Welcome to this newly renovated, 2 bedroom / 1 bath cottage in the heart of Brevard! Walk, Bike and Explore Galore! This lovely cottage is centrally located and within walking distance to all that Brevard has to offer. Brevard City Bike Path will lead you to the nearby Lumberyard District for dining, breweries, shopping and live music (10-minute walk) or downtown to the charming City of Brevard, with numerous shopping and dining options (less than 20-minute walk). Close to Brevard College, too!

Spend the day hiking to waterfalls in Dupont State Forest (less than 20 minute drive) or exploring Asheville and the Biltmore Estate (less than 45 minute drive).

Come back after your adventures and enjoy this cozy, well-appointed cottage with its large yard, nice trees, and excellent location.

- Walking to Morning Social for coffee and a locally sourced, scratch breakfast.

You will also find the Ingles grocery store and Starbucks Coffee conveniently located 3 minutes away by car or about an 8 minute walk!

Also, there are two bike stands for indoor bike storage. The stands hold 20 mm road tires up to 2.25 in. wide and mountain bike tire sizes 20–29 in.

Note that this property has an active security camera located outside at the front entrance of the house which monitors the front porch, front walkways and the driveway and road access. The camera records both video and audio.

It was a beautifully upgraded bungalow that was great for 2 people, very close to the downtown area. Loved the close proximity to the walking and biking trails. The host was pleasant and very accommodating to all request. Would recommend this home if you are staying in Brevard .

We had a great stay at this immaculate property. Beautifully designed and very well equipped. Nice location close to both downtown and the music center. We really couldn't have asked for a better situation.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at “The Bike & Hike”! The house was clean, very well apportioned and comfortable. Travis communicated well and was very prompt, professional and friendly. The home is conveniently located to downtown, the Lumberyard district and the bike path. Pisgah National Forest and DuPont Recreation area are a short drive offering trails to see beautiful waterfalls.

This quaint, older home in the heart of Brevard was just what I was looking for. The interior was remodeled to new style fashions. Kitchen provided everything we needed for cooking, including a bag of ground coffee for guests. It was clean, comfortable, and in a quiet neighborhood. Also provided a launday room. Check in was easy, no problems. For older folks - it was a longer walk then what anticipated, into the downtown social area, but a few minutes away by car. I would definitely recommend this rental home if you're looking for adventure.

We absolutely loved our stay! This charming cottage was the perfect home base for our family of four. It was spotless, beautifully decorated, modern, and stocked with everything we could possibly need. The host was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, and we especially appreciated all of the maps and local recommendations—they made planning our adventures so easy.During our stay we hiked to Moore Cove Falls, splashed around at Sliding Rock, treated ourselves to ice cream at Dolly's Dairy Bar, and our kids had an absolute blast at O.P. Taylor's toy store and the Gem Mine. We even spotted four of Brevard's famous white squirrels at Franklin Park! Brevard is such an adorable town, and coming back to this cozy cottage each evening made the trip even more special.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Brevard area!

Cozy paradise in Brevard. We were here for hiking in April and it was perfect. Spectacularly clean. Responsive owner. Simple check-in. Super comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen. Excellent location. Close to Ingles grocery store and great downtown dining options. Don’t miss The Yard, which has an Airstream coffee and ice cream “Must Visit” venue and is very close to the house. We hope we get a chance to visit Brevard again. Would absolutely stay here the next time.

My college-aged daughter and I stayed here briefly in December. The house was very well organized and thoughtfully laid out with an area to make coffee/ tea and a cozy living room. I appreciated the location very close to the grocery store.

Weekend Getaway

Great property and proximity to things and surrounding cities. My wife and i stayed for a long weekend and had a great time exploring Brevard. Definitely a good property to check out if staying in Brevard.

Beautiful property in Brevard!

We really loved the Brevard Bike and Hike property. It had everything we needed and more! Great location 5 minutes from historic district of Brevard and restaurants and grocery stores. Very clean, upgraded amenities. Would definitely stay there again!

We visit Brevard once or twice each year. This has been our favorite place to stay to date. The location is so convenient to downtown and to Pisgah. The owner did a great job with the decor and functionality of the property as well. It was so comfortable and homey so we could relax after long days of hiking and biking. We just loved it and can’t wait to stay here again! Such a special place.

I am from Fishers, Indiana, and Brevard is my second home. I love mountain biking and hiking in Pisgah National Forest and DuPont State Forest and fly fishing in the local rivers and streams. I also love visiting all of the local breweries and restaurants.

Location, location, location! I bought this property for three primary reasons: 1) great location, walkable to the Lumberyard District and downtown, 2) super close to the Brevard City Bike Path, 3) perfect set up for two couples or a family of four. Being able to ride the the trailheads in Pisgah National Forest or Bracken Preserve is amazing, too! I renovated this property in 2022 and made into a place I can call my second home.
