Kick off your shoes and stay awhile at beautiful Lookout Escape. The Georgia side of the Fairyland neighborhood on the top of the Mountain awaits! 3 minutes from Covenant College, 4 minutes from Rock City, 6 minutes from Ruby Falls and just minutes from hiking trails in every direction. This home offers top-end amenities: a beautiful sitting porch, a wrap-around back deck with a calming porch swing and large propane grill, a relaxing, private outdoor jacuzzi for the cool evenings, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, comfortable Tempur-Pedic mattresses and cozy bedding - all to help you unwind and enjoy yourself after a long day of exploring this beautiful Mountain. There is plenty of parking on-site. The Chattanooga City Center is 8.2 miles from Lookout Escape, with wonderful restaurants to enjoy and plenty of sites to see. The St. Elmo neighborhood is a 12 minute drive to the bottom of the mountain, where you'll find the Incline Railway, ice cream, pizza and other great restaurants, as well. Relaxing Getaway

Thanksgiving Week Vacation - Lookout Mountain

Great stay on Thanksgiving weekend

We made a last minute trip to Lookout Mountain and Chattanooga for the weekend after Thanksgiving. This house was as advertised, and one of the cleanest rentals we have stayed in. It was well appointed and comfortable for 3 adults and 3 kids. The kids loved the hot tub on the cold mornings (and adults enjoyed it too). Rock City is a short drive away and was a festive adventure for the holidays. All around was a great stay and trip, you won’t be disappointed.

Great Stay!

We had a great stay! The location was perfect. Close to all the fun things on the mountain like Ruby Falls and Rock City, but it was also just a short drive to downtown Chattanooga. The host was great at responding to questions (just a few pre-arrival questions). The house was full of little details that made our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again!

Family gathering

Our family gathered here for my niece’s wedding. This was truly one of the cleanest and most well provisioned rentals we’ve ever used. So many thoughtful touches! Spacious parking. Huge TVs. We were extremely pleased. Thanks!!!

Clean and close to everything!

This place was perfect for our family. It was so clean that we thought it was a new build and laid out perfect for families. We were able to have the younger kids play downstairs and the adults be upstairs. The owners supplied so much that we wanted for nothing and although we didn’t need anything during our trip, the communication with the owner before was great! We would definitely recommend this place and stay there again ourselves!!!

Weekend in the mountains

Wonderful location

We came from middle TN for a quick staff retreat getaway. We had a wonderful time! Great location for all things (restaurants, Ruby Falls, Lookout Mountain). A must see is Sunset Ridge at Sunset. Best view in the state!

Chattanooga oasis

My extended family of 8 (6 adults, 2 kids) stayed here for 3 nights and would stay again for a future Chattanooga visit. Super clean and inviting home. Ample parking. Great hot tub. Comfy beds and lounge areas. Toiletries and kitchen supplies are good quality. Lots of space to spread out. Everything feels new and well maintained. Convenient to everything yet still feels tucked away and private. Communication with our host was easy and prompt and the whole process was seamless. Great property!

Perfect rental for families

We had our three kids (5,8,&11) here for two nights. The house was ideal. Kids had a blast in the hot tub.

Great newer house on lookout mtn

Stayed here while visiting Chattanooga for a weekend. Convenient location, easy to get to downtown for the city attractions. Felt safe. Would recommend this place and would rent again. Listing is accurate and depicts the house properly. House is well furnished with all the extras.

Immaculate House, Perfect location, Welcoming Hosts

We stayed at Lookout Escape while visiting Chattanooga for the Scenic City Softball Showcase. This house was amazing, Matt and Crystal do a great job, from the warm bread, waiting when we arrived, to the waters, snacks, plush linens and comfy beds. The house was spotless! Everyone in our group raved about the house, (5 adults 3 teens)The location is great, the house has plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. It is close to everything, easy roads to navigate, and plenty of parking. Our only regret was not coming up sooner to have a day to relax and enjoy the area before the tournament started. Highly recommend this house, you will not be disappointed!

Warm hospitality

This was a five star stay all the way. We were welcomed with an immaculately cleaned home and the smell of warm bread. The communications with the owner were very timely and informative. The property was fresh and clean inside! The outside deck and porch were delightful. We enjoyed sitting in very comfy furniture on the deck while we grilled each night and we had our morning coffee on the covered front porch in equally comfortable seating! The owners were very thoughtful upon our arrival and were eager to make sure our stay was more than acceptable. We were very close to all of Chattanooga and to areas on the mountain. We could not have been more pleased with our stay. It was just as advertised if not better. The attention to cleanliness and the fresh comfortable beds will have us revisiting this property!
