Our stay was an enjoyable time enjoyed by all. The house was great and kitchen well stocked. Access to beach was easy and game room was a plus. Could not have picked a better weather week. Coastal carolina was a wonderful host. Thanks for the memories

Great family vacation

This house had it all! Anything you could possibly think of was at your fingertips, the layout was great for our large family. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation and are hoping to book again for next year.

Spring Break

The house and location are excellent. It is situated in a cul-de-sac, which makes it easy to watch little ones ride outside. The walk to the beach is pleasant, and restaurants are very close by.

Fall Fishing Trip

Perfect home for family. Elevator made the home accessible for my 82 year old dad. Great place to stay!!

Nice property

The overall stay was nice and the house is awesome especially the layout of the house for large group/family. The elevator was nice to have for those that struggle with a lot of stairs and the house was cozy. The was board games and great surround sound system for entertainment. There is also a balcony for every room in the house and each bedroom has their own bathroom which was great. It is pet friendly and is expected to have issues but only bad thing was there is stains on the carpet in the bedrooms. The house didn’t smell of any odors though it was just stains. I did take pictures on arrival to be sure I wasn’t to blame but that honestly is the only negative thing I can say about this property. I would rent again if needed without a doubt

Nice house

House was very clean! Great customer service from management. Location was okay and hot tub in winter was nice. Beds were comfortable. However….fireplace never worked or got fixed during our stay. Dishwasher malfunctioned to the point we just washed by hand, some table were chairs coming apart, some outside doors were very hard to close and lock and the dryer vent was 99% clogged. My husband spent some time cleaning out dryer vents in and out. Granted the management company was very responsive, we did have the maintenance guy out multiple times and some things were not able to be repaired during out stay. We were given a $50 reimbursement (could have taken a slightly discounted extra night but chose not to). Aside from some appliance issues it was a good rental, these will be fixed for the next renter I am sure.

Replacement parts for the dishwasher and fireplace have been installed and are now working properly. We apologize for the inconvenience and were happy to reimburse you for the loss of the fireplace during your December stay. The dryer vents have been cleaned and our team has also addressed the slider doors and chairs you reported. We are performing extensive inspections on all our properties as we prep for the upcoming rental season and are confident about Hendrix Hideaway; it's a beautiful home! We hope to welcome you & your family back to the OBX again soon!

The house was great. Good location, close to the beach and has a pool and elevator. Our family loved our stay, as well as our dog. Really the only issue we has was with some of the kitchen appliances. The oven/stove took a extremely long time to boil water. Also the dishwasher did not dry the dishes.
