Keys Getaway

This was a great spot to enjoy a large part of the Keys chain. The location midway down the Keys gave us access to so much. The space was exactly what we needed. The area was lovely and the amenities on the property were fantastic. Julio was great to work with and responded to our questions and needs very quickly.

The kitchen had ample supplies. We were there during the coldest and windiest week of the year. The heat didn’t work so it got pretty cool. We didn’t use the the deck much since it was so cool. The condo is on a canal but a fence blocks the view and access is not allowed. The small tub was not heated so we could not use that. Other than that the condo accomodated 2 couples well. We enjoyed visiting the dolphin research center nearby and would have enjoyed it more if the weather was nicer. There are several nice restaurants nearby.

Great space and location in Duck Key

This condo was the perfect size for my family of 5. The owner was consistently responsive. The place was very clean and tidy. We did have several sightenings (5) of cockroaches (some were dead) but the recent rains down there might have contributed. The owner had stated they recent had the unity fumigated as well.Overall everything we needed including an in unity washer/dryer which is great. The two bathrooms was great for traveling with 3 children. The location was lovely and some many walking trails. The resort was nearby to offer restaurants but do note this unit is NOT part of the resort so you do not have access to the resort amenities. Overall a nice central location to Marthon and Islamorada (20 minutes either direction) which provided activities, shops, restaurants and grocery stores.Highly recommend.

It was a cute place it just is in need of some TLC. The kitchen cabinet door was falling off and the pool & patio was dirty. We didn't spend too much time in the townhome because we were there to charter fish but the coffee pot definitely needs to be a little bigger since the unit accommodates 6 people Surely nothing so bad that I wouldn't stay there again though

Lovely Home in Duck Key

Beautiful, wonderful, perfect little beach house. We enjoyed our time fully. The home was well-appointed, comfortable, CLEAN, and very serene. We would absolutely stay here again! Our only suggestions: please provide garbage bags, laundry detergent, and additional baking pans. :) this would make things a bit easier on a family who utilizes the kitchen and laundry. Overall tho, our stay was perfect. Highly recommend.

A qualified 5 star recommended VRBO property, with an understanding of the condition and amenities

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay at this Duck Key property. We've been to many properties in the Keys, and in fact have lived in the Keys previously. We would consider staying here again depending on the nightly rate. The owner is communicative and responsive to any requests. The middle Keys are a great location to vacation. The condition of the unit is clean and functional. It has been a long time since anything has been updated with this property and if the owner wanted the unit to be in the Hawk's Cay resort program, there would need to be some serious rehabbing to get it up to their standards: furniture, lighting, mattresses, windows, window coverings, dishes, carpet, kitchen utensils, paint, bathrooms, etc., etc. Speaking of the resort, this property is not part of the Hawk's Cay resort. Because of this, you won't have access to any of the resort amenities, even though the description may imply otherwise. It should also be noted: this property and all the Hawk's Cay properties lining this canal have zero access to the dock directly behind the property. This is not a temporary repair, this is a permanent ban as the privately owned homes on the opposite side of the canal have the only legal access. Do not bring your boat unless you have space reserved at the local marina as you will not be able to use the dock behind the townhouse. Again, we would return this particular property as long as the nightly price reflected the tired condition.

I reserved at this villa since my sister and I have stayed at this resort for several years as part of our memorial weekend family traditional. The amenities of the resort were not included,with the rental.obe of the upstairs bathrooms was leaking everytime you would flush the toilet. The master bedroom had roaches along as in the kitchen. The pool cuzzi never worked, when i called the owner he said it was out on a timer to let him know when I wanted to go in. I shouldnt have to call someone everytime i would like to use the pool cuzzi. The villa had no garbage bags, detergent to wash dishes or clothes. The bottom floor smelled like weed tge whole time. I will definitely not be using them again. Owner wasn't as helpful as you would expect after paying that kind of money. He hust didnt care....

Quiet time away!!

The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The patio was so nice to sit on and enjoy the sunshine. We had a visitor (an iguana) which was interesting!! The condo is just as stated in the listing. I highly recommend staying here. The owner was quick to answer when we had a question about the code to the door.

Nice place overall. You cannot get to the back area near water because it is fenced off but you can walk to another area of the complex boards. Since you don't book through the resort directly, you don't have access to pool/golf carts but there are the 2 restaurants that you can go to. There are beautiful beaches and restaurants outside the resort area and are a close car ride - we would stay again.

I booked this townhouse/villa for my best friends wedding that was being held at the resort of this property. Based on the amenities listed, I assumed the resort amenities were available with this booking. They are not. When I contacted the owner he stated his booking at that time stated the amenities were not included. Which was incorrect. It was not stated and the amenities listed were those of the resort. Vrbo agreed with me as well. Aside from that, the Whole place made us feel uneasy and I booked a different villa through the resort after the first night. A blind fell and scared us, the drapes didn’t close all the way and the place was so humid no matter what you did.

Fantastic location

Our group of 4 seniors stayed while enjoying some great snorkeling. We rented a boat from the Fish n Fun business on the island. It was very reasonable and a lot of fun.

First time in the Keys

The price was great, the property was nice. It was like a neighborhood of beautiful row houses. I would definitely stay in this resort area again and maybe one more night.

Fishing family vacation

We had a great stay, the accommodations were wonderful. There was plenty of space for everyone to relax after a day of fishing or shopping down in Key West. The property owner was very responsive and available if needed. We hope to come visit again soon.

Good location to explore the keys

Ideally situated to explore the keys, loved the patio to take coffee in the morning. The bedrooms were a bit dusty and the upstairs could be renovated (especially the bathrooms).

Nice lil place

We enjoyed it. Villa was perfect. Good location. We had our older kids staying in Marathon so we were in and out a lot. Would definitely recommend. Communication with Julio was perfect.

Great place to stay with kids

Great place our kids really loved it being in a resort. Right down the street from grassy key Marina where we were able to go out on the water. Would stay here again .

Lobster Miniseason gettaway!

Our family had an absolutely wonderful experience at this vacation rental! The moment we arrived I was captivated by the breathtakingly beautiful view. It felt like a dream waking up to such stunning scenery every morning. The amenities were top-notch, and as a coffee lover, I was thrilled to find a Nespresso machine ready to brew my favorite coffee. It added a delightful touch to my mornings, sipping on a freshly made espresso while enjoying the view. The cleanliness of the place was impeccable, and it immediately made me feel at ease and comfortable. It was evident that the hosts take great care of the property, making it a home away from home. We came during lobster miniseason, and diving off the Duck Key bridge was so convenient. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better vacation rental. The combination of the stunning view, Nespresso coffee, cleanliness, and ideal location made my stay truly unforgettable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a perfect getaway.

Nice place! Lots of stairs! Great location!

This place was clean and nice. Jacuzzi didnt work but water so hot in summer it didnr matter, it was clean and well kept, but water gets warm in summer! Patio outside really comfortable! We had an event in Marathon and did some meals there and felt this was a great location to stay to then go to Marathon. Beds were co fy and the other couple said they have not slept so well in a long time.. Cant really complain but 2 thinsg to note, bathroom on first floor very tight, lol cracked us up! And there are 16 stairs up to bedrooms, no bedrooms on first floor so you need to be able to do stairs. And that was all good with us. We would rent fromthem again!

Short stay

Property as described but the coffee table was covered in sand. The handle on the shower in the master bath would not allow us to turn to cold water so the water was way too hot. Overall, the stay was fine.
