Cozy cabin with great view!

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay! The location was wonderful with a great view of grandfather mtn. The cabin was very cozy and fit the 6 of us comfortably.

Perfect getaway!

Enjoyed our time immensely! The hot tub and views were perfect! Got to watch it snow from the comfort of the porch!

Comfortable with great outdoor space

We had a wonderful stay. Great porch for hanging out day and night. Really enjoyed the hot tub. The cabin has everything you need and is conveniently located close to many of the High Countries best attractions.

Nice retreat with a egually nice view

We had a great time staying at this home with a nice view of Grandfather Mountain. It is minutes drive to most attractions. We also enjoyed birdwatching from the deck set amongst the trees.

Mountain getaway

We loved this stay. The host was very helpful and the cabin was im great shape & very clean. We had a minor plumbing issue and it was fixed by the time we got back to the cabin for the night. Cabin had everything my family needed to enjoy our little getaway. Great location and views from porch.,

Family getaway

Perfect location for hiking Grandfather Mtn which was our main purpose Weather held out for us🙌 House was nice & cozy for the 6 of us Enjoyed the hot tub after a long day on the trail Spent the next day hiking Linville Falls & Rough Ridge went out to Boone after

Cabin smelled musky /mildew. Lots of dust around base boards. Bathrooms were nice. The master bathroom fan switch was faulty. Hot tub had way too much chlorine. Floors creaked with every step. Outside pathways and around the fire pit had not been trimmed. Lots of poison oak.Main Air conditioning would not cool below 74F. There was a small but good view of Grand Fathers mountain. Paid way to much for this cabin.

Perfect cabin getaway

The cabin was well-stocked. The location was exactly what we had hoped. Our young children and teens got to enjoy the snow! We had the best of worlds with the cozy cabin and the proximity. Our only issue as hot tub chemicals were very strong. Overall a great stay!had raw skin.us had raw skin Otherwsiw

Weekend trip

Inside of the cabin is stunning and a great layout. It was very clean when we got there and had everything we needed. The driveway is very tight so be aware if you have a large vehicle it's tight to turn around. The bed is memory foam and you have an option of a beautiful room with a queen which I wish had the king because it is a great room and a king in the very back, also a nice room but that front queen really is lovely.

Details Matter

The house was very nice, and comfortable. We would consider staying again. But… the window sills need cleaning (especially over kitchen sink. The shower in primary bedroom needs more water pressure. And, the view of Grandfather (himself) is becoming blocked by tree growth more than website depictions.

Did the trick, not amazing

The cabin was did the trick for a weekend stay, but the listing made it look MUCH nicer than it actually was. Bathrooms felt grungy and the drive up was very steep and road was unpaved. Fire pit and backyard area were unusable. We were planning on doing s’mores, etc but didn’t have any desire to go back there. Place was clean-ish, but felt like they could give it more attention especially the outdoor areas. No laundry either from what I could see?? Check in process was easy and it’s a good proximity to Boone and banner elk. But nothing special. Probably wouldn’t book again.
