Tucked away down a quaint private drive, yet only minutes from classic Supper Clubs and Boutique shopping in some of Wisconsin's most charming little towns.

The location of this cottage is great! It is right on the water and it’s a short walk through the back yard to get to the lakeshore. The cottage is located in a quiet neighborhood. We really enjoyed our stay here…quiet mornings at the house and afternoons spent exploring the nearby state parks.

First of all, the location is great! As listed it is only a few steps to the lake. The beach sand is wonderfully soft. I love the sound of the crashing waves. Unfortunately we didn’t enjoy our stay too much. The first thing we noticed upon opening the door was an extreme musty odor. We opened windows throughout the cottage but it was rather chilly so did not want to leave them open. There were small things like dishes, silverware drawer not very clean. We can and did clean some of those before use but the smelly water was difficult to handle. We did use the Britta filter but then opted to purchase several gallons of water to use for coffee, drinking, and washing vegetables, as well as plastic ware and paper plates and bowls. As I stripped the bed when preparing to checkout today, I noticed there was what looked like blood stains on the mattress pad. Also, on our first evening we were planning to play some of the record albums that were there. Unfortunately there wasn’t a needle in the stereo. Also there wasn’t a card with the number of a contact person. While this is a great location on Lake Michigan I don’t believe we will spend time here again.

Beautiful location right on the lake

We enjoyed our stay, location is perfect and cottage is right on the lakefront with the access to a quite sandy beach. Cottage is perfectly sized for a family of 4. Kids loved everything about our stay here and were sad to leave. Perfect spot for midwest beach vacation.

Lovely little house

Have stayed here multiple times now and love it every time. Great little place to just stay and relax. Swim. Walk the beach. You can walk for miles! We cook all meals there. We stop at the grocery in oostburg and then the bakery and just hunker down for a relaxing few days. Lovely.
