St.Augustine Condo

We had a great stay in the condo. We enjoyed beautiful sunrise walks on the beach. The pool was very relaxing and enjoyable in the sun.

Perfect Location

Perfect location for all we wanted to do. Home was close to the pool and the beach and close to some of our favorite restaurants and activities. Check in and communication was great. My only small critique would be to upgrade the in house amenities, but would definitely stay there again

Christmas week vacation

We had a great time. House was clean and had what we needed. Beach access was perfect. Close enough to St. Augustine but away from the crazy crowds. Only downside were the twin beds were not very comfortable. Maybe toppers would help.

Beach vacation

The community is great! It is a great location to beach and other activities. The condo has a great location within the community. I did like the condo and this was our second stay at this condo. However, I believe there is some issues with the condo. It has a really bad odor especially around the sinks. The floor around the kitchen is warped and has some soft spots. Other than that we had a great stay.

I’ve stayed in a lot of vacation rentals, but this was the worst. Don’t expect luxuries like a box of tissues, travel size shampoo and conditioner, or a hair dryer in the bathroom. Bring everything! I had to clean the blender before I could use it for a smoothie as it was dripping with food from the previous renter. The deck is full of wood rot, and even if it hadn’t been raining, I wouldn’t use the deck furniture without fear of getting a disease. The cushions were full of rust. I emailed the management company about a hair dryer and was told a work order was put in. Six days later, nothing. We drove from California to stay here, and were extremely disappointed. Not worth the money, even if you can bring your dog!

Sea urchin 39

This property is ideally located, in a quiet compound with easy private access to the beach, we loved it! It has a few issues that need to be addressed 1) The A/C unit cannot keep up with the heat during the day got almost 80 degrees every day, property manager had it checked while we were there, we were told by the A/C man it was it functioning as designed 2) The front porch light did not work, access to the porch was dangerous at night 3) The shower curtain would not stay on the track, 4) garbage disposal did not work, 5) the light over the sink did not work. 6) the kitchen faucet was loose in the sink

Wonderful location of this unit! Ground floor with screened patio, lots of common spaces , great for our dog and, close to pool and beach boardwalk..end unit close to parking. Loved it and will book again.

Location and beds

The location is great, minutes walk to the beach. And the beds are comfy, disregard prior comments about the bed mattresses, they must have been replaced. Screens on the sliding glass doors need to be replaced but other than that it's perfect.

Surf crest Village, St Augustine Beach

We were surprised that so many things were less than desirable about this property. All three doors had definite problems, either not opening or not closing well. Furniture worn, bottom of beds ripped, light bulbs burned out and batteries in remotes missing. I had to call management for help with cockroaches and nothing ever done. Two small tvs, one never worked consistently. Floor was filthy and living room rug smelled of urine. Location was good for beach and good restaurants nearby. Noise from renovation next door. We left days before our time was up. Called management again but no reply.

Not a comfortable stay

The location of the property was amazing...close to lots of things...but the actual property was not the greatest. The beds were so uncomfortable that my husband had to take the cushions off the couch in order to make it semi bearable. My parents suffered in pain from the horrible beds. There were tiny bugs everywhere that bit my mom up and you could also see tiny ants crawling all over the baseboards. The air conditoning never cooled to lower than 74 during the daytime. Not a Happy Anniversary to us!

needed a vaca

It was quaint, we loved the location to the beach. Pictures of pool were deceiving, it was very small. Half the chairs were broken. We did like the washer/dryer in the condo. Bugs were our main issue. Also, update the "new appliance" comment. They are not. Also instructions on pool key and where to place trash on pick up day would be helpful. Door lock needs some adjustment too.

Perfect beach bungalow

This place is awesome. Spacious and clean. Very convenient to pool and a quick stroll to the beach for amazing views of the sunrise. Nice deck and pretty decor inside. We felt right at home from the moment we walked in. We will definitely be back!

Great little cottage with everything we needed

The small cottage was laid out well and had all the amenities we needed. Access to pool & beach were great, proximity to town and shopping was easy. The deck was enjoyable at night when it cooled off. Loved being able to bring the family dog, but a hose outside would have been helpful to rinse sand and salt off of everyone.

Cute little get away!

The property was clean and comfortable. It has everything you need for a short stay. Great use of space and equipped with what is needed for cooking, eating meals and relaxing. Plenty of towels and basic needs. We enjoyed the porch, expect when a few bees came to visit in the hottest part of the day. We had a good time! 8we did not need to communicate with property manager

Maintenance Condition -- A big waste of Money!

Very poor. The location is very nice but the condition of the unit is very poor condition. This is especially true for the deck and outside furniture which was in unsafe and unusable condition. We reported many items after arriving but did not receive any recourse. A request to be moved was ignored. This was a special anniversary for us. Shame on You.

Don’t walk on rusty screws on the deck

Neglected deck, screwheads pop off when you walk on the deck. They’re rusted and sharp, get your tetanus updated if you stay there. Refrigerator door shelves were broken and carefully positioned back in place. One the fridge was stocked, the shelves gave way when the door was opened. Not fun! Then, storage in the fridge was extremely limited. The location was great! The interior of the house was comfortable. Electric ranges are not my favorite.
