SeaClift - Big Stump Beach Ocean Front

SeaClift is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home at the edge of town located at the popular Big Stump Beach. Miles of sandy beach to walk. Just to the south of the home is where you will find Big Stump, a very old tree. A redwood stump, to be exact, when redwoods are known to be confined to the area south of Brookings. A redwood which, it appears, grew here. People have been visiting it since long before the white settlers arrived; in fact, the local Native Americans honored it with an offering of white stones or shells as they passed by.

At SeaClift you can gather with friends or family with all the comforts of home. Enjoy an evening on the deck grilling up some yummy food or have a nice evening inside during those coastal blistery days.
There is room for everyone. SeaClift features 3 queen beds and a bunk bed for the kiddos. Your dog child is welcome too.
Come stay at the SeaClift and you will see why you will want to make it your Home at the Coast from now on.

Though there is no beach access directly from the backyard, there is a path to the beach 3 houses north of this home.

Great location !

Beach access is close & we’re able to take our small dog as the back yard is enclosed. We were pleased with the new gate to the back yard - very nice!

We found the house to be generally in a state of disrepair and very dirty with pet hair and dust in every corner. The vacuum also smelled badly of pet odors. We did enjoy the location.

Property was not even close to what pictures showed. Dirty, not maintained and neglected place. Furniture falling apart, room doors are not locking, garbage disposal not working and full of stinking crap. There was bunch of mouse droppings in different places. Beech access is like legs breaking trap covered by vegetation. Total and full disappointment.

Endless ocean views

It’s an older home but was very comfortable & had everything we needed. The easy beach access was extremely nice. We hope to stay there again!

The house was very rustic, could use some paint and deep cleaning, but the view made up for it! We did enjoy our stay.

Beautiful ocean views

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love this location! The house is clean and we love that it has a washer and dryer and a dishwasher. I wish the broken garbage disposal could be repaired or removed and electrical outlets in one bathroom repaired but those issues don’t stop us from renting. Also, the people at Ocean Odyssey are awesome to work with.

Great family vacation home! Beach access is two houses away. Beautiful view & quiet beach.

Overall a nice home. It is older, but we were all comfortable. I would suggest having patio chairs to better enjoy the view with. We had a great stay and we would definitely come back!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the location. 4 stars for that. I would say the footprint of the house was good and things were not dirty. We had issues with rust thought the home. The outside gate was literally disintegrating into dust when I grabbed it. It was not a completely fenced yard. The house needed someone to take some time and fix things and update it. But, we had a great time and those things were all easily ignored. Also, the rental company was awesome and mailed us things we had forgotten.

There were a few hazards for elderly guests, including rugs with no backing, and a shower with a very slippery seat. The beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of kitchen supplies. The view of the ocean is awesome, but there was only a picnic table to sit at outdoors.

We loved our relaxing stay in this home. Great deck with a wonderful view of the ocean. Beach access just steps away (as long as you can make it down a little uneven hill/trail). The beds were comfortable enough, kitchen was useful, place was mostly clean and especially clean where it counts! A comfy-enough beach house we'd stay again. Would be good to clean out/organize the pans, etc. Def need some new ones. Watch out for those pesky sugar ants! Bring some food containers/secure clips. A beautiful, quiet beach!

Calm

The location was perfect. Can’t beat the view. Property was old and slightly run down and unorganized but overall still extremely pleased with our stay.

Great little place right on the beach

The house had most of the things we needed however it was a bit dated and some things didn’t work quite as well as they could have. The house is super easy access from the road and very close walk to the beach which was nice. The view was great and the fireplace was a great feature for us. Od stay there again.

I wish it would have had an actual fenced yard and some bedside tables. Heat was a little uneven but it was overall comfortable once we figured out some quirks. A little dusty, some drippy faucets some burned out lightbulbs. Nothing terrible.

Great view

All three of us had a wonderful time. We each had our own bedroom. There were only about 3-5 other houses on this one little street and we were the last one. It was quiet and clean and comfortable. The cherry on top was the weather, turned out better than we thought it would. Long story short, our stay was excellent.

Size perfect, view perfect. Cleanliness so so. Very dusty when we got there, bath soaps from previous occupants left in shower. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Awesome view and location but dated property

View, location and easy access to the beach made this an enjoyable stay. Property itself is in need of serious updating. Low ceilings; old, worn and dirty cabinets, bare light bulbs without fixtures, musty smell on arrival, etc.
