Get a taste of the West in this newly furnished townhome, located in one of the best locations in all of Scottsdale. Five minutes to Old Town and located on the 12 mile long Greenbelt- perfect for a morning walk or take a spin on one of the bicycles furnished with this rental or take a dip in the heated community pool. Enjoy your morning coffee or sip a glass of wine on the covered back patio as you BBQ your dinner. Townhome is all one level with three bedrooms and two full bathrooms- no one above and it is an end unit-so it is very quiet.
Everything you need for your stay including an extensive coffee bar, full kitchen, high end beds and mattresses for a good night sleep. Welcome to Scottsdale Modern Cowboy!

Pool was nice and relaxing. The patio was excellent, nice place to visit an very nice decor. We also enjoyed having the park and walking path nearby for a morning run/walk.

The house was beautiful and comfortable. We enjoyed the coffee bar. Patty was great and very accommodating. Perfect location for the Giants Spring training games. We will stay there again thanks Patty.

Great location

Nice quiet location. House was supplied with everything we needed. Close to a park for a good walk. Easy check in process. Would stay there again!

Wonderful Scottsdale townhome

We really enjoyed our stay. Centrally located near Old Town and right on Lake Chapparel it was perfect for our stay. The home was decorated and furnished very nicely and the owners provided everything and more needed to enjoy our stay. We’ll be back.

Great Stay!!!

We had a wonderful experience at this property. We were in town for spring training and the location was perfect! The home was spacious and very clean. Beds were comfy and we loved sitting outside on the patio. We also enjoyed having the park right next door for morning runs and bike rides. Thank you for such a fabulous vacation rental!

Wonderful vacation experience

This cozy house was so clean and comfortable. Patty and Mike were amazing hosts. They made sure that we felt welcome and got everything we needed from the first day we arrived to the the day we left. We loved our stay would highly recommend their house if you are visiting Scottsdale, AZ.

Home was exactly as presented on the site. Home was very well stocked with everything needed for an extended stay. Hosts were very helpful with written instructions for the home and followed up via messages through the stay. Location was fantastic- near all the amenities you want nearby but in a quiet neighborhood.i would go out of my way to stay here again!

Comfy Like Home

My wife and I stayed for a month. We loved the location as it is steps away from Chaparral Park. We love the walking paths and parks. The house is fully equipped. My wife and I worked remotely and there were no issues. The owners were very responsive and friendly. The location is close to everything. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

Only complaint is the foldout couch in the front bedroom. Very uncomfortable.

We are happy you enjoyed your stay, it was nice to get to meet you in person. We purchased a nicer foldout couch as it had a thicker than normal mattress and added a mattress topper for more comfort. We are sorry you didn't find it comfortable.

Great Modern Cowboy stay in Old Town Scottsdale!

Very tidy and lovely VRBO stay equipped with everything you need. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom and patio are excellent. The patio is my favorite and perfect for having a glass of wine. Location is incredible. Patty is a great host and there when you need her. She had excellent restaurant recommendations included in the house manual and was of great help. 10/10 recommend this stay!

Confortable home

The house has a very nice location to enjoy good walks with a beautiful view of a lake and open spaces . The host was always in touch with us for anything we needed. It was everything we expected.

Perfect location

We loved the location of this property! It was a fun bike ride to Old Town Scottsdale, the park/pond and the basketball courts. The condo was lovely and the welcome basket such a nice touch. Loved the outdoor patio to sit and relax while enjoying the outdoors without the sun beating down on you. Owners were very responsive when needed. We would highly recommend this condo.

Winter Vacation 2024

Perfect! Home was very clean. Great space. Had everything we needed for our 2 month stay. Quiet neighbourhood with access to the green belt and dog park. Easy access to the 101. Close to shopping and old town. Attended a spring training game and enjoyed hiking. Hosts were awesome to deal with.

Lovely

We had a lovely week! Liked the single-story building for those of us that have a hard time with stairs and for not having to worry about noise from above. A rarity for such a convenient location! Plenty of convenient parking. It was hot most of the time (June) but the shaded patio was comfortable in the morning. Questions and concerns we had were addressed promptly.

Stress free western escape!

Everything was as perfect as it seemed online. The location, the stay, the amenities, it was everything we expected. The beds were comfy, the patio was beautiful, coffee bar was fully stocked and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook and the grocery store was just a 3 min walk! Whether you drive or walk this location is perfect! Downtown Scottsdale was just over a mile from the rental making it easy to walk to dinner or explore the shops. We loved hopping on the greenway and riding the bikes around the pond. Thanks Patty for a wonderful stay, we will be back!

Great location, needs TLC

Overall, we enjoyed our stay, however it needs some attention and detail to cleanliness. The location is great, very quiet, and decor was lovely, the coffee bar was wonderful, and 3 parking spaces! We were able to check in early and stay late, very nice and responsive owner. However, dark brown water came out of the kitchen sink when we turned on the hot water. The floors were very dirty, amongst several other cleaning issues. Beds were super hard.

We are so sorry you had so many issues during your stay (this was a first) and we have taken corrective action to all of the items you've mentioned-all very easy fixes. We had just turned on the air conditioning and we think it may have blown dust around. The rest of the home was spotless and we take great pride in our comfy beds-perhaps you are used to a soft mattress? We were happy to hear you had a wonderful time and loved our home.

Home away from home

Our recent stay at the Scottsdale Modern Cowboy property was incredible! From the moment I booked, Patty went above and beyond to ensure a seamless experience. Upon arrival, we were greeted not only with a clean and beautifully maintained property but also with a thoughtful care package filled with goodies—it was such a warm and personal touch that immediately made us feel welcome.Patty’s attention to detail truly set this stay apart. She was readily available to answer any questions and provided fantastic recommendations for local attractions and dining. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about her guests' comfort and experience.The property itself was great —cozy, well-equipped, and exactly as described. Whether relaxing after a day of exploring or enjoying the scenic surroundings, this place felt like a perfect home away from home.I can't recommend this Vrbo and host enough. It’s rare to find such a combination of outstanding hospitality and a lovely property. I’ll definitely be back, and I encourage anyone considering a stay to book without hesitation!

Delightful rental close to pool, park, and walking paths

We were delighted with this rental for 3 weeks in March. The home is an end unit and very quiet. Bedrooms/living area had unique window covers that let you see out perfectly but no one can see inside which maintains privacy and also kept the home cool inside. There was a small but workable kitchen prep area, good cookware and utensils. We loved the fully stocked coffee bar with two coffee options, and there was a great welcome basket upon arrival. Beds were very comfortable with large closets in the bedrooms. Bathrooms were compact but very nice. We also loved the private patio area off kitchen/dining area. It was near parking but cozy and quiet with lots of plants, greenery and decorative tile. The small grill worked great for our needs. It was a quick walk to pool and short direct walk to greenway walking paths which was convenient. Short walk to Safeway too. The 3 parking places were helpful for our guests. Patty and Mike were very responsive to our questions. We would definitely stay again.

A great 3 weeks in Scottsdale

We had a FANTASTIC stay in Scottsdale. Location was unbelievable - so close to everything. An unexpected favorite activity was our daily walks around Chaparrel park - it is a great amenity, with friendly people and a few different paths to select from. We also loved that Safeway was a 5 minute walk so we could pick up groceries on the go. Our unit was fantastic! My husband and I both worked the whole time we were there - the bedroom/office set up was perfect for me (nice size desk and view to the courtyard) and my husband was at the dining room table. Everything was so clean and well taken care of - our friends in the area came over for drinks one night and couldn't get over how lovely our accommodations were. Additionally, the unit was so generously stocked with everything we needed to be comfortable and more,. Plus I loved the full size washer and dryer. Another big bonus were the SMART TV's with lots of apps to keep current with our TV series when we had some down time. Mike and Patty were great hosts and have a wonderful attention to detail - we were SO HAPPY spending our January in lovely Scottsdale staying here! We can't wait to come back and do it all over again! Jennifer and Michael

What a serene & ultra-comfortable place! Extremely well-appointed with perhaps the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on in a vacation rental. Chairs and sofas were also very comfortable - both indoor & outdoor. I loved having a cup of tea on the outdoor patio surrounded by plants & bird song. Beautifully decorated! It was great having a scenic walking trail just outside the place too! I hope I get the chance to stay here again.

We have provided information on many of our favorite places in Scottsdale/Phoenix as well as great places to visit while you are here both in the city and around the state. We want you to enjoy your stay and fall in love with this beautiful city we get to call our home.

We love how close this property is to Old Town Scottsdale (five minutes), McCormick Ranch (five minutes), and the 101 Freeway (five minutes), so close to fabulous restaurants, shopping and nightlife but far enough away so you can relax. This unit sits back from Chaparral Lake so you have the convenience of the greenbelt, sunsets on Camelback, and a picnic by the lake right out the back gate and a walk down a short sidewalk. Perfect for staying active while away.
