We loved our time at the Sanctuaire! The lake was surprisingly warm, and Nora made sure we had access to canoes, kayaks, floaties, and more! The house was the perfect size for our two families, and offered so many activities that our three kiddos were never bored. We are already planning a return trip next summer!

The host is in contact with you before the trip. The house is clean, comfortable, and well supplied for all we needed. The location of the house is outstanding. Had a wonderful family stay, and my dog had a great time.

Please be clear if you rent this property that you will be in Baroda Michigan not Union Pier. It is in wine country and a good distance from the heart of Union Pier. It is on a small tranquil lake. The property is very wooded and pretty but tons of bugs. The host was easy to reach but the listing I saw had a Union Pier address close to Lake Michigan and I found this very misleading. This needs to be fixed.

Thank you!The house was nice and clean and the location was perfect on the lake. The hot tub was wonderful, even though the weather only allowed a short time to try it out. The house was very pet friendly with plenty of room for our travel kennel. Thank you again!!

Great lakefront place.

We love the cabin feel and enjoyed being on the water. The hot tub was great, and it’s lakefront, just 10 minutes from the golf course—a perfect weekend getaway!

It was perfect. It is clean has all the kitchen things you need. We stayed in the fall. Colors were beautiful. The lake looks nice. I am sure it will be a blast in the summer.

Nora was wonderful to work with throughout the whole process. Her home is beautiful and the amenities were great. We had everything we needed and more. We made lasting memories for sure. Would highly recommend this home.

Great place!

Great location! The owner was great to work with. We have been using VRBO for years, this was one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed in!! We would stay again.

Emmaculate house, great location, enjoyable for whole family! Host was very responsive and helpful with suggestions of nearby activities. Lake is very deep but warm and calm. Grab a noodle and jump right in!

Wonderful Stay - Peaceful & Tranquil

We had a great weekend away at Mona’s lovely property. It is close to great wineries and restaurants, but just relaxing at the house with the lake, fire pit and tranquil scenery is wonderful as well. Hope to come back soon! Thanks for a great stay!

Perfect quiet spot!

The property is wonderful! A quiet spot nestled in the trees. We had an amazing time enjoying the lake during the day and having a bonfire at night. The house had plenty of room to spread out. Also it is not too far to have a few day trips to other places. All and all an amazing place to get away!Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Nora’s lake house! The place was extremely clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with all the necessities (including kitchen utensils, outdoor items like chairs/coolers/floats, and plenty of blankets and pillows). She even ensured our pup was set with bowls, towels and a treat! We especially loved the hot tub, and well as the close proximity to so many wineries, breweries and pubs. We hope to return!

This place was perfection for our family of 5 and pup! The property is something out of a fairytale. The lake, the hot tub, the fire pit and the cozy beds made it a stay that will be hard to top! Very close to some great dog/kid friendly brewery’s and restaurants too which was nice. We’ll definitely be back! Thank you for sharing your home with us Nora! :)

Sanctuary Delight

We couldn’t have wished for a better place to take in the fall colors than this hidden gem. The hot tub just made it all the more magnificent.
