The Lighthouse w/golf kart available. 300 yards from beach, clean A-rating, attractively decorated with lighthouse theme. Covered porch with rockers. Conveniently located in Myrtle Beach/Surfside area. Inside Ocean Lakes campground. Must be 25 years of age to rent. Our rental days during peak season are from Saturday to Saturday.

Pets welcomed with approval from owner.

Recent upgrades. New vinyl railing on front porch. New kitchen floor.

Home away from home

Have stayed here before and plan to return. Love the location, the cottage is clean and family friendly and the owners are extremely easy to work with. Appreciate that they share this treasure with others. 😊 ers.

Nice little place to stay.

This home was just right for our family of 3 adults and 1 dog. Close enough to the beach to walk if you're able to.

Beware

This could of just been an off week but we will never stay or recommend this place to anyone. Photos are deceiving house was disgusting on arrival. The Kitchen table was a mess and had crumbs and food all over it. bathroom shower had hair and mold all over it. The main couch looked like they shaved bigfoot on it and also had crumbs and stains on it.we did contact owner they responded quickly to this! Maid cleaned everything except the couch which i had to vaccum out.and clean. Once exiting the house the door handle feel off so had to make the door close another way contacted the owner on this and he had his friend come bye and check to see if it needed to be fix right away or could wait i told him it could wait he apologized and said he asked him to fix it before. Had a problem with the big brown coach roaches getting in the house had to seal the door frames with duck tape so they wouldn't get in. Contacted the owner they had it sprayed after we left. To be honest we contemplated leaving the first night cause it was so bad oh and the horrible smell when we walked in was awful but that left after the maid cleaned enter at your own risk you have been warned!

Great stay

We had a great week at The Lighthouse beach house. We really enjoyed coming back to this house after 11 years with our two young kids this time around. The house has everything one could need at a great price. There are things here and there that need attention, and the last guests didn’t clean very well. However, we still had a great week, and we would come back to the house again.

Had a blast in ocean lakes!

The Lighthouse is a great little place. We were pretty bummed that the complimentary golf cart ended up in the shop for most of our stay. We opted to rent one from ocean lakes for 3 days , thinking the golfcart would be done. No it wasnt. The last 2 days of our stay was hard because things are so spread out and far away. If you plan on staying here , make sure the golfcart is in running order

Second Stay

This is the second time we have stayed here. LOVE that it is pet friendly! As I reviewed the first visit: Property was great location within the campground. Very comfortable furnishings. Nice golf cart. Price was good for what we got. Would recommend and will definitely stay here again!

Home Away from Home

We'll definitely book this cozy little cottage again for our next visit. Was very clean and felt like home away from home. Ocean Lake Campground is just like a small city and close to restaurants, entertainment and shopping centers. Looking forward to our next visit.

Peaceful home and kind owners

Such a lovely cozy home with a nice size porch and golf cart! My group had 3 adults, 1 toddler and two small dogs and had plenty of room. The two gates on the porch were a HUGE plus for the dogs and toddler. The owner was very kind and responsive with any questions I had and even quickly called to solve a small issue with the front office at check in (issue was not the owners fault). We really enjoyed our stay and plan to rent this house again!

Lighthouse near the Sea

Absolutely lovely cottage with an abundance of amenities. Having the golf cart was a huge plus. Bed was comfortable, house was clean and decorated with lighthouses,which gave a homey feeling. Even our small dog acclimated quickly, which is rare. Overall a wonderful stay. We'll definitely be back.

Nice house and close to the beach

House was nice and close to the beach. Beds were very comfortable. Deck is nice and big. It was nice to go out on the deck and have my coffee in the morning. House was just the right size for 2 adults and child. Golf car was a wonderful addition to the house. We really had a great time.
