New, fully remodeled home located 10 miles from the most beautiful white sandy beaches and emerald green waters in the USA!

Our home is beautifully appointed with high end finishes. We offer 2 living areas so there’s plenty of room for everyone. Each of the 3 large bedrooms offers a different theme and has full large closets. We have 2 full bathrooms, a custom kitchen with all new appliances, cabinets and island. The kitchen is fully equipped with lots of glasses, dishes and cookware. Our custom desk has an ergonomic chair for comfort, and we have a full size laundry room with washer/dryer.

The private back yard is fully fenced and has a custom built propane grill. There is a large fully screened in porch off the sunken living room that has an outdoor vintage table, rocking in chairs and hanging lights.

The front porch has a beautiful custom trellis and comfortable furniture.

Closer to our home we offer a locals private beach less than a mile away on the bay. The boat ramp and Choctawhatchee Park is a mile away as and offers a boat ramp and picnic tables under the oak trees.

You’ll find lots of parks in our area. More information in our guide located in our home.

Comfortable and clean

House was bright and clean. Kitchen was well stocked and functional. We all had a great time and would definitely return.

AMAZING

The owner was an excellent communicator. She thought of everything imaginable to inform us on to ensure our stay was eventful. The coolest thing was the Red Hot Chile Peppers on the record player!!! Again the stay was phenomenal ;)

Great location, Pleasantly Appointed

Our stay here was exactly what we needed! The house is perfectly located just outside the hustle of town, but only a short drive to stores and important connecting roads. Communication on the property and nearby amenities were pleasant and thorough. Our family felt safe and comfortable during our stay and Nancy was always on time with any answers to our questions or helpful advice. Thanks again!

Really enjoyed having Daniel and his family stay with us for their summer vacation. Communication was great and just an easy family to host. I’m so glad to know that they enjoyed their time and appreciated our home and its location. Always welcome back!

The home itself was acceptable overall, but our check-in experience was disappointing. We arrived at the scheduled 4 PM check-in time after traveling 8 hours, and the home was not ready. The host said she was unaware we were arriving until I messaged through the app, and she was apologetic, but we had to wait about 2 additional hours before being able to enter. Once inside, the beds and kitchen appeared clean, but there were spiderwebs in corners and on some walls, along with spiders in the home. I appreciated the host’s apology and communication once contacted. With better preparation before guest arrival, this could be a much better stay.

I was not notified by VRBO that this guest was coming except 40 minutes prior when a text came through. I had no one booked to come in that day and cleaned other units earlier. I arrived at 2pm to start cleaning and notification came at 3:20. VRBO does not allow same day check ins especially on a 3 bdr home so it surprised me. I did the best I could to try and accommodate this guest who said she didn’t want to stay in her original home as it wasn’t large enough. So I scrambled and did the very best I could after I gave her a recommendation to go to a park to allow me some time to clean. She went grocery shopping and had groceries that needed attention so I didn’t get to do everything I normally do to welcome a guest. This was no fault of my own and I did everything I could with the very limited time I had to receive this guest. This was a VRBO tech issue and this booking should not have even happened. Grateful it did but not when I received a review like this when it was out of my control.

For decades I published a family magazine in the area but Covid took it out. I had to reinvent myself and decided to start hosting airbnbs and doing Turo and I have realized how much I enjoy hosting!

My kiddos have both moved away so it’s my husband, our three rescue pups, VRBO and Turo that I spend my time with.
I just really enjoy meeting my guests in person or via messaging or calls and making sure they are comfortable and have information about our area to make their stay that much more enjoyable.

It’s unique and one that will be completely revamped in the next 5 years. It’s under built, many are just discovering it so you still have a great taste of old Florida here and of course because it is right across from the water!

2 living room areas and 2 porches. Very private. No neighbors on either side or behind. Lots of parking. Water views! Uniquely decorated mid century pop styling.
