Enjoy stunning views from this second-floor condo located in the beautiful mountains of Gatlinburg. The condo is comfortably furnished to provide you with a relaxing home away from home. Explore all the Smoky Mountains have to offer and then return to this peaceful unit to unwind and enjoy the scenery.

About the area:
Our condo complex features an outdoor pool, indoor pool and hot tub, paid laundry facility, arcade, outdoor playground and grilling area. Nearby Ober Gatlinburg offers skiing, tubing and ice skating during the winter. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park has beautiful trails and scenic views year round. Don't forget all the unique and awesome shops in Gatlinburg and hundreds of outlets in Pigeon Forge and Sevierville. There's so much to do and see in the area!

Getting around:
The condo is located on the second floor of the building and is accessible only by stairs. Also please keep in mind that our condo is on the top of a mountain. The roads are winding so take your time and be safe! Many mountain roads in the area do not have guardrails. Four-wheel drive may be required in the winter months. Free parking is available at the condo complex.

Ober also offers a gondola ride to downtown Gatlinburg! Drive the 1.5 miles to Ober, park your car there and ride the gondola to downtown Gatlinburg. Shop, eat, walk, enjoy and ride the gondola back to your car!

Condo was nicely furnished, with nice, peaceful views, and had comfortable beds and bed linens. I only recommend the sleeper sofa for kids, as the mattress was too thin for adults to sleep on. As shown in pictures, kitchen is on the smaller side. Keep that in mind if you like to cook. My only real complaint was the squeakiness of the wood floors, but it's nice that the host included noise machines in each room. Communication from host was great!

Birthday celebration trip

This property was the ideal spot for anyone who prefers to be up and away from the hustle of the town. It was pretty cool watching the bears too. Our condo had everything we needed, and the heated pool was an added bonus. A home away from home atmosphere.

All the Bears!

Property location is AMAZING! The winding road that leads to the top of the mountain is one of the coolest things! Very narrow for a Tahoe, but such a cool drive! Cute little condo. Older but very clean. It worked great for us and our 3 kids. One of our favorite parts is that we saw bears on the property 6 out of the 7 days we were there. I would definitely go back and recommend this VRBO! Thanks for a great vacation!

Weekend trip

We were in town for a sports related event. The rental was super clean and just as described. The kitchen was small but efficient. The owner had fantastic communication and provided a helpful digital guide with all info we could need prior to our arrival.

Our short stay

It was a great experience, the condo was clean & well furnished. The host communicated well with all the details! The only issue we had was an outlet not working in the master, & we couldn’t get the lights to work in the second bedroom, but we managed. Overall it was a great experience, would definitely stay there again! Thanks so much!

Amazing View

Our family of 4 had an awesome stay! We were in town for zip lining, Dollywood, and whitewater rafting. This cute condo made for the perfect landing pad during our two night stay. The view from the balcony was amazing and lent us the opportunity to safely observe not one but two black bears. We loved it!

Stay at the Summit

Property was clean and perfect for our needs. I loved staying at the top of the mountain where it was quiet and the views were great. We even saw a bear nearby which was cool. Communication with the property owner was great throughout the entire booking process and stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Awesome!

The unit was great and the views were even better! We had an issue with one of the toilets when we first arrived and Stefanie was super responsive and sent a handyman out quickly to resolve our problem. While our children didn’t need them, we noticed the unit came stocked with a high chair, a pack and play, and sound machines so it is very family friendly! It was perfect for our quick stop on our way home from North Carolina.

It was cute but flawed

We wish the pictures showed the kind of building you were staying in. You pull up and it’s basically an apartment complex you’d see in very not so fancy neighborhood. The inside was fine once you got to the room you’re staying in. Nice and clean, even had soap and shampoo provided if you needed it in the showers. The view was as pretty as the pictures show but the balcony is itty bitty. My husband and I along with our two year old couldn’t really comfortably stand on it due to how tiny it actually was. Be aware and make sure you wear your shoes because my poor little one got stabbed in the foot by a nail on the deck that had popped up. I notified the manager and she said she’d have someone fix it. But that didn’t help the current circumstance we were in. The pool and spa area was also flawed which isn’t this property owners fault I’m sure. But one spa was not working properly and the one that was working was foamy as hell which raised some concerns for us since my husband is a pool and spa professional. The pool was also cloudy which told us there was not good maintenance in chlorine which is just… not good at all… eww. We passed on the swimming and spa soaking basically. You will see bears! If you’re ready for up close bear seeing.. you’ll see them here. Everywhere! We got surrounded by three of them at one time and we were luckily right next to our car to jump in and close the door. This was expected though as we are staying in their natural habitats.

A Great Family Friendly Spot

Property was exactly what we needed! Very family friendly, clean and quiet. Close to all the fun attractions but far enough to appreciate the great views! We will definitely be back!

Smoky Mountain Road Trip

Great condo for us, a family with kids. They were able to have their own beds in their own room, so nice to have that little extra space as compared to a standard hotel room. We loved having both the indoor and outdoor pool after long days spend in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. For reference, it took us 15-20 minutes to get to the visitor center and 30 minutes to get from the condo to the Alum Cave trailhead. Even with all the condo amenities, it was nice to feel a little more secluded from the hubbub of Gatlinburg. It’s a short drive down the hill to Gatlinburg for dinner or activities, or traffic can be avoided completely going into the national park. Beds were comfy! Kitchen had the basics needed for meals. It was a great stay and we had some great days in the Smokys!

Sibiling get away

Had a great time with my brother and sisters. The only issue was that on the photos the balcony looked bigger than it really is. I love mornings with nature but it wasn’t as comfortable on the balcony. The rest of the place is older but very cozy.
