We really enjoyed or stay. So far, this is our favorite house to stay at in Sea Ranch. We loved the layout of the house and the views of the ocean.

Had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday at Pacific Pearl! It was our first time at Sea Ranch and we loved walking the bluff trails for one breathtaking view after another, swimming in the community pool, and enjoying the hot tub under the stars! This beautiful and spacious home is so thoughtfully set up with cozy seating to enjoy the ocean views from all angles. Would definitely stay again!

The house was a great combination of open space for gathering together and then little nooks to focus on a book or just to gaze out over the expansive Pacific Ocean. We were lucky to see whales on two occasions from the upstairs dining room/living room area. Although we were just adults it would be a great place for a family with kids as there are outside areas to play.

Amazing Pacific Pearl

We had an amazing stay, what with the spaciousness of the house, the hot tub, and the proximity to hiking trails, both on the coast and up in the redwoods. Spectacular!

From the moment you walk indoors, you are amazed with the wonderful layout and size of the home. The ocean views from the kitchen, dining, and multiple living spaces are unbelievable! Everything is labeled, which helps keep everything organized and in its proper place. The kitchen is well stocked, but could use small spoons, and a blender. But….one could bring or ask host to supply. : ) we didn’t want to bother Mark about that, but he was such an amazing host who not only responds right away, but is very accommodating with any requests you have or questions. The hot tub was very clean and very relaxing and in a nice fenced in yard. We also loved the automatic blinds that are set on a timer that open and close each day which was so convenient! There was plenty of space for the 5 adults we had with multiple comfy couches and chairs with amazing views of the ocean. Especially from the long dining room table. We saw multiple whales during our stay with the binoculars that are provided. Huge amazing bonus! The beds are extremely comfortable, great showers with strong pressure and a magnifying mirror in primary bath…. With having poor eyesight, it was much appreciated! Home is in the best location! Close to the Sea Ranch lodge, black point beach, pebble beach and not far from 2 fish bakery which is an absolute MUST to go to! Overall wonderful experience, and we would love to return!

The Pacific Pearl is a quintessential Sea Ranch home. The house is spacious, with large, comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms that made it easy for everyone to relax and spread out. At the same time, what really made the place special were the many cozy, thoughtfully designed nooks—perfect for reading, unwinding, or contemplating while gazing at the Pacific ocean.Everything in the house was clearly labeled, which made settling in effortless, and we really appreciated the abundance of books and games available for guests.The home was fully equipped with everything we needed from the moment we arrived, and the hot tub was a fantastic bonus—perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the coast.Overall, this home strikes a rare balance between spaciousness and coziness. It’s beautifully set up for a comfortable, easy, and memorable stay. Highly recommend!

Beautiful house, wonderful stay

This is a really beautiful, well-maintained house, with sweet personal touches, a fantastic view, and a super kind and responsive host. You really can't go wrong. Beds are big and comfy, kitchen is unbelievably well stocked, and we even saw whales from the living room. I very much recommend this home.

Relaxing stay.

Great place and location. The home had everything you would need and more. Comfortable beds, tons of places to sit and read or just look out at the ocean. Kitchen was very well stocked and had great appliances. Also, the communication with the owner was almost instantaneous. 5+ stars!

Beautiful property that felt like a second home. Everything was well stocked, and the host was both communicative and accommodating. The home has a battery backup system (which is great); however, when we checked in, one of the systems had an alert tone going off. I contacted the host, and within MINUTES, someone was out to fix it. Considering how remote Sea Ranch is, this is incredible. The rest of our stay was perfect. Easy dinners at home (well-stocked cooking supplies), and there are plenty of short hikes nearby that were great for the kids. The house has ample instructions on how to use everything: Hot Tub, thermostats, TV's, etc. Additionally, they had board games, books, and DVD's available for the rainy days in. Overall, will definitely book again.

Ideal Sea Ranch Home

This is a fantastic home with everything you might need! The location is unbeatable, offering breathtaking ocean views and easy access to trails, the pool and Shell Beach. The kitchen is well-equipped with modern appliances, making meal prep a breeze. The beds are very comfortable, with fresh, high-quality linens ensuring a great night's sleep. There's plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy, with spacious living areas and multiple spots to unwind. Overall, we had a wonderful, relaxing experience. Highly recommend!

Birthday getaway

There’s something magical about Sea Ranch and arrival reminds you of how you felt the last time you visited. This time we stayed at Pacific Pearl with fabulous ocean views. The light streaming into this home was exquisite. I felt like a cat sitting in the sunlit chair by the window watching for whales. I swam everyday at Ohlson and we biked around the area too. We caught an amazing jazz show at Gualala Art Center and enjoyed a few dinners out and about. Mark was a fantastic host, communicative and available. The property was clean and comfortable with lots of great books to peruse. Many thanks…until next time.

Pacific Pearl

Very nice layout of the property. Enjoyed having cooking, dining and entertainment on separate level with great views. Bedrooms and associated baths were comfortable and well appointed. The only negative thing our group encountered was the scented conditioner or detergent used on the bedding. Two in our group have allergies that were affected by this product. We addressed the problem by washing the linens etc. with an unscented detergent. Loved the quietness and access to so many trails.

Amazing week at Pacific Pearl!

We had an absolutely wonderful week at Pacific Pearl. It was one of the best houses we have stayed at for our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids under 10). The layout was great - the downstairs hang out area was perfect for the kids and we loved that they could play in the backyard. Beautiful and easy walks from the house in two directions. We used the owner's passes to swim at 2 of the rec centers. The house has amazing views, tons of books and dvds, very comfortable furniture, plenty of towels, and the hot tub under the starts was heaven. Beds were super comfy and on the softer side which is our preference. The desks were also nice when I had to do a little work. Great appliances in the kitchen - the house really had it all. Can't wait to go back!

Perfect Week

Brooklyn, NY came to visit to Sea Ranch and what an enjoyable week we had. The house was perfect for a family of four to spend the week. Enough space for adult children to visit with their parents. The husband was out every morning for his daily run. Mom and daughter enjoyed walks along the trails. Views around house and Sea Ranch were spectacular. Communication with host flawless. Check-in easy. House was perfect for a few family game nights. Hot tub was clean and used often. Something to do everyday in Sea Ranch. Don't miss a trip to Two Fish Bakery. Thanks, Mark, for a wonderful space to enjoy a family retreat! We'll be back soon!

Peaceful and relaxing

The location of this home is ideal for a relaxing vacation. It's ideal for slowing down and enjoying the nature around you. We loved the assortment of trails around and proximity to so many parks. The home is exactly as pictured and the chairs are super comfy. The house does get pretty warm in afternoons from all the west facing windows. With our visit in October, it was no issue and the open windows were great. It is something I'd ask about if I were going in warmer months and was used to air conditioning. Again, not a problem for us, but just a thought for others planning. Super host and lots of communication inside on home features are offered.. We had a great time.

Modern connected convenience in a raw organic setting

We loved our ten days in this home, and it does feel like a proper home with books, games, and a fully equipped kitchen. The views to the ocean are spellbinding and the walks to local beaches a daily highlight. The house is digitally connected with automated features such as timed blinds to preserve the dark night skies and a live weather station. Mark was on hand by phone with any questions. There's a laundry downstairs, a hot tub in the garden and a lovely balcony which catches the sun from early in the morning and looks out to sea. One day was stormy so we stayed in with plenty to read and play. When the sun came out we learned how to play Cornhole!
