Very clean home with everything you need as a base for exploring the area. Communications were outstanding and the check-in/out process was easy and seamless. They hosted our two Jack Russels too, which sealed the deal for us.

Great location near Baxter State Park. Nice kitchen area with big table to sit around. Big shower. Tight for 6, but we made it work. Thanks for the accommodations.

Was great for a two night stay while family was down the road. Awesome that it was pet friendly and had everything we needed. Very close to everything and even though it was under some construction/updating we had everything we needed. Cozy living room-and modern kitchen made it comfortable. Has a very nice covered back porch. Wouldn’t say it’s sleeps 8 more like 5 max unless due to construction it holds more. Would consider staying again. Keep going with the updates

GREAT WEEK OF SNOWMOBILING

Great stay!!!! Big parking lot out back for trucks and snowmobile trailers. Trail just down the street that leads to Katahdin General Store for fuel. Worked just as we needed for our week long snowmobile trip.

Stay at house

The house was nicely cleaned and prepared for us. There was a nice book that gave specific information which was very helpfil. I would rent it again.

Thank you for sharing your cabin!

Perfect place for our visit to Baxter State Park. Enjoyed our stay. It was fine for us, but listing noted that each room had a full size and twin. One had a full and twin, one two twins. Just be alert when booking! Lots of room to spread out; enjoyed the John Ford memoirs!

It was fine for what we needed, we needed a place to sleep for a couple of days while we attended a nearby wedding. It was pet friendly, my wife liked the living room and the kitchen some parts looked like they were being remodeled. My son and me got to watch the football game on their big screen tv. ( all good )

Cozy and convenient

The property was a convenient location for activities we had booked in the area and we enjoyed our stay. The property is currently undergoing upgrades so while some things weren't quite finished, trim etc., none of it impacted our ability to stay in the home. The kitchen has been updated nicely and I'm sure the property will continue to improve based on that design and work in there. It should be noted that there were no tools or materials left out and everything was 100% safe.

Easy location for a visit to Baxter

We came to explore Baxter St. Park and the location of this property made it easy to do that as it's about 25 min drive to the south gate. The owner of the property was helpful and allowed us to check in a couple hours early, and helped with a minor heating issue with a prompt response. The property itself was large and comfortable. The kitchen/dinning room in particular were very spacious and nice. On the down side, the walk-in shower was filled with the owner's personal products, there were bits of hair stuck to the side, and no new soap was provided. The liquid hand soap at the sink was also empty. The refrigerator was similarly about half-filled with the owners food. The only coffee maker was a Keurig, and no pods we're provided for it. We had brought some so it didn't matter, but future renters should also come prepared. The property appears to be fairly new to the Vrbo market and is in the process of being remodeled. These minor issues listed above will likely be resolved for future renters.
