Enjoy the beautiful unique view as you sip your morning coffee; and in the evening as the colorful lights shine from the pools and lazy river below. Sandpiper 607 within the Destin West Beach & Bay Resort has the best of both worlds. A short walk will take you to the gulf via the sky walk (beach service from March 1-October 31); or stay bayside to relax by the pools and lazy river. A board walk and fishing pier is available bay side. Exercise room (gulf side), several restaurants, Okaloosa Island fishing pier, and visitor's center are the few of the nearby/walking distance amenities. Situated between Destin and Fort Walton Beach, lots of restaurants and unique shopping close by. It's a great place to make memories with your family and friends!

Book your stay for 8 days or longer, online for February or March 2025 10% reduced rate. For reservations of 20 days or longer, please email to obtain updated rate discounts.

Unit includes main bedroom with king size bed and en suite bath. Other sleeping area is a bunk room with twin beds and a second bath with shower. Sofa makes into a queen size bed or is quite comfy sleeping on as a twin bed. An ottoman offers a more firm sleeping experience, twin size. Beach chairs and umbrella available for our winter guests inside the unit. Fitness center available to guests on gulf side and several walking/biking paths nearby. Beach service "complementary", available from March 1st through October 31st ($45 per day value added).

A lovely condo with a great bay view!!

This is a well equipped condo with a sweeping view of the pools, hot tub and bay. It comes with everything you might need. It's conveniently located on the Miracle Strip with many attractions and restaurants close by. Unfortunately, our booking coincided with the "historic snow storm" and the weather was on the cool side. However, we made the most of it and enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful Fall Break

My family had a wonderful stay during our Fall Break. The condo fit our needs perfectly and the view of the pool and bay were beautiful. Diane was a wonderful host. Very attentive and so kind. The location was better than we anticipated. Loved being right across the street from shops and restaurants. And a short drive into Destin. Definitely recommend this condo and Diane as a host. We hope to be able to return again sometime soon!

Great family vacation spot!

This is our second time staying at Destin West. We love that the kids have multiple pools and the lazy river and well and nearby beach access and that we can cook in our own kitchen. We loved the view from this condo and the included beach service was amazing! We previously stayed on a lower unit that we also enjoyed as it had its own private grill and hot ton- but without the view and beach service. F Great stay in a great condo!

Wonderful Stay!

We had a wonderful time staying a week in this condo. It's beautifully decorated, has everything you could need for a trip to the beach and perfect location to visit the lazy river or walk across the Sky Bridge to the beach. Ms. Diane is quick to communicate and so easy to reach if you need anything at all. We enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again soon!

An amazing trip

This is a beautiful updated condo. We were visiting the area with friends and were able to see a few different condos in the complex and this was by far the nicest. Beautiful complex with everything you need. Thanks for an amazing visit.

Very convenient location and responsive owner

First time staying in Destin & it was for a baseball tourn. Kids loved the lazy river and hot tubs. Parking was very convenient and not crowded at all

Diane was awesome! She was quick to respond and very accommodating. The space was clean when we arrived and exactly what we needed. The pictures are very accurate. We had a blast and will definitely stay here again when we return. Thank you!

Fantastic Condo

Great location! Close to everything! View of bay is so spectacular. We had coffee on the comfortable balcony every morning while enjoying the view. Lazy river, pools and easy beach access as well as many restaurants in walking distance. Hard to beat this slice of heaven!

Best Vacation!

The condo and resort was so much better in person! The pictures really don’t do justice. 3 of us were here for my daughter’s spring break trip. 5 nights and we wanted to stay longer! We never tired of the beach or pools/hot tubs. We used the beach service which was amazing, got front row, and we also used beach chairs from the condo since there were 3 of us. Diane was always text away with any questions. The condo had so many convenient touches that enhanced our stay. We flew in and did not rent a car. Uber was very easy to/from airport as well as a day into Destin for a dolphin cruise. There are 6 restaurants within easy walking distance as well as shops at the boardwalk. We also walked next door to the Tom Thumb gas station for drinks and snacks. We highly recommend this condo and would come back again and again!!

Beautiful, convenient, clean, fun!

Our family of 4 enjoyed this beautifully decorated condo with lovely views of the many bayside pools. It is our second stay at the Destin West facility (first time was on beach side), so we knew the routine of walking the bridge to the beach. For young teens who wish to adventure out on their own at night, this condo is the perfect set up. They can swim in the heated pool, float in the lazy river, and “feel” independent as we keep a watchful eye from the balcony. Condo owner was very responsive, helpful, and handled a small detail very quickly. Other guests were friendly, staff were friendly, and everything was beautifully kept up to date and as clean as pools in resorts can be. Condo was as presented with nice beds, bedding, towels, etc. We liked bringing a folding wagon for beach cooler, beach towels, etc (2 chairs + umbrella come with condo and must be reserved in the morning), paper plates for our last day’s use, Keurig cups, and a white noise machine as the bunk bed hallway/room area did not have a door (which we knew). The white noise allowed the teens to sleep in while we made coffee in the morning. The condo is second to the end and felt quiet and private. We enjoyed having stairs right across from our door (elevator is available as well and was fast as the building is only 7 floors). Several shops and restaurants within walking distance on the beach side. We’ve been in Ft. W during Aug and March, each enjoyable with the many heated pools and hot tubs.

A wonderful stay!

We loved our stay here! We already love this facility but this is the nicest unit we’ve stayed in. Everything was nice, well supplied, and convenient. Everything had a little more thought and attention to detail. And we love the lazy river and convenient location.

Family fun

The grounds and condo are so clean and fresh. The views where amazing .. Short walk to the beach and the beach service was a great add on. We spent alot of time in the pools and beach but the boardwalk was fun with outdoor areas with music and food. Destin strip was only 11 min drive and was also fun to visit. The fish derby was going on that was something to see. We had so much fun and wish our stay was longer.. We are diffently planing on a return trip next year. Great host and condo Thank you so much

Fall Break

Our family of 5 had a great time! It was nice to have a bed for each of the kids (bunks and pullout) and for the kids to have their own bathroom. We all enjoyed the lazy river and hot tubs and of course the beautiful beach. The view from the balcony of the bay was beautiful, as well. It rained the last bit of our trip, so we enjoyed watching movies, made popcorn, played checkers and chess all while listening to the waves.

Perfect weekend getaway!

We flew down from Arkansas for a quick stay during Labor Day & it was perfect! The place was spotless and a great location. We love Destin West & all there is to offer between them and the Island. This place will always hold a spot in our hearts since we got engaged here!! we definitely will be back

We chose this property mostly because of the views, the availability to the gulf, and the many amenities that are walking distance. Also, the proximity to Destin and Fort Walton Beach gives us lots of options for dining, shopping, and other excursions.
