We stayed here as an extended family for a wedding near by. This home is comfortable for 25 people to enjoy the amenities, cook, eat, sleep, park. It was fun to be all together in a lovely setting! The lake and surrounding area make it feel like you are isolated from the hurried world! Jeff was very responsive to my questions! I would definitely stay here again! It is a well stocked home that exceeded our needs!!

Everything was as stated! Plenty of good beds for adults and the bunk room with 6 bunk beds worked great for all the kids. Not to mention the piece and quiet grandma and grandma got with the cottage out back!! As a bonus all week was perfect weather.

Great stay for us and our friends that were attending a wedding at the other house on the property. Close enough to things to do, restaurants and shopping/groceries.

Great stay

We had a great time staying over Memorial Day weekend! Everything was very clean and the owner was very responsive. Would love to come back again!

10/10 recommend this host and property! Our extended family had a tremendous weekend. The beds were comfortable, rooms were spacious, kitchen met our big needs, dining room table and outdoor seating allowed us to sit together for meals. We were comfortable and happy here!

Beautiful setting, plenty of room inside and out for our clan of 21. Owner was nearby and quickly responded to any request.This was our third year in a row and booked for another next year.
Sunsets were fabulous!
Secluded cove at the south end of the lake.

Great for large group

Great place for our family of 19 on the quiet end of Elk Lake. Lots of room for yard games. Host was very responsive to any needs.

Great Stay Near Teaverse

We had a great trip here. The home is perfect for multi generational family where grandparents have their own space. It’s quiet and private yet close to Traverse, sleeping bear, cherry picking, etc. definitely do a day to Torch Lake sandbar if it’s warm. Overall, great stay.

Beautiful lake front

Well appointed, massive sleeping options, beautiful lake front, guest cottage perfect get away but the main house needed a deep clean. Owner was easy to communicate with, check in super easy, overall our large family had a nice vacation.

This is without a doubt THE best property for a large group on Elk Lake! Anything and everything you might need has been provided; nothing has been overlooked. Truly a magical property, and we can only hope to someday return!

That lake view!

Perfect location for our annual family reunion/vacation! The house was both cozy and roomy, with everything we needed for meals and relaxation! Our host was excellent in responding to the one small problem we had! Hope to make it an annual location!

Vacation Paradise in Michigan

Amazing property with the best views on Elk Lake. There was no need to leave the property as it has it all: views, water sports, volleyball, fire pit, cornhole. It was one of the best family vacations we have ever taken. The owners were wonderful and we are thankful they let us share a piece of their paradise.

Great place to stay with a big group

We really enjoyed staying at your place on a bitter cold winter weekend. We were a full team of hockey players and the ability for us to split off into the other house was great. Plenty of hot water and warmth and a well stocked kitchen was wonderful. Hoping that it will be a yearly event!!

Tranquil setting

The setting is just beautiful, sun sets every night were amazing. The house was very large with enough room for 10 grandchildren and 6 adults. The smaller home was comfortable, had everything we needed and was very quiet. Area activities, food shopping and wineries were very close by. It was just beautiful and would highly recommend a stay!!!

Host was great, very responsive and easy to work with. They do have quiet hours after 11, we got a message from Jeff even though the book said midnight. Neighbors don't want short term rentals there. Hot water was hit or miss for showers. Security lights would go off randomly and shines in bedrooms. Some of lightbulbs were burnt out. Couldn't get fan in living room to turn on. Most everyone in my group got swimmers itch from floating in front of the dock. It is a beautiful area with a nice setup outside, very nice sand in volleyball court, large fire pit, and a large newer grill.

Repeat Visitors!

We have been staying on Jeffery and Alisa property for three years and hope to continue the tradition. We bring family from all over the Midwest to meet up north and enjoy the fresh air and lake! The home is very accommodating to large family gatherings. The hosts are very responsive and helpful. We make lasting memories at their locations!

The Lakeside Cottage and cabin rental was absolutely wonderful for our family. 16 adults and 8 grandkids! The kitchen was perfect for cooking and serving meals. The views out front were spectacular. There were plenty of loungers and the beach volleyball/sandbox created lots of entertainment for the kids and adults. We brought our own sand toys and a little pool for the toddlers. We rented a pontoon for boat rides and also for fishing at Skegemog Lake or swimming at the sand bar. Wonderful family memories were created here.

Family Vacation

We stayed here for our yearly family vacation and had a blast! The place was large enough for our big group and clean!! We loved the covered patio along with the screened in porch because we did have some rainy days! The guest house was also a nice addition as it allowed some of the family a nice quiet place to stay. The location is great as it is very close to downtown elk rapids along with meijer and the casino! The host Jeff was awesome with communication! If we had any issues or questions he responded immediately! Thank you for an amazing stay!
