We stayed with 3 families which had 4 toddlers. There were plenty of things for the toddlers to do to stay entertained. The place was very clean and tidy. There were plenty of amenities and things to do at the house. The beach is walking distance so no need to rent a golf cart. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again next year.

This house has so many lovely amenities, especially for kids. We loved the arcade and video games and card games they provided. Kitchen is incredibly well stocked with everything to cook with. Hot tub was great since it was cooler out. Location is so convenient to beach access. Would for sure stay here again!

My family really enjoyed themselves, house was very clean loved how every room had a balcony and most bedrooms had beautiful views of the beachwater. Highly recommend for a nice family vacation.

Great place to stay and awesome location close to the beach! The house had everything we needed, and the hosts were very communicative. We appreciated the fully-stocked kitchen, the extra beach towels, and the game room, which served kiddos well. We even asked if the house came with a waffle maker and the hosts had one delivered to the house so we would be sure to have one on hand! Overall, excellent stay, excellent location, and excellent hosts!

Loved our stay at the modern beach house. The house was bright and beautiful. My son loved the game room and I especially loved cooking in the kitchen. What I liked also was that there was not a house directly behind it. The view of the ocean from the porch was beautiful. I would recommend staying here 100%!!

Wonderful home for a long weekend getaway with my family! Great location with glimpses of the ocean and sound. The hosts were more than accommodating, and thought of all of our needs before arriving.

We had a wonderful stay! Sunny was incredibly communicative and always responded quickly, which I truly appreciated. Being able to bring our two smaller dogs made the vacation so much easier, and having a fenced-in yard was perfect for both the dogs and the kids.The house was beautiful, comfortable, and felt very safe and secure. We could see the ocean from the decks and several bedrooms, which was fantastic. Everything was still open at OIB, and we were lucky enough to have amazing weather! We didn’t even need to heat the pool, and the hot tub was perfect for those cooler evenings. The pool toys, beach chairs, floats, and body boards were a great bonus, and having a bathroom right by the pool meant fewer wet footprints running through the house!We were able to check in as soon as the cleaning crew finished. The cleaners had missed a few things, but nothing that took us long to remedy.My only real complaint—and honestly, this seems to be an industry-wide issue—is the cleaning fee combined with the checkout “cleaning crew” responsibilities. For the cleaning fee being charged, I’m not sure I expected to clock in for my second shift before vacation officially ended! We were happy to load the dishwasher, take out trash, lock up, etc., but the list did feel a little ironic after paying a substantial cleaning fee.One other small issue: we arrived before the elevator inspection, and unfortunately the elevator only worked about 50% of the time during our stay.

We loved our stay! The location of the house on the island was perfect—quiet and peaceful, yet very close to beach access. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked, which made our visit even easier.The host was extremely responsive. Any issues were handled immediately, and our questions were answered quickly. We truly appreciated the attentiveness and care throughout our stay.Highly recommend this property!

Some things in the kitchen were not as good as some other places we’ve rented. You need to have at least one bigger pot, at least in my opinion. We wanted to cook spaghetti noodles and didn’t have a large pot. The blender in The cupboard does not work. I think you should provide more than one kitchen towel. Everything else was very good and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Amazing vacation rental

Our group loved this house! It’s beautiful looks just like the pictures, very well stocked. The hosts thought of everything to comfortable beds, plenty of outdoor seating and a very fun pool with a tiki bar. We appreciated the refrigerators on each floor and 2 dishwashers. Short easy walk to two beach accesses and a fun island to visit.

Great House and Amenities

We had a great stay! The house is perfect for an extended family gathering or group of friends. I have stayed in several vacation properties and this one provided more household items than any place I have been. You really only need to bring your own food & beverages.

This house is a very well laid out home for families with great access to the beach. The game room was a hit for grandchildren for non water times. Pool was a great size. Outside seating areas were well appointed with comfy and functional seating. Kitchen was beautiful, functional, and clean. Host was great with communication from the booking through the checkout process…always available and helpful!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this home. Beautiful house that looks exactly like the pictures. We were very thankful that the house was already stocked with everything that we need. Wonderful pool area & a very short walk to the beach. Excellent communication with the home owner which is always a plus. My family & I had a wonderful time staying here & can’t wait to return in the future.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The home was amazing and beautiful in every possible way. It was the perfect setup for our large family gathering, with plenty of space for everyone to spend time together comfortably while also offering enough separate areas for people to spread out and enjoy their own activities.One of the things we appreciated most was the location. Beach access was incredibly easy and convenient, making it simple to go back and forth throughout the day. At the same time, the property offered a level of seclusion and privacy that made it feel like our own special retreat. It was the perfect balance of accessibility and tranquility.There was no shortage of things for the kids to do, which made the trip even more enjoyable for the adults. The downstairs pool and hot tub were fantastic and quickly became favorite gathering spots throughout our stay.The booking process was seamless from start to finish. Communication was effortless, and Sunny and Asha were exceptional hosts. They were responsive, helpful, and went above and beyond to accommodate a few needs that came up after our arrival—even during a holiday weekend.Overall, we had a fantastic experience and made some great family memories. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a beautiful, comfortable, family-friendly place to stay.

Sunny and Asha made our VRBO experience and family vacation hassle free. They were prompt to message back before we booked and even after we booked if we had a question. Their home is absolutely amazing! They have went above and beyond to make sure they are providing a home away from home experience; They had everything and more than expected! The house was very clean and so many fun amenities. The pool and hot tub was so much fun!! The view of the ocean from the pool side balconies were wonderful and the front side balconies were spacious and very enjoyable as well. Very nice property!

We had a wonderful stay in Ocean Isle Beach and this rental had everything we needed to make that possible. The location is fantastic - easy to get to the beach, quiet street off the main road. The house had plenty of space, sleeping options and bathrooms for our family of 13. The decks are huge! The pool and hot tub were clean and such a nice amenity to enjoy at any time of the day. The kitchen was well stocked including a array of spices for cooking, food storage and small appliances. We loved having 2 dishwashers! The owners were great - very accommodating and responsive. Easy to check in and out. I highly recommend staying at this property.

We had the chance to stay here in August of 2025 with our 7 kids. The house truly had everything we needed for relaxation, fun and beach time. The host put a lot of thought into decor and comfort. I appreciated not having to bring beach towels/chairs/umbrellas along. Plus, the pool was loaded with inflatables and activities. Loved the proximity to beach access- not beachfront but SO CLOSE and we could see it from our master balcony!Whenever there was a need or question, the host was extremely attentive to replying and remedying what needed to be taken care of for us. THis was our first time at Ocean Isle and the beach was truly a great experience. Not crowded at all!We loved Lowe's grocery store and had dinner in Calabash and ice cream at the creamery there as well.

Great stay at a great house!

My family and I have vacationed at OIB almost every year for the past 20 years, so we have stayed at quite a few places over the years. This house would be in the running for my favorite one we have stayed at. Great location, very well stocked with just about anything you might need. Kids (and me) enjoyed the game room a lot. The retro system was a blast for someone like me who great up in mall arcades in the 80's. Being able to play all those old arcade classics and also the classic games from all the old home gaming systems was a blast of nostalgia. The foosball table and shuffleboard were also used quite a bit.Elevator was a god send on move in and move out day. Pool and the hot tub were also very nice. Especially having a refrigerator and a bathroom there a the pool. Saved a lot of running back upstairs constantly.The host, Sunny, was great and made sure everything was as expected. Will definitely keep this house on the short list when coming back to OIB again.

The property is very nice. It is well stocked with kitchen items and beach items. The furniture was comfortable and beds nice. The multiple outdoor decks were also nice. There was an issue when we arrived. We had a 8 month baby that likes to crawl on the floor. In 20 minutes his hands and feet were black. The owners were quick to respond and had cleaners come over to fix this. It was nice to have multiple fridges for food and drinks. The grandkids loved the video game and pool. One issue was shower in master bedroom. The water volume is dreadfully low and made it slow to wash soap off. Also the tools to clean gas grill were worn out and the drip pan and heat deflectors were coated with burnt food and grease, however the grates were clean. I cleaned it and it worked good. At first there was only 1 paper towel roll and one kitchen cloth. The cleaners fixed this. A suggestion would be to put dimmers on lights in kitchen. At night trying to watch TV and work in kitchen was not the best. It is close to the beach and the beach was very nice for small kids to play and not crowded. We had 6 adults and 6 kids and there was plenty of room.
