Another wonderful stay at this cabin. Quick responses from host, clean place with all the amenities you’d need. Air conditioning worked great. Great location for hiking or exploring the wine trail. Hidden, yet super easy access to highway.

Everything was perfect. The only issue was a squeaky bed, but the place was immaculate and Steve was fantastic to work with… very attentive!!

We enjoyed our stay at the well outfitted cabin near the Shawnee Wine Trail. Cabin is conveniently located near Giant City State Park and the lodge restaurant.

The location is perfect!! We were able to meet our son from siu and enjoy hiking and the great deck here. You are by other cabins but have plenty of privacy. We appreciated a fully stocked kitchen to cook. Will book again.

Easily the best cabin experience I’ve ever had! Wonderful amenities everything we needed for a nice weekend stay was there and ready when we got there. Very comfortable space with plenty of room perfect destination for a small family get away will be returning soon thanks Steve!

Before the visit communication for check in was great. The cabin was clean, nice, had plenty of space and was well appointed. Everything we needed as far as cooking, grill, plates, cups, etc were all there. Location was great for hiking trails, winery visits, and getting into campus in Carbondale. We brought 2 dogs and the space was excellent for them, with a side deck that we could let them into without having to worry about them!

The cabin was perfect for our 5 nights in the area. There was plenty of room and everything we needed. The pictures online were nice but in real life, it was a real gem. Can't wait to visit again.

Southern Illinois Hike Trip

Me and my buddy chose these cabins for our annual Southern Illinois hike trip and we were delighted with our stay. Our cabin offered a convenient location and plenty of amenities. Would definitely book again if we were in the area!

Perfect for a weekend of hiking

Very clean and convenient for hiking. Pet friendly was a big draw for me as we enjoy traveling with our Shetland Sheepdog.

Great Cabin and Great Location

The cabin was clean comfortable and a quiet place to relax between excursions to Giant City State Park, Giant City Stables, and Ferne Clyffe State Park. The cabin was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We appreciated that the people in the other cabins were friendly and respectful. If we ever travel to southern Illinois again, this is definitely where we will stay.
