Jake, originally from San Diego, and Michelle, from the city of Shaoyang in China, found a shared passion for the redwoods and life in Silicon Valley. With three energetic children and a love for travel and great food, they always valued finding balance amidst life’s bustle. A few years back, during the height of COVID, they discovered the perfect home—a cozy sanctuary among the redwoods, a place to relax and reconnect away from the pandemic chaos.
What began as an escape soon became their first true family home, a peaceful haven that offered them a deep connection to nature. Over time, they realized this home was too special to keep all to themselves. Now, with work and family activities pulling them closer to town, they’ve decided to share their serene spot with others. Here, they hope guests can find the same rejuvenating peace they have—a quiet, calming retreat filled with nature's beauty and charm.
