I booked this place for my birthday weekend and it was perfect! So much space for my friends and me. We LOVED the outdoor shower. The downstairs room was my favorite, nice little sanctuary.

House was great! Patio does get evening sun so it’s gets pretty hot but once it sets behind the houses on the other side it cools off. Caught a 20in speckled trout off the back! House provides water toys such as kayaks and paddle boards with life vests of all sizes.

Peaceful

Very nice, quiet place to stay enjoyed fishing and crabbing from the dock. Loved the separate king bedroom downstairs.

Was perfect place for spring break with teens. House sleep 9 of us easily and plenty water activities to keep teens busy!

Great views and place

We really enjoyed this house. We live close by and rent bay houses often when things are going on. We brought our mother who loved the peacefulness and we paddle boarded all over (even in our 40s) and had the best time. Will stay again!

Beautiful home with plenty of space. Very nicely furnished, and they thought of everything you could possibly need and more. The owner couldn’t have been nicer and was very prompt in responding to all communication. Will definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Perfect!

Great location and ease of access to the water. The house had fishing poles, crab trap, paddle boards and kayaks, perfect for everyone. Christine was incredibly helpful and accommodating. Would stay here again 10/10 times. Thank you!

Our go-to house for summer vacation!

We have stayed here previously and were excited to return because the house fits our multi-generational family perfectly and the amenities there are wonderful. We love the paddle boards and kayaks and fishing in the canal. The owner was very communicative!! She is super kind and always helpful. We love the island, especially this house, and can’t wait to come back!

Amazing!

This property was beautiful!! Quiet!! Literally has everything you could want or need while at a beach house! Decorated so perfectly!! Stayed here with my entire family — perfect for every age. Plus Captain Frank and his boat ride was was a highlight of our trip… nothing like seeing dolphins and the sunset

Nice long weekend trip

Property is lovely, clean and fully equipped, nice location and view. Christine is very helpful and answered my questions quickly. My kids enjoyed the kayaking and fishing. The only thing I didn’t pay attention but found out later is that one bedroom is downstairs.

End of summer vacation!

Our family enjoyed this beautiful home on the canal for an end of summer long weekend. The home was well-equipped and had everything we needed. The furnishings were stylish and comfortable and we made some awesome memories! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Fabulous!

We loved the place. Great kitchen opened to the living area. It made us want to cook. The spacious deck over the canals provided a lovely view of the sunset. Downstairs covered outside area level with the canals was a haven from the sun and wind.. We did not want to leave.

Perfect Getaway

This house was one of the best places he have rented in Galveston. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The kids and adults had so much fun on the paddle boards, and kayaks and fishing. So much room outside for relaxing. Some family came for the day and enjoyed it as well. My only disappointment was that the under water green light was not working, but that was no big deal because we had the best time. Thank you Christine for allowing us to use your home!

Thank you for leaving the house clean and tidy! Yes that was disappointing the underwater light company couldn’t get there in time for your stay but it’s working now. Looks like a fisherman had pulled it with their line and broke. It’s been replaced now and we are ready for summer!

Turtle haven

The house was really nice. It fit our family of 10 comfortably. Had plenty of pots, pans, utensils and spices to cook family meals. The house was clean but some of the beddings had quite a bit of stains however they had plenty extra sheets to change. They provided everything to keep our family busy. The kids loved the kayak and SUP. The homeowners even had a crab trap that the kids caught crabs in! We would stay here again.

Thank you for your stay. I'm glad your family had fun! Unfortunately, a guest left something in the dryer that was staining our sheets. We have repaired the dryer and it's not leaving stains on the sheets any longer. Makes us happy your family had a nice vacation.

Weekend Senior Surprise

Several moms wanted to give our daughters a weekend to remember after their senior prom. This was the house we settled on. The space was cozy - enough for some privacy but with supervision. Very clean and updated! Christine was extremely nice and responsive - and excited for and our journey! She was like family by the end lol. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely amazing!!

We absolutely loved this property! We rented it for prom - so my twins, a friend and his mom! The furnishings are perfect and comfortable! I love the open concept kitchen, living and dining area! The beds were super comfy! The only negative - the smoke detector went off as I was getting out of the shower! The plunger was the perfect length to turn it off!! Lol! Just showered with the door cracked after that! I would definitely rent this property again!!

The house is very nice but there were a few issues. The microwave didn't work, no batteries in two of the remote controls, had problems figuring out how to turn on the dishwasher (no instructions in manual). The owner was very responsive. Our biggest issue was that the tide was unusually high causing the boat deck to be under water which limited where we could fish.

Big open decks for morning coffee and sunset cocktails! Covered deck with lots of seating on the bottom during the day and the top deck for those beautiful evening sunsets. Green underwater light that comes on at night to bring the fish and crabs. Water toys~2 stand-up paddle boards, kayak, and 2 kids kayaks.

Guests love the property because you can spend all day at the beach and then return and fish and crab right from your dock. Sunsets are beautiful and birdwatching is cool!
Close enough to Galveston fun and fabulous restaurants but, a quiet small town feel.
