Jim was a great host. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed. Lots of toys and extras for the kids. The location was great!

Best stocked place we have stayed in! Had everything we needed and more. Tons of toys for the kids. Clean. Didn’t use the pool because it was too cold but hot tub was great! Golf carts were a hit and awesome to drive down to the shops. Thanks for a great location!

Jim was fantastic to work with and his property is well maintained. It was great for our large family. Plenty of cribs, toys and games for the kids to play along with a pool and hot tub.

We really, really enjoyed our stay. It was so perfect for our family--from grandparents to small grandkids. Used the grill, hot tub and of course the pool. Seems like a kid was always in it.Highly recommend! We will stay there again.

We absolutely loved our stay! We spent a week here and couldn't have asked for more. The location was accessible to everything, we were able to bike or walk everywhere we wanted to go. The pool and hot tub were perfect for relaxing after long days at the beach. The house was incredibly well-stocked with so many thoughtful extras that it's impossible to list them all. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and be comfortable, and the host's communication was fantastic from start to finish. We would definitely stay here again!

The owner Jim was very nice. He checked in on us when we arrived and when our stay was over. We had no problems. House was very nice snd clean. Our grandkids loved the pool and hot tub.

Perfect family getaway

Your home was perfect for our family!! The pool, pac man, and toys were all great and well used by our children 🙂. Very clean and comfortable home and was just what we were looking for. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable.

Wonderful Family Home

We had 3 different groups from our family staying here and had a wonderful experience. The home was clean and absolutely stocked with nearly every child item you could need (bikes, strollers, toys, cribs, etc.). Very convenient to walk downtown and to the beach. Overall a great place and would stay again.

Long weekend family getaway

We had a long weekend family getaway in South Haven. There were 7 adults and 2 kids. There was plenty of room for everyone, the house was stocked with everything we needed , communication was great on checkin, keys , etc. Location was great for an easy walk to the lake, shops and restaurants. Everyone enjoyed their stay!!

Perfect family rental

The home was perfect for a large group. Walking In I was very impressed to find that it was exceptionally clean. It was the most comfortable and well stocked rental I have been in. The location was perfect with a short walk to downtown and the beach. My whole family from ages 10-72 enjoyed our stay and hope to return!

Wonderful Home Away From Home!

We were a large family group, staying in South Haven for Mother's Day weekend. The Icehouse offered us a lovely place to stay while exploring the South Haven area. The six bedrooms, three full and one half baths made our stay very comfortable. We spent our evenings playing games at the large dining room table, and were grateful to be able to enjoy the pool and hot tub in the afternoon. We would love to stay again sometime and highly recommend this South Haven Gem!

Perfect for what we needed

The house is spacious with a very good flow. There are many extra things available to use. Such an easy walk to town or you can just hang out at the house.

Wonderful! Tons of amenities, very family-friendly, great location.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed every bit of this rental. The pool/hot tub/ deck were the main hang out space. Kitchen was well-equipped. We appreciated having spare coffee, kitchen supplies, and toiletries so we didn't have to keep running out to get things. There were so many toys for the kids to explore and play with. And the location to the beach and downtown is wonderful. We had a few questions and the host, Jim, was very responsive, helpful, and kind. Can't recommend this place enough!

Wedding weekend

It was our wedding weekend. So we booked both the Sun House and Ice House to host family from all over including Germany who had never been to the US. The houses are amazing, fully equipped, they thought of every need!! The owners responded right away with any question. We want to come back every year for our anniversary! ❤️

Fall break

This spacious home was everything we were looking for in a vacation rental. From it’s six bedrooms to it’s beautiful backyard. A large deck with a gas grill, plenty of seating, a private pool, hot tub, and a shared play set for the kiddos. Very kid friendly with many books, board games, toys, and an actual arcade game in the home. The home was stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Plenty of towels, both bath and kitchen, garbage bags, paper towels, hand soap, laundry detergent and a fully functional kitchen. It is located near the playground and beach, and a short distance to downtown. The host offers a golf cart for an extra fee, which would be convenient to drive to the playground and beach. The host was very accommodating and responded quickly when texted. We would definitely stay here again.

It was a lovely property, very spacious, and well stocked. The kids loved the pool and were in it constantly. The large deck made family gatherings convenient and comfortable. The property is a walkable distance from both South Beach and town. It was a great week!

The home was perfect for us. The pool heater worked great. I have been to a few places that say heated pool but it is broke or just doesn't heat the pool. Jim was a great host. Messaged Jim asking about an electeic air pump and he wasnt sure if the house had one so he had one delivered next day. Very much appreciate the extra effort. The house had many items that most other rentals just dont have. Bikes, pool gear, toys, books, DVD, board games, and arcade machine. Plenty of space to spend time with family and personal space as well to relax. We liked it so much we tried to book for next year but the house was already rented. Highly recommended. Thanks Jim. We had a wonderful vacation. Great location. Few blocks from beach and downtown. The kids loved the golf cart.

Family getaway

Property was amazing and property owner Jim was just as amazing with answering an questions we may of had. Plus locatin of property in proximity to town of South Haven makes for a very relaxing and enjoyable stay Will definitely return for another visit.
