Welcome to Mad Moose Retreat! Our modern studio, steps from Grand Ave in the Boardwalk condos, offers a delightful retreat near beautiful Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park. Imagine standing by Colorado’s largest natural lake, surrounded by rugged mountain peaks. Keep an eye out for moose—they occasionally wander into town against a panorama of snow-capped peaks.

Year-Round Activities: In summer, enjoy hiking trails, a Memorial Day parade, chili cook-offs, live music, water activities, and wildlife sightings. Winter brings snowshoeing and snowmobiling, while spring unveils serene trails and snow-draped vistas. Whether you’re sipping hot cocoa by the frozen lake or hiking amidst fall foliage, adventure awaits!

And for winter enthusiasts, there’s ice hockey on the lake or snowmobiling in the snowmobile capital of Colorado.

· Kitchen: The fully equipped kitchen features granite countertops, a gas range, stainless-steel appliances, and all the cooking essentials you need for delightful meals.

· Coffee: Start your day right with the provided Keurig, offering coffee, teas, and hot chocolate.

· Convenience: Keyless entry ensures security, and an in-unit washer and dryer (with included detergent) add to your comfort.

· Parking: You’ll have one private garage spot, and the Navatiee Wagon is available to assist with moving your belongings. Kindly return to the same spot when you leave.

· Extras: We’ve thought of everything! Enjoy a Pack N Play, games, puzzles, 2 folding chairs for the lake, essential linens, towels, and disposables. Your stay will be exceptional!

Special Note: Our accommodation does not have air conditioning, which is common in mountain properties. However, we’ve provided a ceiling fan and a portable fan to keep you comfortable on warm days. Plus, the spacious deck with glass doors and windows allows you to enjoy the refreshing mountain air during your stay. We can’t wait to host you at Mad Moose Retreat!

Please note:
A refundable $250 damage deposit is collected 2 days prior to check-out. The deposit will be held during your stay and, provided there are no damages, missing items, or other charges resulting from your stay, it will be refunded to the original payment method after check-out.

Age Requirement: 25

The property owner assumes no liability for any injuries, damages, or lost items during the stay.

In the case of approved long-term stays, a mandatory mid-stay cleaning is required for 1-month stay. For stays longer than 1 month, mandatory cleanings will be scheduled monthly. The cleaning fee is $50 per service, or $75 with linen service included.
Booking Requirements:
Guests must be at least 25 years old to book.

No smoking indoors; please use designated outdoor areas.

Respectful Behavior:
Be considerate of neighbors and their property.
No parties or large gatherings allowed.

Quiet Hours:
From 8:00 pm to 9:00 am, keep noise levels down.

Weather and Road Conditions:
No refunds for storms or bad weather.
Consider using four-wheel drive or chains during snow months.
