Fabulous accommodations. Fully equipped, clean, nicely decorated (pictures are very accurate) and close proximity to the beach. Many nice small touches. Would definitely stay again. My only recommendation is to have ice cubes made in the freezer...wanted a celebratory cocktail upon our arrival in paradise.

Pictures are accurate on the web site and the property is clean, well kept and has necessary amenities. Soap, coffee and other items were supplied and kitchen had everything we needed. Would suggest having coffee filters available and make sure ice maker stays turned on. We had a great stay. This is a Great area.

Family Getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our time at the Beach Castle Resort! The resort is charming and the beach was very peaceful. The unit was tidy and well appointed. We did come across a few dirty dishes and the skillets didn't have lids that matched size-wise which made cooking a little tricky. The bed was very, very firm and my husband ended up sleeping on the couch the second night. Not restful after a long day at the beach. We did have an issue with the AC which was addressed quickly. The technician got it up and running within a couple hours. Communication with RVA was not perfect. The after hours line acted annoyed by our questions when working through the AC repair situation. We did try to call to extend our stay and no one returned my call. The cleaner was dropping equipment at the door just before 11AM (checkout time). We felt a little rushed out. Other than wishing we had better rest and some lack of communication it was a nice stay.

The inside of the property was really nice and had everything we needed to cook. It was a short walk to the beach (across the road). The grocery driver had an hard time finding us. Consider lighting the property sign at night. Overall, we had a great time! Thanks

Anniversary celebration

We love Beach Castle have been visiting for over 35 years. Pool and beach are great. Quiet area. Great seafood in the area. As far as unit we stayed in kitchen cookware could have been updated. Quality of bed linens were lacking.
