The house is in a wonderful location, just a hop, skip, and jump to the beach and the cute downtown. The house itself has a nice front porch that catches the breeze and some lovely old features, such as beautiful wood stairs and an antique bed in the main bedroom. It is decorated with fun art. Prospective guests should know that the second bathroom is on the first floor, and it has no fan. It does have a window, which is very hard to access because the shade, like the ones in the main bedroom, is broken. The host asks guests to be tolerant of the age of the house, but the things that frustrated us had no relevance to that. For example, while making dinner in the oven, the kitchen became unbearably hot. Then the very loud fan went on, and couldn't be turned off. It made cooking a miserable experience. Further, the cabinets were full of crumbs and the linoleum is pitted. We couldn't get the television remotes to take us anyplace watchable.
