We had a wonderful stay at the beach which we felt was all ours! It felt like we had the beach to ourselves! The house was just perfect and had everything we needed! Thank you Annie!

Wonderful, cozy beach front house with an extraordinary view of the ocean. We had an amazing stay walking on the beach rain and shine. Would come back in a heartbeat. The owner was very responsive and accommodating

Literally beachfront with just steps to the beach. Very solid house with everything you will need for a relaxing time on the Oregon Coast.

This is our second visit at Annie's House. It is very comfortable and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. The location is superb with vast open uncrowded beach areas right out the door. The only reason for 4 stars, not 5, on cleanliness was due to quite a few carpet stains from pets, I assume. I mentioned to Annie and she had been trying to set up a cleaning for that. This is such a peaceful retreat and we will stay here again.

Beautiful location/excellent view of the beach/ relaxing / kitchen has every need you could think of / wonderful for family watched pets( we brought sheets to cover couch and such to keep clean. Great place for walk and walks with dogs.Annie was a fantastic host. Welcoming and answered questions and replied back right away. Very nice and brings confidence to your choice and trip.

Absolutely filthy carpets throughout the house.No instructions on heating for each room. Tub privacy. No hotBUT kitchen well stocked. Beds very comfy.

We have the carpets professionally cleaned every 3-4 months, depending on use. They have been cleaned since your visit. There are thermostats in each room near the light switch that can be set at whatever temperature you would like. But I am glad you appreciated the kitchen supplies and comfy beds……I’m hoping you enjoyed your stay overall!

The home was very clean and bright. The host was extremely proactive in addressing some confusion we had with the company that previously managed the property. The host was very warm and helpful. Though the view of the ocean is a bit limited by the dunes, you can see the ocean and you can walk out your door in your bare feet to make your way across one dip in the dunes to the beach. The home and host were also extremely pet friendly. It was a great place for our dogs.

Ann was a great host. Communication was excellent. Beautiful ocean view with. Quick 2 min walk to a long flat beach. Place was very clean. We have stayed in some places that were not clean at all. Very pet friendly with dog bowls and blankets for the furniture. Wood burning fire place was awesome. Found a gym in Waldport, massages at Oceanleaf Resort and Spa. Cooked mainly and kitchen was well stocked. Ate out one night at Ono and it was just ok for the price.Thx so much Ann

This was a great house in a wonderful location right on the beach, actually on the sand dunes overlooking the beach. The master bedroom bed was extremely comfortable and I loved having a working fireplace. Decent, sharp knives and non Teflon in pans in the kitchen was a real plus. The only drawback was that the refrigerator smelled of fish, even with a box of baking soda and still had a fishy smell 4 days later.

There was an issue with the water off so the cleaning staff had no water to clean. So we needed to wash and dry towels and run the dishwasher. The counters and table were sticky etc.The manager was apologetic and offered to send in the cleaners the next day of our stay. We declined as we had already taken care of most of it the first day. There was no adjustment to the cost of our stay for the condition the house was in.

After self managing our property for 20 years, we thought we would “retire” and let a property management company take over…..What a mistake as your experience revealed:-(. We have now returned and things are so much better! Thank you for letting me know about the issues…..after talking on the phone, I was able to understand and sent you reimbursement. We also had the info to break contract with management company…..and I think we are all better off! We take vacations seriously! Thanks for your help, Annie

This house was perfect! Beautiful view of the beach. Annie was great to work with. The beds were cozy. We absolutely loved our stay!!!

We LOVED the property. Very nice experience to walk out the door onto the beach. For those reading this, I highly recommend going out in morning at low tide, turning left, and walking down to where the Alsea River outlets into the ocean. Lots of harbor seals playing in the water and lounging on the sand. A walk (or short drive) out onto the Alsea Bridge also has super views, with not only more harbor seals but also nesting cormorants. A couple of things we didn't expect that could have gone a bit better. There was no place to hang up clothes in the Master Bedroom, so we had to take chairs out of the entry closet to find a place to hang items. Wouldn't be a problem if you're just coming to lounge on the beach. Also, the TV didn't have any "standard apps" open. Thankfully there was a HDMI cable, so we fired up a laptop and streamed to the TV. Getting the TV set up for those that want to watch in the evening (or it was World Cup soccer for us) would be a nice touch. If it was just operator error, getting a more comprehensive TV usage would have been nice.Neither item took away from the experience. This is a great spot, and Waldport is a very cute (if quiet) town to camp out on the Oregon coast.Thank you.Frank
