Very Clean

This house was in a great location and spotless! For being this close to the beach not even any sand anywhere. The layout was great and spacious and beautiful!

Model Home

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we opened the door to our rental, my aunt said it looked like a model home! It is so beautiful! Those of us who were able, used the boardwalk that is right across from the house. My aunt and mom took the golf cart since they are elderly and not able to use a lot of stairs. The free golf cart was an added plus and when the battery needed replaced one evening, the company immediately brought us another one! I will be dreaming of staying here again!

Beautiful home

We love the house, beautifully decorated. Plenty of space. The only real downside was the community boardwalk to the beach. It seemed to be in disrepair with several broken boards. It also involves more steps than I’d ever seen on a beach boardwalk. Not great if you have older family or little ones. It would have been impossible to carry all of our gear safely. Rented a golf cart which we had not planned to do. I chose this rental over others due to proximity to beach and the ease of the boardwalk. Disappointing that the boardwalk seemed unsafe to use. I would still rent the property, just plan and budget for a golf cart too.

Solid Stay in Port A

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was very beautiful and well decorated. The downstairs living room & kitchen were large enough for us to enjoy hanging out together and not filling cramped. The wrap around decks were great for the evening time and conversation. It's a great location, less than a minute drive to access the beach & less than 5 minutes to town. Also has an outdoor shower with warm water which was great to use for us and the kiddos. The Beach access with the bridge was nice but the bridge was a lot longer walk than expected. We didn't have access to garage and our final day loading we got caught in rain downpour and had to load in the rain. Also the house had a few things that were not made to size: EX: Trash can was very small and when you have 10+ people we had to take trash out multiple times daily. Also the BBQ Pit was very small and a Gas grill and the tank was empty when we arrived. Instead of refilling we actually spent $45 to purchase larger Charcoal pit because again when you have 10+ people you need a grill that can cook what you need too. Final very small thing is when we arrived, I think the cleaning team forgot to finish laundry and all of the towels were left in the washer and definitely smelled. So we had to wash 2X to remove mildew smell so we had towels to use for showers.

Wonderful Stay at Ray of Sunshine house!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I came with 5 of my best friends for a girls’ long weekend in Port Aransas. The house is gorgeous and is just as described, if not better. There was plenty of room to spread out and it was great having so many places to gather and enjoy great conversation...the downstairs living room, the dining room table, and two decks outside as well as the side garden area where we sunbathed on some afternoons. The ocean view from the 3rd level deck was amazing! It was great having a washer and dryer available to wash towels and our clothes after a hot day at the beach. The place was so clean and it was nice having a code to open the door rather than a key. Loved having the golf cart because it is a little far to walk with all of your beach stuff and coolers from the house. We did enjoy walks on the boardwalk which was located right across the street from us, the view from the upper circular deck on the boardwalk was spectacular! They property manager was readily available to answer questions but I think I could have avoided so many calls to them if they would have provided a little more information on their app, for instance how to get your golf cart key (you have to go to the office next to theirs to sign paperwork and get the key. They were very accommodating and allowed us to check in early. That was great for us and we appreciated their willingness to do this, especially knowing how busy it can be in Port A! It was a very quiet neighborhood and so close to drive in the golf cart to the downtown area or to the nearby Stripes to grab anything we forgot to bring. This house is wonderful and I would definitely recommend it! We will be back.

Great Time!

The house was great, neighborhood access to the beach, ocean views from the upper patios, lots of dishes available for use. The only reason this house didn't get a 5 star was that there was no trash can to be found in the kitchen area. We looked everywhere and ended up just using a bag from one of our shopping trips. Would stay here again.

Nice home, needs a couple things fixed

The house location was great, the beds were comfy and relaxing. The washer dryer didn't work the whole time which made washing and drying towels and clothes a little more challenging. The railing on the stairs was loose which was a little sketchy. The outside stairs had cracks in the boards which was really scary. The golf carts we rented were decent, and when one didn't run right they switched it out for us. The maintenance people were no help at all. Other than that it was a fun time. I just expect more if I'm paying $4000 for 4 nights

We enjoyed our time at that house. It was clean and nice. The only problem I had was getting Maintenace to come and repair the washing machine. In three days, I called six times. I was told on Friday that someone came by on Thursday (nobody notified me) and fixed it. While I was still on the phone with the lady on Friday, I went and looked in the washing machine and there was still standing water from what we left from dipping it out. We even tried to fix it ourselves. The maintenance supervisor would not get on the phone with me. The lady kept telling me what he was saying. He said someone came out Thursday and ran a cycle. They might have come out, but they did nothing. I know this because I left something in there and it was still in the same place where I left it. She said they would send someone on Friday. We made sure someone was there (missing out on the fun all day) and nobody ever showed up. We had several little ones that we needed to wash for, and we could not. We also needed to wash towels during the week so we could use them again and could not. I was very disappointed in your supervisor and not making sure things were correct so we could get things washed up. Other than that, the stay was great, the view was great, and we had a great time

Great house close to beach

We loved the house. We’ll stocked except for washcloths. Master bedroom only had one washcloth. Kitchen had tons of dishes and spices. We really enjoyed our time.

Beach get away

The home was nicely decorated and well kept. It would have been nice to use the yard, but the it had not been mowed in what seemed to be weeks because the weeds were extremely tall and the mosquitoes were hiding in tall grass. But other than that it was perfect. We loved the patios and the kids had a blast!

Almost perfect

House was very nice. Only issues we had were dining room light did not work. Lights from kitchen were sufficient. Also dining room chairs were very uncomfortable. All in all a good rental.

Great family space!

We enjoyed our stay! Common space was great for our multigenerational family stay. Quiet neighborhood with terrific proximity to beach (via both golf cart and boardwalk). Interior design felt comfortable and homey.

Great location across from the boardwalk although the boardwalk is long with lots of stairs. Unfortunately, due to Covid we could not drive the golf cart on the beach (so lots of walking). The house was well equipped (however, blender was old and needs replacing). Grill was also very small to cook for a large group. But overall, a great stay.
