location!

Perfect location for our base of activities. Beautiful landscaping and flowers in the neighborhood - all in bloom while we were there. Host was very helpful providing information for places to get specific items I needed. Quiet area and deck was a pleasant place to take a reading break. Well equipped kitchen. I plan to stay there again on my next trip to Seattle.

Amazing Stay!

This cozy cottage has exceeded our expectation. It is well appointed and very thought of and has everything you need and impeccably clean. Great neighborhood and walkable to so many restaurants and shops nearby. Green Lake Park is just minutes walk. Linda is a fantastic host. She made sure we had everything we need and more in this home away from home. My family had a very wonderful time and made us feel very safe in the middle of pandemic. Highly recommended and would love to stay again in this lovely place when we come back to visit!

Perfect place to stay while exploring Seattle

Linda's cottage was perfect place for us when we visited Seattle few days ago. The location is great..so close to bus stop, eateries, highways. We did not have much interaction with Linda other than the first time when we landed in her cottage. She was very welcoming and showed us around and let us know where things are. The cottage has a full kitchen and some essential supplies like coffee, tea, sugar, spices and oils. We did some grocery and cooked our own breakfast while we were there. Although we did not have to use it, there is a washer / dryer in the unit too. The mattress on the loft was just right for my teenage son (ceiling was a bit low for his height but he managed) and the bed in the bedroom was very comfortable. Bathroom was very clean. WiFi worked well. Everything in the cottage was just perfect. Only difficulty we had was with the free street parking. The days we returned late (around 10 pm) we had to park almost a block away. But that wont stop us from recommending this great place to our friends and other travellers visiting Seattle region.

Our host was awesome and gave us a quick tour when we arrived. The kitchen was stocked and we didn’t even have to buy coffee to brew.

We loved everything about this property! It’s super cute, cozy and has everything that you need. The neighborhood is amazing as well. Very walkable. Fantastic place to stay

Everything about this place is fantastic. The residence is a nice little one bedroom. Everything was spotless. The bed was comfortable. There was a washer and dryer for us to use. The owner was very easy to work with. And the neighborhood had everything you would need within walking distance. Very hip and trendy.

Lovely cottage

We enjoyed our six nights at Linda's sweet cottage. It was spotlessly clean, very quiet and comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay. We would definitely recommend her place to others and hope to return here on our next visit to Greenwood!
