The Roost is a family friendly, peaceful little get away. We had easy access to the beach, downtown, grocery stores and walkable trails. The amenities were enjoyed by us all and it’s always a plus when our pup can come. We highly recommend!

This home exceeded all expectations. Beautiful interior and awesome outdoor spaces. Not a lot of coffee cups for a large group and we couldn't find a good spatula for flipping pancakes but other than that we were well,-pleased with the Roost.

April (the host) was amazing! So many good tips and suggestions for things to do and places to eat in the Ft. Bragg area! The house was lovely and well equipped! The numerous mounted taxidermy animal heads throughout the house were also quite impressive! Thank you for hosting us!

This house has so much to offer. Lots of space for living & entertaining. Our kids swam in the swimming pool, we BBQ’d, played pool in the billiard room and had friends and family over every night. Our 18 month grandson was so excited to watch a helicopter and small plane use the runway behind the house. The back yard could be an amazing wedding venue, it’s gorgeous. Our favorite feature (and there are many with this listing) is the luxury of privacy so close to town. My wife and I took our vacation to build fun memories with our kids & grandkids…this house helped make that easy. Thank you April for sharing your families home with us, it was a blessing.

This house was absolutely Amazing and Beautiful. It was the perfect setting for my family and I!

You can tell from the minute you pull up to the property how special and amazing this property is for a family to enjoy a beautiful getaway. Everyone in the family from ages 3 - Adult had something to always be doing and laughing or smiling the entire time. This is an Amazing little Gem we definitely planning coming back to

Spectacular view

We enjoyed our stay at this property, despite being rainy most days, we enjoyed the view, the peace and quiet, the amenities kept us busy indoors. On one sunny day, we were able to walk around the property which was enjoyable. We had a visit from 2 herons, 2 ducks, a hawk, 2 crows, a rabbit and a stray dog. Unfortunately the hawk kept swooping by scaring the ducks and the heron away. The living room was great for movie night or just watching the fire! We all fit just fine and the reclining chairs was a plus! We hope to come back another time!
