I have only 2 complaints. I had NO CLUE how to turn on the overhead light until I found the small remote on a side table that said “fan/light” on the back of it. So I just used the lamp and bathroom lights to see by. The other being, I have food allergies and have to have a freezer and fridge to bring my own food on vacations, there is ONLY a wine cooler fridge. So it doesn’t get below 34°F I made do, but it would’ve been nice to know this.

Small Issues

Very clean place and very well kept. The only issue we had was with some insects inside the unit. There were wasp like bugs inside the bathroom area and we could not find where they were coming from. Large ant located on the floor in the bedroom.

I thought it was closer to the ocean or beach side

The refrigerator was a wine cooler refrigerator could not fit a bag of ice in it and it didn’t keep stuff cold

Great stay

We really enjoyed our stay. Very clean, bed was very comfortable, close to restaurants, bars and grocery store. We would definitely stay there again.

Great location!

This property is perfect for a stay at the beach! It is 5 min from the ocean. Our dogs loved staying with us too. We will come here again soon!

Wonderful place!

We really enjoyed our stay here! It was clean and close to many things! It did get very bright super early in the morning because there are no curtains. It was also very loud as the walls were thin. Overall, I would stay here again.

Perfect in every way

Beautiful suit, very nicely decorated; very clean and well taken care of; minutes from Okaloosa pier, conveniently located near Publix, and local restaurants. Very private and cozy. We decided to make it our dedicated stop at least once per year. Just perfect!

Beautiful cottage

This cottage was perfect for our short stay to visit our son who is stationed at Eglin AFB. While the neighborhood was a little run down, the location to everything we wanted to do and it’s proximity to the base was great. The cottage was very clean and beautifully decorated with beach vibes. The bed was comfortable, the towels were clean, and we had everything we needed to relax and sleep well after long days out. Check-in was super easy and they accommodated our early check-in request. Thanks!

Fun weekend in the sun!

We had a great weekend, and an awesome little cottage, that was very clean, well decorated, and very cozy. The location was very convenient,walking distance to Publix, shops and restaurants. We trailered the boat, and the public launch was about a mile away, with very little traffic, on Labor Day weekend. We will definitely return to the same location in the future.

Great location + price with some downsides.

The location is great. Right in the heart of Fort Walton FL, with the convenience of a grocery store a quick walk away. In the morning though, delivery trucks to the grocery store are noisy and don't make it easy to sleep in. Can't be helped, so bring earplugs. What can be helped is how poorly stocked the property came. One roll of toilet paper and one half used paper towel roll were not sufficient for a 4 day stay for 2 people. I understand you don't want people stealing, but you could supply a roll for each night that is booked. Additionally the kerig coffee maker was terrible and the only appliance supplied. What a waste. A microwave or even water boiler would have been more useful. Could supply a pourover funnel for making coffee and the ability to boil water gives some very simple cooking options like ramen.

Cute cottage. Highly recommend. Nice, clean and Franny out did herself with nice little bonuses! Its such a nice place that i wish I could have picked it up and bought it back to Alabama 😊

Love at First Sight

This place is fantastic. We fell in love with it when we walked in. It was so clean and the remodel was amazing. It was perfect for me and my husband. The property manager always kept us updated and we even had some really nice treats to welcome us. It was less than a 10 minute drive over to the beach or a short walk to some fun shops and restaurants. Highly recommended!

Cute vacation stay

The stay was very nice and enjoyable for me and my husband. We loved the location and overall experience of the place. It was very cute and fun to stay at. Clean and spacious enough for two people. Only feedback is that we would have enjoyed having more than one roll of toilet paper and more than 4 washcloths for 2 people for 4 days.

The stay was great, property manager answered all my questions within timely manner, everything was neat and clean. Everything was close by stores within walking distance, beach was right around the corner. I’d definitely book again 10/10

Neighborhood concerns

The place was very cute and clean, however we did experience a couple roaches in the bathroom. I realize Florida is known for them, but still kinda creepy to see them. We had a power breaker problem while there but was taken care of immediately. When we arrived there was snacks waiting for us and a GC for a local restaurant , which was very nice of the owners. Our biggest problem was the location. Not in a very good neighborhood, noisy and heard trucks and noise from the grocery store all night as well.Loved how the place was fixed up and efficient in such a small area.

Last minute booking

Cute, little place. Clean! Very thankful for the last minute accommodations as our original plans at another establishments on VRBO cancelled our reservations on the day we headed out for our honeymoon. Cozy, little place. Perfect for people eating out daily, as there is no way to heat food. Close drive to beach access and many other attractions. The bed is super comfy if you enjoy memory mattresses! All in all, a good stay.
