The home was clean, with a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and a beautiful outdoor sitting area. We enjoyed our stay so much that we reserved the home for next year same time.

Very responsive and helpful host. Such a cute historic home. One well sized king bedroom and two small full sized bedrooms. Very lovely backyard with a nice deck. Close to a shopping center and downtown.

Love this house. We had a fantastic time in this dog friendly home with an incredible history. The owner is incredibly responsive and very kind. 10 out of 10.

Perfect location to all attractions. Quiet and very well stocked with necessities . I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Just was very nice and quick to respond. Loved the old history of the house.

This was a great abode for my family and our small dogs. The yard provided immediate green space, outdoor sitting, and a cottage garden to enjoy. The kitchen and its amenities fit our family well allowing us to cook breakfast. If we felt like a quick walk there were a few local stores nearby for a cup of coffee or some fresh bread. It was a short drive to Pike’s peak and Garden of gods (both should be on your todo if you’re visiting). We had a splendid stay and would not hesitate to stay again if we are in the area.

This centrally located home, features comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, chat worthy porches, a beautiful garden all in a quaint 1890s home. We stayed for a week and loved it! We will stay there again if the opportunity arises.

Best home for our vacation

We absolutely loved this house. It was old, the stairs creaked, the beds were comfy, host was prompt in replying. This home was perfect for our first Colorado vacation. Already looking to book again for our return trip!

This cottage is fabulous! Very clean and comfortable. We loved the back yard sitting area. It was great to have covered parking as well. They really have thought of everything for their guests. Very well stocked. We will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful place to stay! Will book again.

The home was immaculately clean, and had a ton of room for our large family. Our children loved the outdoor space in the garden. The sunroom in the front was perfect for morning coffee. We will definitely book again for our next Colorado vacation.

This was my third time staying here and we just love it! Kitchen is large and well stocked with cooking equipment and dishes. House has that older historic charm and feels like home as soon as you walk in. Backyard is lovely and relaxing, and the house is always clean when we arrive. Rita is wonderful to work with too. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

Rita provided great communication. The Birdhouse was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The house was also conveniently located to all area attractions and was just two blocks away from the Pikes Greenway Trail, a great place to walk our dog every morning. We also appreciated the outdoor patio and garden. I would highly recommend.

Beautiful home, convenient to everything

Our group of four friends gathered to celebrate a bachelorette weekend in this beautiful home. The owner was so kind and thoughtful. She stocked the home with coffee and everything one would need in the kitchen. There were plenty of towels and a washer and dryer. The beds were super comfy and the backyard was lovely. We will definitely stay here again.

Perfect for our family get together

Loved this house! It was perfect for our family to relax and enjoy the area. It’s close to stores, restaurants and parks! The backyard was beautiful and relaxing. Loved that it was all fenced in for our dogs so they could play. The updated kitchen was great. What I really loved was that you could feel the history of the house. I adored the hard wood floors and the vaulted ceilings upstairs. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Blue Bird Cottage

Clean, Charming and Cosy. Very pleased with this rental. We had lots of room to spread out. The teenagers liked the front and back porches. The kitchen was well furnished and big. Beds were great. King bed very comfy. Nice sheets too. Great location for us. We were in Colorado for a sports tournament so after spending all day outdoors it was nice to handout at the cool cottage. Thanks we will be back.

A bit disappointing

The house itself was great, the neighborhood was sketchy, but the disappointing part was cleanliness. I pulled a knife from the stand that looked as if someone used it and put it back without washing and the tub upstairs had dirt and hairs standing on the edge and interior. Hire a better cleaner and you'd be doing yourself a favor.

We had a great stay at this property, it is as listed, nice neighborhood, very clean house and very comfortable. I highly recommend staying here, very reasonable price for such a nice place. If in Colorado Springs again we would want to stay here.
