We had a wonderful stay. We had 4 adults and two children. Very child friendly. It was very clean. Any questions I had the host reached out right away. We would definitely stay again.

Negative -senior citizens beds too high, shower too narrow, bench seats for table not safe for seniors. Request for washing sheets n towels n leaving machines on n checking out by 10:00am uncomfortable with don’t leave left on when not home.Positive -no stairs, very clean, location good, n host available. Enjoyed donut puzzle n left a trivia game for kids.

We were a group of 6 in town for a local bike ride. This Beach Escape cottage was in the perfect location...we were able to ride to the official ride start and then take a short walk to the beach to relax afterwards. The cottage was plenty big for the 6 of us to hang out. We decided to cook in both nights and the kitchen was very nicely stocked with everything we needed. The cottage was very clean and in a very quiet neighborhood. We are already talking about staying again next year! Our host, Maryeva, was easy to communicate with and gave easy to follow instructions about check in/out and the linen policy.

This is the perfect beach cottage for Cape May/Villas. The house was immaculate and charming and very well supplied. Lovely back deck for meals and lounging. Great and well-stocked kitchen and laundry room! Beach towels, badges and chairs supplied. Plenty of games and beach reads. The Host is an excellent communicator. There are brand-new beautiful free public pickleball courts within walking distance. This is a very quiet area near the bay and just perfect for families.

I absolutely loved the location close to the bay and the beautiful sunset. About a 15 minute drive to downtown Cape May. It was perfect for my family. The hostess was extremely helpful and understanding and quick to respond. We had a great time. I would definitely rent again.

Great house and yard in quiet neighborhood less than half mile from a beautiful, quiet beach (spectacular sunsets)! The house was well stocked with everything you need and the host, Maryeva, was very responsive to all messages. There is a very helpful binder at the house with information about what is in the area, both walkable from the house as well as in surrounding towns like Cape May, Wildwood, etc. which are within a short drive. A couple of drawers in the bathroom had hair in them but other than that the house was perfectly clean. We had an issue with the outdoor shower (very handy for rinsing off the sand from the beach) and Maryeva and Brian responded quickly, stopped by the house, and sent a plumber out to fix it. My only suggestion would be to maybe switch the curtains in the TV room as the sheer curtain is on the window close to the neighboring house. So thankful and pleased that we found this gem of a place. Thank you so much Maryeva! I would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at this home was great. It was close to downtown, the grocery store, gas station, drugstores, and churches. The house was very well maintained and very clean. Had a wonderful stay.

We had a wonderful time celebrating my mother's 84th birthday. A lovely, clean, well stocked home close to the water and super quiet neighborhood. Just a great location for a get away!

Family Vacation

We had a very nice stay as an extended family. The home provided all the amenities we were looking for during our week long stay. We enjoyed the quietness of the neighborhood and short walk to the bay for sunsets.

We had an enjoyable stay at Bay Escape! The house was super clean and very nicely appointed. Neighborhood was nice as were the neighbors. We love Cape May and spent a good bit of time there, but also explored the Villas. Would definitely consider returning!

Perfect for a small family

The house is as described in a quieter neighborhood only a 10min walk to the water. The communication with the host was excellent. I’d definitely stay here again.

Excellent Bayside Retreat

Was a wonderful stay and we would definitely book here again! The property manager was helpful and responsive. The house was beautiful and fully loaded. Close walk to bayside beach and a short drive to Wildwood and other great spots!

Great place w/spectacular sunsets!

Well stocked house with wonderful owners who are attentive. Neighborhood is walkable, friendly and quiet. Beach is a close walk. Great local restaurants and ice cream shops. Cape May and Wildwood are short drives.

Very clean with updated appliances, effective air conditioning, ample space for cooking and eating. Large back deck chairs, cushions, umbrella, beach chairs, towels, literally everything one would need for a fabulous vacation in the greater Cape May area. Maryeva, the host, was accommodating, professional, and quick to respond to questions.

We had a wonderful stay at this home. Everything is incredibly clean and comfortable. Quiet neighborhood, close to everything and a short walk to the beach down the road. Check in was a breeze. The owner is very responsive and house rules/tips are easily accessible. Everything is labeled in the house (light switches, etc) We would definitely recommend and come back!

I agree with a lot of these reviews (good and not good.) The bathroom off the kitchen is TINY. The shower is very, very small, but the water pressure and removable head absolutely helps! There is no door separating the larger bathroom from the Master Bed, so if you do need to use the larger shower, you can do so if someone isn't sleeping or dressing in the bedroom. We had to share - no way that bedroom could be used only by the occupant of that room because there were five (supposed to be six of us!)The house was SUUUUPER CLEAN! When we walked in, it was nice and cool, which was a welcomed first impression. The couches are VERY comfortable, but all of the guests could not all fit on the couch, because there are only one in each room, which there wasn't room to fit two couches anyway. It just left for awkward seating. There are single seats, allowing everyone to gather in the same room, but it feels like someone is getting "stuck" sitting there.The kitchen was nicely stocked. I just came from another property where it lacked basic things like a frying pan. This property even had a potato peeler! The host laid out the pots ahead of time just so I could see what was there. The host was very accommodating with my silly questions.The pictures definitely make it look bigger, but overall, we had an amazing stay and we were very happy with it!
