La Mirage Condominiums Condo 223 is a two-bedroom, two-bath vacation rental in Port Aransas!

This unit has a fully equipped kitchen that opens to the living room, and a dining table awaits with seating for 6.
The living room has a flat screen TV and comfortable seating for your whole group. There is a king-size bed in the master bedroom with a private ensuite master bathroom. The second bedroom has two twin beds. This spacious condo sleeps 4 and has a washer/dryer in the unit available for guest use.
The large private patio is a wonderful place to enjoy your morning coffee!

Stay Review

Nice location. Pools were nice and clean. Great access to beach. Suggest owner put black out curtains in room with twin beds. There is a very bright light coming in the window at night.

Overall good. rooms could use some upgrades. One tv did not work, and a ceiling fan could not be turned off. Great location, short walk to beach. Grandkids enjoyed beach and pools.

Summer

Good location, easy walk to the beach. Property was okay, definitely needs some updates, but great if you just wanted to go to the beach. Our condo was a good location, nice outside pattio and partial view of the ocean. It was very quiet. Kitchen was well stocked. Had everything we needed for a great family weekend away.

Beautiful condo!

We stayed at this property for 3 nights during our family beach trip. Upon arriving, we fell in love with the condo. It was very clean and well kept, and the location was perfect - very close walk to the beach, not too far from downtiwn Port A, and a close drive to Corpus. The view from the balcony was amazing (my favorite part), could see the ocean and hear the waves, and the pool was a big hit with our kids. Highly recommend this property and host, we really enjoyed it! Thank you for making our trip special!

Unresponsive

Host was completely unresponsive. Did not receive check in instructions. Reached out several times for support and with questions regarding check in and did not receive a response. Traveled from out of town and this made for an extremely uneasy trip not knowing how to access the unit or if I would have access. Also let them know I received an error with registration and asked for confirmation it was completed and did not hear back about that either.

Labor Day getaway

We arrived about 1.5 hours before checkin and were allowed in the property which was nice. We had reached out upon booking and again before arriving to see if we could get an early check in with zero response. When we walked in, there was plenty of room but kind of a musty smell to the place. The patio door wasn’t secured leaving gapes in the seal. We walked around and picked up dead roaches around the rooms. There were two more that we saw upon check out in the master bedroom. Ants also trailed in and were on the couch and bed. The walls had stains of unknown sources. Bathrooms were small and dank. Unfortunately a storm rolled through and electricity was out from about 2:30 am-9:15 am on Monday morning. The fire alarms for the halls were going off periodically which was unsettling at times. We loved the pool area and boardwalk to the beach. Overall, not what we thought and would likely not stay again.

Thank you for your review. I do apologize that you felt as if you were being ignored. That was a very busy weekend for us but still no excuse to not respond. I do apologize. Our units are treated by an outside licensed commercial company on a regular basis. If you were experiencing issues, always remember to call the front desk. Unfortunately there was a bad storm that did knock the power out to several areas of Port A. Staff was on site to help and assist guest with their luggage and such during their check-out. We do apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused you.

Overall the stay was good. Location and access to the beach was great. The 2 pools were nice. The unit itself was outdated and could use some updates. The pictures made it appear more updated than it was. My husband is 6’3 and couldn’t fit in the shower and the toilet was tiny. The ac was super loud in the master and there’s a horrific light outside the guest room making it super bright and hard to sleep. We put towels up to block the light.
