5 Star Luxury Exec Family Home - Covered Hot-Tub, Walk to Village & Ski Lift/AC

This luxury home is located in the Exclusive Big Springs area of Northstar. Can walk down road to the "Home Run" ski-lift which take you up to the Mt and Ritz. It also comes with free shuttle service to the Village and access to the Homeowner's Recreation Center's pool, fitness equipment, game area and courts. This home has an airy spacious feel with many windows and good sun. The house is very clean and is in excellent condition with all new appliances. The extra large covered hot-tub is fun for all after the daily adventure.

It is the perfect family and friends mountain year around getaway. Come enjoy the woodsy setting and contemporary mountain decor. When there is enough snow, you can also ski the fire road home from the 'Home Run' trail.

You can snow-shoe or hike up to the Ritz for lunch and a hot-chocolate. You are sure to enjoy this wonderful mountain home. Walk down to the village for ice-skating, the Northstar Rec Center Arcade or a meal.

The playroom includes a kids play area and numerous games and toys. Extra kids skis and boots are in the garage to use freely, as well as the snowshoes and sleds.

Summer items include umbrellas, towels, rafts, kayaks, SUP, crawdad fishing lines, buckets etc.

Great place for families

We were a group of friends with kids and this place was perfect. Spacious, very well-equipped, and close to the Highlands gondola plus free on-demand shuttle to the village that picks you up at the house. Communication with the host was great, though staying here over MLK, it wasn’t possible to get a minor technical issue in the kitchen resolved promptly — but that wasn’t a huge issue. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay here very much!

Beautiful home with amazing space

The perfect home for families with children. Huge comfy beds and linens and a wonderful kitchen stocked with all the items to cook some fabulous meals. The upstairs was perfect for our children with so much space for them to play. Great communication and so conveniently located in Northstar with a shuttle service for easy skiing.

Mountain Retreat with 3 Generations

The house was perfect for our family. The bedrooms were roomy with plenty of drawers and closet space. Amazing natural light throughout the home. Great playroom where we were also able to set up a work space. The hot tub was a nice bonus. The kitchen was also great. We cooked breakfasts and dinners every day. The location was also great. We were close to downtown Truckee and the Lake, where we enjoyed numerous activities including kayaking, swimming and the adjacent playground.

Perfect for families at Northstar

It is hard to find any faults with this property. It was perfect for two families on a ski vacation. The kitchen was excellent and has everything for cooking large meals for a crowd.

Beautiful home, perfect for multiple families skiing

Hands down the best place we've stayed in Northstar. The home is beautiful with a great kitchen that made preparing meals for our group super easy. The shuttles were super convenient, door to village - and worst case the ski down Home Run + 10 minute walk to the house was really not bad either as an alternative.

Great ski house

This ski house was huge and well maintained. Very comfortable for 3 couples, and could have fit many more (especially kids). The shuttle to and from the mountain is excellent, as was the snow plow service during a winter storm. House has two tvs and games for the days you may get stuck inside. Hosts were very helpful and accommodating. Would recommend.

North Star home gets a gold star

Second time staying here and we had a wonderful time. Location is amazing close to everything. Kid friendly and dog friendly, everyone had a great time. Fully stocked with the best kitchen stuff, everything you need for cooking.

Perfect Northstar House

Wish we stayed longer

Great place for families with kids of any age. Lots of toys and things to keep everyone busy. Northstar is a destination resort with both winter and summer activities and the upscale neighborhood is beautiful. This choice worked out wonderfully for all of us.

Summer in Tahoe

We enjoyed our stay in this spacious home. The kitchen was stocked with all the supplies you could need. Big main room and TV room allowed for us to work during the day in separate areas. We had a great time - thanks for sharing your beautiful home!

Fantastic House for a big group

We had a wonderful time at this home - It's truly a home. Not a house stocked with discount items from Home Goods. The kitchen was well stocked and we fully enjoyed the fireplace. The owners got back to us immediately with any of our questions. We went during the massive snow storms of 2023 so there were no ways to walk to the village unless we wanted to scale a glacier, but it does look close enough to walk if trails are open. Didn't matter though because the Northstar shuttle picks you up right at the end of the driveway. Overall great stay. Would definitley do it again.

Wonderful Home

We had an amazing time staying here! Our family of 8 had plenty of space and thought we could comfortably have more in our group. The house was just as advertised and is well cared for and supplied. The kitchen was great for fixing large family meals. The bedrooms were spacious and beds were very comfortable. There were more than enough sheets and towels for everyone, even special towels to use at the covered hot tub! Deb and Sarge were great hosts and available very quickly when we we had a question. The shuttle service from the house to the village was quick and very convenient. Be sure to download the Northstar Village Transit app to use the shuttle. We hadn’t downloaded it yet and Sarge scheduled a ride for us before I could get the app downloaded. We are already discussing plans to return next year!

Newer and higher-end home near lifts. Can walk down to the village and on a good snow day, ski down to homerun lift. Northstar is a destination resort for all seasons with snow sports in the winter and great hiking and Mt. biking the rest of the year.

We have sleds, snow-shoes, toys, books, games etc for the kids since we have 4 kids, now ages 12-19, who spent a lot of time there since they were 5.
