This house was perfect for a weekend and hiking at Baxter State Park. The host was incredibly communicative and kind. It’s located across from a grassy Park which if you have a dog is very helpful. It’s a quiet neighborhood. Terrific place.

The property was perfect for our travel purposes. We walked to town to eat and enjoyed the quiet neighborhood ! The home is older but well maintained. It does need a new back screen door. We were happy with the accommodations.

House was very clean! Water pressure was also good (but showers are small). Plenty of coffee and tea. Location is perfect- short walk to downtown and Katahdin General Store. Overall a very charming house and a perfect launch point to visiting Baxter state park.

Charming & clean

Loved our stay at this charming home. Comfortably accommodated our 2 families for the weekend. Was clean and well setup with all the necessities and then some. Kitchen was well stocked to be able to make our own meals and plenty of space for everyone to hang out. Beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay here again in the future.
