Very comfortable charming house in a great location. We appreciated Sam’s suggestions for things to do in the area. The only problem we had was the house was dusty and my kids allergies kicked up, but Sam said Vrbo hadn’t been letting him know about bookings so maybe they didn’t have time to dust! Overall, we had a wonderful experience, we would definitely stay here again. Go to Arcata Redwoods Community Park!!

Great house - was a lot roomier than the pictures portray. The couches & beds were the most comfortable I’ve ever had at a vacation rental.

This is our third stay at this wonderful property and we were very pleased. The large living, light filled living room is perfect for coffee and relaxed evening conversation by the fire. The kitchen is functional and perfect for gathering and enjoying. There is a lot of space to spread out, 2 full bathrooms and outdoor space. This is our favorite when visiting our Cal Poly kid and we’ll be back!

Home has so much character with a homie feeling. It had everything we needed and was located so close to the main area of town and Cal Poly Humboldt.

The house was spacious and had lovely historic details w/ modern accents. It was very convenient for walking to a market and restaurants, as well as very quick drive to the downtown plaza and the Cal Poly campus. We got right on and off Hwy 101 to go exploring. We'd definitely stay here again.

We came for a few few nights to take our teens on a tour of the Cal Poly Humboldt campus, and wanted to stay in the downtown area. If you are looking for a classic bungalow with fun decor, this is the place for you. The home is quite spacious with a big, comfy living room. The queen bedrooms have plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen had everything we needed. We loved the location, especially being able to walk to the awesome Wildberries Market for morning pastry and coffee, as well as any provisions we needed. Everything was great, so we had no need to contact the owners except for one quick question about recycling. They got back to us right away. Overall, we were extremely pleased with our stay and will look to book there again the next time we are in town.

You cannot ask for a better place near everything in Arcata. Our sencond child graduated from Humbolt. Stayed at many places the last 5 years. This had alot more room. Price was great. Would come back again

Another excellent stay

This was our second time staying here and we'll be back. It's spacious and perfect for family of 4-5. Walking distance to downtown and campus. Close to restaurants and market. Very enjoyable stay.

Great location, helpful hosts.

Check in was so easy- and the hosts made sure to let us know they were available if needed and were right around the corner. The place was just as expected, it was full of charm and welcoming. We enjoyed it. Would recommend.

The greatest stay in Northern California

The house was beautiful. The location was perfect, close to HSU and downtown Arcata. The owners are wonderful people. It was a great stay.

Such a comfy and cozy Craftsman home. It felt like it was our home. Relaxing atmosphere, well equipped, perfect for our girls trip. Location was great. You can easily walk to downtown Arcata. Just a lovely spot.

Our 2nd stay here did not disappoint

This gorgeous craftsman home is spacious, comfortable, sunny, and gorgeous. We hosted our student for dinner in the large kitchen, we walked to campus, the arcata farmer's market and more. I highly suggest staying at this home.
