Enjoy a comfy retreat on beautiful Beech in this very clean guest suite w/ private bathroom on a paved road only a short drive from everything the Mountain has to offer. Private entrance, guest parking, TV, Wi-Fi, trundle bed w/ memory foam full mattress & soft twin underneath, microwave, mini-fridge, coffee/tea maker, grill, indoor & outdoor eating area, firepit & more. & Pets stay free! A lovely space to unwind and relax after a busy day enjoying the beautiful High Country.

You'll have the guest suite area all to yourself and your very own picnic table & hammock outside of the room for you to enjoy on a nice day. The backyard is open to guests too w/ a fire pit, grill, picnic table, yard area, stream... & zipline!
Quiet area on paved road close to walking trails. Road is plowed pretty well during snow fall. Only a few minutes to main road, ski resort, and other local amenities.

The only thing left for you to do is to enjoy yourself!

What a great place to stay. It was small and cozy, but all the space was used efficiently. Every ammenity to make it comfortable was thought of! We had 3 adults and 2 small dogs. The closet was perfect for the dogs while we were away and to store our belongings. We would definitely recommend!

What a perfect little spot. Really loved staying here with my two dogs and my daughter. Just the right amount of room for all of us to have a place to wash up and relax when not on our mountain bikes at Beech resort. Everything was perfect, and I was very, very pleasantly surprised at the checkout process was essentially… Do nothing and just leave it! Some hosts expect you to turn into a housekeeper on your last day of your stay and nothing like that was expected here. I definitely recommend it and I will certainly be back next time. We are riding bikes at Beech.

Our stay was perfect for a couple looking to get away for the weekend, or as a solo traveler. We loved waking up to deer in the yard every morning, and the neighborhood was peaceful while still being close to restaurants, hiking trails, and other attractions. It rained during part of our stay, but honestly, it was pretty neat being in the clouds. As you drive down the mountain, it's completely clear below, which made for a really unique experience.The mountain roads took a little getting used to since we're not used to driving up and down mountains, but it wasn't an issue. We did have some minor confusion at check-in because VRBO directed us to the upstairs unit instead of the lower one, but the host was very responsive and got everything sorted out pretty quickly.My only small complaint was that being on the lower level, you could hear a lot of footsteps and movement from the unit above, even with a sound machine. If you're used to apartment living, though, it's nothing out of the ordinary.Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend it!

The unit was very clean, great for our dog, the mini kitchen was well stocked with coffee, creamer etc. The unit was very nicely laid out for the small space. Location was in a quiet neighborhood very close to Beech Mountain Resort. We would definitely recommend this unit to any couple with a dog or child. Thanks

The room was very clean, well-organized, and comfortable. Everything was neatly arranged, creating a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. Grandfather Mountain Hike

Had a wonderful stay with boyfriend and best friend Elly (the yellow lab rescue). It was very peaceful and accommodations for Elly were very helpful. It was a nice place for all 3 of us to come rest after a day of hiking.

My husband and I were in town to celebrate our youngest son's college graduation. This location was perfect for us. Our 14 year old lab had a little difficulty with the stairs but we managed. Thanks for allowing us to stay in your home

Perfect Getaway for the weekend!

The guest room was so cozy & over our expectations! 5 mint to Beech Mountain and other locations. Perfect space for a couple and small dog- my fur baby love it! The recommendations for activities on point. Looking forward to return soon!

Hands down, fantastic.

This property is a short hop skip and a jump away from the slopes, it’s in a gorgeous neighborhood (is it even called a neighborhood in the mountains?) and the property itself is lovely. The hosts were nothing short of amazing, the communication was easy and timely, and honestly, they go above and beyond to make the stay enjoyable. They had a fire pit, a picnic table, a hammock - all of these things available to the guests to make the stay perfect. They also provide all sorts of information and pamphlets for all the local things to do with their own little blurbs about whether they think the places are worth visiting (speaking in the case of local restaurants in that instance). We even got a visit from some locals (a family of deer greeted us as we came back from a hike, just hanging out by the fire pit watching us). Overall 10/10 would stay again AND recommend!

I'm originally from New York, my wife from Sweden. We have 3 kids, have been married more than 15 years and are always on some kind of adventure(we actually met backpacking in India many moons ago). We moved to beautiful Beech a few years ago after escaping hot & flat Houston. We're happy to host and hope that you enjoy every minute of your stay on the mountain!

Why Beech? We visited the area a few years ago and just loved it. We were going stir crazy in hot and flat Houston where we had been for more than a decade. Especially my wife, who is used to the beautiful seasons and nature of Sweden. I was happy to be closer to family too. We then decided to make the move and don't regret it one bit.

What we love about the property: We love being surrounded by nature, seeing deers casually stroll through the backyard. Being able to have a glass of wine on the deck, sit around a backyard fire with friends, or just breathe in the fresh winter air. It's healthy for the head, the heart, and the soul!
