Our Condo: The Hawaiian Inn has long been a family favorite in Daytona Beach. Hawaiian Inn is a kitchy – tropical resort that gives you a taste of Polynesian flare on Daytona Beach !! You will love our 1 bedroom - with a great beach view. As you walk into the bedroom, you will understand. This is a 4th floor oceanfront condo that easily sleeps a family of 6, with plenty of room for everyone. This is the largest floor plan at the Hawaiian Inn and 6-7 people can comfortably enjoy a stay in this roomy condo. This condo is 850 sq ft and all rooms are large.
This unit also has a washer and dryer in the unit.
LARGE Oceanfront Balcony, (approx 15 x 7) – perfect for enjoying the sunrise or watching the waves roll in on a breezy day. Equipped with a pub height table with 2 chairs and 2 additional nylon strapped chairs on the balcony. You will truly enjoy the view from your private, oceanfront balcony as you watch the dolphin playing in the early morning sunrise!
LARGE Open Concept Floorplan – view of the ocean from just about everywhere in this unit. Living room with sofa sleeper, Large – flat screen Smart TV with cable. Dining table with 6 chairs, Eat at Kitchen counter top with 4 barstools. Kitchen with full sized appliances – full sized refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and stove/oven – also fully stocked with pots and pans, dishes, bowls, glassware, coffee mugs, silverware, cooking utensils.
LARGE Bedroom with 2 KING beds a second TV When you walk into the bedroom you will be treated to a million dollar view of the ocean from your porthole window. The Million Dollar View will remind you why you are here !!
There is also a washer - dryer in this unit…. Recently updated. We can only provide parking for 1 vehicle.

Beautiful view

The unit was true to the listing details. Overall I would book this condo again. I loved the fact it had 2 king size beds. Lots of room. Loved the full size kitchen with full size appliances, easily cook. The view was to die for, the beach was right there.

AC not working properly

Ok place, spacious and nice balcony view! Just smelled musty and it was warm in the entire place. We stayed busy emptying the dehumidifiers, which took a lot of our enjoyment away. The owner did provide us with 3 portable ac/fan units (after our first night) bc we complained. They helped a little, but then I was just changing out the ice packs and messing with those as well. Patio furniture could be updated. Kitchen was nice and well stocked! Bathroom was fine. Would stay again if air conditioning was working as it should.

Too hot to be comfortable

This place was not decorated. Did not seem to have much love thrown into the place. There was left clothes in dressers from other tenants that was not cleaned up. There was used cleaning paper towels left on the kitchen stove, there was trash underneath the beds, the humidity in that room was awful and suffocating. The 3 humidifiers did not make a difference or help the situation. The A/C barely worked and it was really hot in the bedroom. Could barely sleep especially for the kids. The water in the entire place was one temp never got cold and never got hot for showers, The bath drain was broke so could only take showers, The furniture needs updated as a lot seemed broke or ran down. We ended up leaving a day early as we could not stand being hot and sticky while trying to relax in our room. We did call the owner to let her know she was aware of a lot of these things but didn’t really seem to care as it seemed like little things to her. Would not stay here again. Now as far as the hotel Hawaiian inn I have stayed here most of my stays for Florida I love the hotel the pool is nice the access to the beach is nice and I like the location as it’s near the bored walk and things to do. But because of the hurricane alot of things for the hotel was shut down like the heated pool, the kiddie pool and the restaurant inside. So that was a bit of a bummer since it was all advertised as opened. Will not stay at this condo again or with any by this owner.

The view was amazing from the balcony. The room was clean but humid. They had 3 dehumidifiers in the rooms. They didn't seem to help much. The room needs an update. They say it's the hawaiian vibe. I've been to Hawaii, it needs an update. The building it's self is in desperate need of a paint job. The owner replied to questions pretty quickly. She was easy to work with. The tiki bar is not owned by the condo association. There seems to be an issue there. The tili bar wants to open tge bar and pool to the public. That seems to be still up in the air. I personally wouldn't stay there again. To many other choices.

This is a very comfortable unit with everything you could need to have an enjoyable stay. From the full size kitchen to the comfortable beds, you couldn't ask for a better unit. The view was amazing, and it was nice to see all the work being done around the property.

Amazing view and plenty of room!

This is our third summer at the Hawaiian. I’m only reviewing this room…which was fantastic for our purposes! Plenty of room, everything we needed. I loved the location on the end of the building…We did not want to overlook the reconstruction of the pool, just the ocean, and that’s what we got! The bathroom was great, plenty of storage in the bedroom, nice kitchen. Yes there were three dehumidifiers running nonstop, but I would rather have had them than not! We were easily pulling 10 gallons of water a day. We did not mind having to empty them nor did we feel as if we had to work on vacation. It was for our comfort! There were no cushions on the outdoor furniture but a text to the owner remedied that, she brought us some. Overall a great condo for what we needed!

Beautiful oceanfront view. Great location. However, furnitures need to be upgraded.. Manager was great. She answered our call at midnight because we couldn’t get into our place. 😍

Easy to find

Other than having to chase down 3 different maintenance guys to get the door fixed where it would lock because the battery's where dead and the fact that the balcony door DOES NOT LOCK DUE TO BROKE LATCH other than that it was a nice ocean view very clean and a good place to take kids because most of the partying people are down the Beach aways

Spacious Oceanfront!

The unit was very spacious with beautiful oceanfront views from the livingroom. 2 King beds in the large bedroom with 2 dressers and closet. It needs a little fixing here and there. Mostly with A/C and no cold water in the kitchen. Changing the 2 dehumidifiers every couple of hours was inconvenient, but overall a nice unit with laundry, kitchen and plenty of room to accommodate 6 people comfortably.

Best view and value

Such a great location and you cannot get a better view! The unit is clean, kitchen is stocked. Some older features about this unit, but nothing that made us regret our stay. Can tell some remodeling has been done. Smooth check in. Renata is great with communication. Safe community. The pool is huge and the tiki bar is great! We met several families who have been coming to this property for years. We will be back.

Property manager needs to have a better costumer service

The location was great. The place was clean and a really big space for our family of four. They have a BIG problem of humidity in there. Rusty appliances in the kitchen and the floor alway wet for big problem of humidity. SO LOUD humidifier that don’t help a lot. If something doesn’t work properly don’t ask for help cause the manager will complain she work a lot and live in different state so she can do that much. Don’t rent this place, specially if you have kids or you have health problems.

Amazing view

The condo was very spacious with basically a glass wall looking at the ocean. The property owner has furnished the place with very comfortable beds and sofas and really seems to care about the place. It is an old resort built in the 60's and there are things that show it. Taking a shower was challenging because of the water continually changing from cold to hot. I told the property owner about this and a couple of other things that I thought would improve the condo and she was very receptive to the suggestions and plans to fix everything. I would have rated the condo 5 stars except for the shower. I definitely would go back.
