We love staying at this property. Had to text the owner a few times and she is right on it every time. I highly recommend this property.

This second row house has a great view of the ocean and easy access to the public beach ramp. The upstairs great room is a perfect place for large families and the kitchen has everything you need to eat in. The two porches on the beachside are especially awesome— we spent so much time enjoying the view either in the shade or soaking up the sun. The kids had a blast in the pool and the outside shower turned into our favorite one in the house. The linens being provided made this place super easy. Would definitely stay here again!

The communication with owner was excellent and very responsive. The views from the upper deck were fantastic and the proximity to the beach was accurately described. There are steps to get to the beach so plan accordingly. Pool was nice and there was plenty of seating for all decks. There was an issue with trash being left by the cleaning company which caused more bugs than expected in the home. This was communicated to Julie and she immediately took action and had the pest company come to spray the entire property. We stayed after labor day with a pet (pet fee not mentioned in description) therefore there was limited number of properties available for our needs and may have been a bit expensive but did have a wonderful time and would consider staying here again.

Since the cleaners always take any trash left behind out the front door, that darned bag must have been accidentally left outside by the previous guests, but this was a good reminder to search the outdoor areas for anything left behind. I'm so happy the pest company was able to get right out! I'm sorry about the dog misunderstanding. We try to be super transparent about our pricing. With the dog fee being optional, it is only auto added to your rental if you check the box, "I am traveling with pets". Otherwise it isn't added, which is why we mention it in the "Property Details" and in the "House Rules". I know it can be overwhelming though! If I could think of a better way, I promise I would!! :) We would love an opportunity to host you and your group again!

This home exceeded all expectations. The decks/porches were one of our favorite features, and the layout of the house was perfect for us. So clean, and Julie has covered every detail, even providing things you didn’t know you needed! And she’s so personable and helpful, like a friend you haven’t yet met. Ideal location, near the bridge, but not too close, and you can see the ocean because the house across the street is very low. We’ve already booked next year!

Beautiful well appointed house. Convenient location to beach access. Ocean views from large deck. Clean pool- Very responsive and kind host. Would most definitely stay there again .

Beautiful house

Gorgeous house with great amenities, a 2 minute walk to the beach access, and stunning views from the deck. Julie was so responsive and an incredible host!

The house was absolutely perfect! It checked all of our boxes & was wonderful! The house was huge & very comfortable! The elevator worked fantastic! The pool was a dream! Just the right temperature & we had plenty of privacy! We enjoyed using the grill also! We most definitely will be staying there next year! Thank you allowing us to stay in your fabulous beach house! Great house with great views

Great house with beautiful views! Host was very responsive to our needs. Some of our party said the mattresses in the lower bedrooms weren't as comfortable as they would have liked. The location to the beach was excellent! Thanks Julie for a great stay at your house!

Perfect house for us!

Got it to Gather was a great house for our family of 12. Lots of space. The owner, Julie, was easy to communicate with and took care of any issues quickly. Well stocked kitchen with dinnerware and utensils. Lots of steps at beach access so it was nice to have elevator at house. Nice, quieter neighborhood

Checks all the boxes

We had a wonderful stay here! The layout was perfect for our family that was staying there, as well as having dinner with extended family staying in other houses. The open layout and large tables made it easy for entertaining. My favorite part was the large front deck on the top floor. Plenty of seating options, and a great view and ocean breeze. The home was well stocked with everything we needed. The homeowner was very communicative leading up to the stay and during if we had any questions. The location was great, just a short walk to the public beach access, and a quick golf cart ride or bike ride to the town center. I would definitely stay again!

Perfection!!

I only wish the weather had been as perfect as this beautiful house! Julie has thought of everything, even down to bows on our towels and treats waiting for us upon arrival😁 The outdoor space was our favorite place to hang, but the spacious kitchen was a close second! Thank you Julie for sharing your house!!

Great week in a great house

Everything about this home was amazing! We had plenty of beds and rooms, fully equipped kitchen, great views (we spent LOTS of time on the upper balcony enjoying the surf and breeze). There were tons of linens and towels in this beautiful home as well. We enjoyed the pool and being so close to beach access. OIB is a wonderful family destination - clean, spacious beaches without all the commercial chaos of MB and others. The homeowner, Julie was an excellent host, responding almost immediately to any inquiry. We would love to stay again in this property.

beautiful beach stay - even in a tropical storm

The house is beautiful. It is in an excellent location. Great views from the balcony. Unfortunately our week was crashed by Tropical Storm Debby, however, the host was absolutely wonderful as the storm developed through the week. We had no worries or concerns - she was helpful in every way possible. We ended up riding it out and all was fine. They have a wonderful game/puzzle cabinet that came in handy! Highly recommend!

My family had another amazing time as we stayed at “Got it to Gather” again this year! This was our second year staying there & we absolutely love it! We have already booked for next year as well! The house is so open but yet so private! The kitchen, dining area, family room and outdoor spaces are so open & welcoming but yet the bedrooms are private & provide the relaxation you crave! It’s wonderful that every bedroom, there are five has its own bathroom! Plus there is a 1/2 bath upstairs in the common areas. The host, Julie is phenomenal to work with! She always gets right back to you if you have any questions! The little touches that are for you to use are so very helpful! Their linen service is even helpful by putting your linens & towels in each bedroom so you don’t have to scramble around a big laundry bag for your particular set of linens & towels. They have replaced the two large outside decks with Trex and it is super! No need to worry with splinters or hot surfaces! The outdoor deck furniture is cozy & comfortable! We always enjoy the pool! It’s always super clean and the area around the pool with the outdoor furniture is ample & comfy for all of us! They have a new grill this year as we always enjoy using that when we cook in! The views of the beach/ocean are wonderful & it’s just a short walk to the beach access! I really can’t say enough wonderful things about this property! Got it to Gather provides a dream vacation for all!

Great vacation house

This was our second time staying in this home. The first with Julie. Julie has made a lot of upgrades to the home that makes staying there enjoyable. Navigating the smart TV and streaming services was a little tricky for older members of of group but we managed. Most of our mornings and evenings were spent of the large decks play games, having breakfast or just relaxing. September is perfect here with little crowds and nice temperatures. Thanks Julie for allowing us to stay in your home. We would definitely come back.

Great Week and Overall Awesome House

Pros: Very comfortable, clean, well decorated house. Big kitchen with everything you need. Beautiful big table that seats 10. Top front porch has great view of ocean and lots of comfortable seating. Quick walk to quieter end of the beach. Great pool area. Extra refrigerator and bar refrigerator great. Minor to improve: downstairs queen beds noisy (where frame is attached to headboard). Pool got debris from landscaping quite quickly, even after a cleaning. Ice maker doesn’t work well in kitchen refrigerator and had to fill ice trays and buy ice bags.

Excellent Thanksgiving Getaway

This was our second Thanksgiving in Ocean Isle and this house surpassed our expectations. We were looking for a house to bring our dog who loves the beach as much as we do and Julie's house was an amazing spot. Julie was super communicative and checked in on us and answered any questions we had. This house was super well stocked- from the full sized shampoo bottles and hand soap in the bathrooms, to the spice drawer and well equipped kitchen- it was the best place to have Thanksgiving! Last year we had to run out to the store over and over but Julie's house had it all- including 2 first aid kits and travel mugs for our hot chocolate for the Christmas boat parade. The large porches outside were perfect for sunbathing and the heated pool in November couldn't be nicer. We will definitely be staying here again. Thanksgiving at the beach is my favorite!!

Perfect Beach House Getaway

We had the most incredible stay at this beach home! From the moment we arrived, we were swept away. The house itself is a gem - spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a perfect getaway. The location couldn't have been better. Just steps away from the beach. Inside, the house is a haven of comfort and luxury. The bedrooms are inviting, each offering a peaceful retreat after a day of fun in the sun. The kitchen is well-appointed with modern appliances, making meal preparation a breeze. We especially loved dining on the spacious deck, enjoying the ocean breeze, the sound of the waves crashing, and taking in beautiful sunsets. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and responsive, ensuring that our stay was nothing short of perfect. They provided us with valuable recommendations for local activities and dining options, adding to the overall experience. We cannot recommend this beach house highly enough. We're already planning our next trip back - we can't wait to return to this slice of paradise!

A Great Week at the Beach!

We enjoyed the layout of this property for 8 adults and 3 grandchildren. Kitchen and dining area on the second (top) floor was spacious and well equipped (including a highchair) We especially liked the large porch off the top floor that accommodated all of us to gather with lots of space, including a large table for outside meals and snacks. The pool was good with lots of sun in the afternoon; the soccer tent we brought, however, did provide much needed shade. The bedrooms were spacious and the “Pac N Play” provided by the owners was much appreciated for our youngest grandchild (15 months). Beach access was easy with a short walk. Use of the elevator was a plus, especially for our son-in-law on crutches. In two previous years we stayed south of this property, on Private Dr. off of West 2nd St. This property is on East 2nd St.; our experience was that it was less congested (at least for this year). The owner (Julie) was very good with communication and answering questions. Overall, we highly recommend this property – so much so, we have reserved it for next year!
