As an avid birder, this place is incredible! The views are spectacular and this also had well - thought out appointments. Very clean and they had Spectrum!!

This was our second stay at this beautiful, well-appointed home, the first time being in the larger space upstairs with our family, and this time we were in the lower level which is perfect for a couple. The house is kept spotless and is incredibly comfortable, including the patio furniture on the deck where we spent our mornings drinking coffee and watching the deer. It's on a quiet road so it's a great place to kick back and relax - but still have great internet service.

The home was absolutely perfect! Very clean and had everything we needed for my family of three. We will definitely be booking this home again. The location was great easy to get too. Highly recommend booking this property.

Rental unit is the lower level of the property with a larger rental unit above. We stayed mid-week and were fortunate that the upper unit seemed to be vacant for the time we were there. There is a bit of a curvy drive to get up the hill to the site, but it was worth it. Just take your time. The stay is worth it. The house itself is high on a hill overlooking a small valley, which was very nice. And the road was quiet at all hours. The unit we were in was very clean, well appointed, and tastefully decorated. Kitchen countertops are a beautiful granite, the appliances look to be all new or very nearly so, and the bathroom is beautiful - with the same granite on the sizeable vanity as in the kitchen. The bathroom is a little separate from the living area, kitchen, and bedroom it seemed to me, as one has to go down the hallway to the laundry room, and the bath is off the laundry room. This is not an issue, however, and never a concern. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our quiet stay. My wife even thanked me for choosing to book here. She was much more happy than she would have been in a hotel room. l highly recommend this location!

Perfect place for a couple or small family to get away! Not far from Boone, Blowing Rock, or Tennessee. Extremely clean and well maintained. Would definitely stay again.

Super clean with beautiful views . Wonderful location just a short drive from downtown Boone . Very comfortable with up to date decor and appliances .Highly recommend and would return for sure .

Great location

This place was very nice well maintained and clean, it's in a great location about 30 minutes from anywhere we wanted to go in the area I will definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay in Vilas/Cove Creek. The house was small and cozy and wonderful. It was the perfect getaway for me and my husband. There was a sitting room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom (with a very cool toilet), and a laundry area.The scenery from the windows and the outside sitting area was so beautiful, and it was so peaceful at night. The sitting area outside was so nice - there was even a hammock! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed - pots, pans, dishes, utensils, a large refrigerator. The bed was so cozy and soft. The televisions worked great and had Roku. The bathroom had plenty of towels and hand soap, and it even had shampoo and conditioner. It also had a hairdryer.The drive up was fun with some very curvy roads, but they weren't too bad, just watch out for wildlife. And we saw lots of flora and fauna - deer (a Momma and her babies!) and squirrels and one chipmunk.It wasn't too far from Boone, Blowing Rock Beech Mountain, and Banner Elk. There's an excellent winery not too far from the house - Grandfather Vineyard. They had music the day we went, and the wine was excellent.I highly recommend this place.
