The name itself effectively describes this house, which is beautiful and specious, with a huge kitchen, separate dining room and serene multi-level outdoor entertaining space. It is a diamond in this small town, with a short driving proximity to downtown, Redwood state park, wineries, and Russian river beach.

Great house for a group trip

Great, clean, nice house, kitchen is very well stocked with tools and dishes for plenty of people.

Wonderfully roomy home

We enjoyed the large, roomy premises for our meals in the dining room and family get togethers in the living room. The variety in size of the bedrooms and beds was perfect for our needs.

Amazing Location for a Big Group

Cannot sat enough good things about this home. Clean and organized with a well equipped kitchen and plenty of communal space

This large house served our needs perfectly as we had 10 family Members celebrate Christmas.

The living room was large and comfortable, the dining room held 10 of us easily, the kitchen was well equipped for cooking.

family vacation

we created somw great family memories at the house. enough rooms and bedding and a well-appointed kitchen. wish it was a bit more appointed for younger kids, and going down to the river.

Family wedding.

Family wedding. We also rented the house next door. Kids and adults totaled 20. The rentals and location were perfect. It was a great experience. Incidentally 1 kitchen cabinet door had a loose hinge.

Sweet jewel of a home

Clean, comfortable, lots of towels, comfy beds, decently appointed kitchen. Our only constructive feedback is regarding the hot tub. We really wanted to use it but the chemicals were not right, the water was green and after the first day the water was no longer heating.

Hello Tanya, We are sorry to hear you had issues with the hot tub during your stay. The water is clean, it just appears very green due to the interaction the Bromine has with the minerals from the well water onsite. The spa service person has assured us on many occasions it is balanced and sanitary. We can always be reached for any questions or concerns during your stay. Villa Tranquilla

While we enjoyed out stay, the house was not as nice as the photos. The bedrooms were fine (we wanted 5 BRs), but the house is a bit more 'tired' than it appears and the layout is bizarre. The hot tub (which was a draw) was not inviting; the water had an eery green tint and the smell of chemicals was overwhelming. The BBQ worked fine, but the oven was very slow to heat up and never reached over 400F - despite setting at 475. The neighborhood is quiet, but there is basically a junkyard across the street. Overall, 3 out of 5 stars.

Hello Peter, Thank you for your review! We are sorry you felt the home was not as nice as the photos. We offer guests an option to preview the property before a stay in case it may not be a good fit, or the right layout for the group. Our staff members are always happy to answer any questions guest have during their stay and help if there is any issue. The hot tub as mentioned in the guest portal -all guests have access to login via the email- that is clean, serviced weekly, and its normal color. The greenish color happens from the chemical bromine (keeps the tub sanitary) reacts with the minerals in the water here. We are surprised to hear about the oven and will have our maintenance team check on it. Communication with guests is important to us, especially if they need a little more time to gather their things, or have any questions or concerns. We would love the opportunity to host you again at another home.

Beautiful property. Be prepared to drive up winding narrow streets. Extensive spice rack. Comfortable beds. TV in large downstairs bedroom didnt work. Also motion sensitive light in downstairs bathroom kept going off after about 2 minutes.

Great time, cute house, some maintenance could make it even better

The property was very cute and well appointed. There was no needs unmet. Beautiful scenery. The layout of the house left a little to desire ... bathrooms were a bit of a challenge. It's time for a little maintenance too on screens, outdoor furniture, etc. While it's close to town ... don't be fooled ... it's hike. Overall, a fabulous stay.

A beautiful, well-equipped property. We found it so delightful that we cancelled plans to venture out and spent our time sharing memories made over 60 years ago and cooking in the lovely kitchen. Enjoyed by all.

Wonderful stay April 2019

My group of 11 friends just finished an 8 day stay in villa tranquila and I cannot stress how perfect the home was for our group of 4 couples and 3 individuals. We had to call the emergency line for the management company on two occasions for assistance with the outdoor grill and a malfunctioning house alarm. Assistance was quick and effective and much appreciated. Thanks for facilitating our stay at this wonderful home!

Beautiful House and Spacious Grounds!

We stayed with our daughters and their families for a long weekend. We had our own spaces and plenty of room. The kitchen was well-equipped and had plenty of workspace. We spent much of our time outdoors in the many delightful spots around the yard -picnic tables, hot tub, rocking chairs, porch swing, fire ring... We loved it and would definitely stay here again!

Hilltop mountain home

Our extended family of 10 truly enjoyed our escape to the Russian River. This lovely hilltop home was well appointed for our group. We especially enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, and viewing the gorgeous night sky from the hot tub and back yard fire pit. Great location to stroll into town for morning coffee, browsing the stores or to walk over the Guerenville bridge. Rooms were clean and comfortable except the upstairs king bedroom which had a very saggy mattress that needs to be replaced. We look forward to returning to this house for a future stay!

Spacious house

The house very comfortable. We were 7 adults, a preschooler and an infant and the bedrooms were perfect for us. The kitchen is well-equipped and large enough for multiple cooks. We would definitely consider returning another time.

Great house for large parties

Great house. More than enough room for our party of 12. The backyard was great, especially with the hot tub and grill outside. The house is clean and well stocked with spices, pots, and pans. Our party went floating on the river and easily walked the ~0.5 miles back to the house from Johnson's beach. We would definitely come back!

Russian River Jazz/Blues Festival

We had 10 people attending the Russian River Jazz/Blues Festival and needed a comfortable house to accommodate everyone for 4 days. The house was perfect and had enough room for everyone. The backyard was wonderful. We would definitely recommend this house and we will be booking again.
