Come and relax at RETREAT ON THE RIDGE, a newly furnished and decorated top floor corner condo with 180-degree breathtaking layered views in the upscale Echota neighborhood. A 3-bedroom, 2-bath home with remodeled kitchen is just what you are looking for in your next vacation getaway. Nestled in the hills above Foscoe, this hidden gem sits in a peaceful gated community with swimming pools, hot tub, and fitness center. Come escape to our mountain retreat and explore the High Country any season!

This condo has a spacious deck with a comfortable vibe and did we mention the views? The private deck is accessible from the large master king bedroom or the main living space. The open concept living area has cozy seating facing the fireplace and the majestic mountain views. The queen bedroom and second bathroom can double as a private suite.

Guests can journey to the upstairs loft and utilize as a lounge for movie or game night. The loft easily converts to the third bedroom with two twin beds. In the summer months walk to the clubhouse with hot tub, pool and fitness center. In the winter months a drive down to the indoor pool and hot tub can be a real treat!

Located in the center of the High Country, a short drive will take you to shopping, restaurants, skiing, hiking and all the area attractions in Banner Elk, Blowing Rock, Boone, Sugar Mountain (9 miles) and Beech Mountain (16 miles). Plus, Echota boasts a private, 25-acre, riverside park with a picnic pavilion and grill on the Watauga River, fishing ponds, and miles of hiking and walking trails for guests to enjoy. Everything you need is right here for a "Retreat on the Ridge"!

We had a wonderful stay at this Banner Elk condo! The condo was clean, comfortable, and very well equipped with everything we needed. We especially loved the beautiful views, the selection of board games for family time, and the community pool. It was a great place to relax and enjoy the area, and we would definitely stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this beautiful home during our daughters' graduation from App State. The view is stunning. The home is spacious and worked perfectly for what we needed. The community amenities are wonderful - I wish we had more time to really enjoy all the amenities. The rhododendrons were blooming beautifully! We will be back!

Beautiful views and functional two bedrooms plus loft. Kitchen was adequate but could use a few more bath towels. Also, a few luggage racks and a hook on the back of bath door would be helpful. A bath safety handle bar would help since both baths have tubs and have big step in (especially for those of us close to 70). Overall, great updated unit with awesome views! Around 9:00 pm the fireflies come out during the summer and are so beautiful.

I appreciated the host’s communication, always available for any questions. The condo was super clean, comfortable, quiet, and equipped. Since I was traveling alone, I appreciated that the condo was in a gated community and was close to so many places to see and visit. The view is wonderful!

Wonderful fall weekend

Our stay at the condo was relaxing, comfortable and not long enough! My family enjoyed the deck and views of the fall mountains. The condo was accommodating to all our needs and we look forward to staying here again in the future.

All around enjoyable stay

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful condo. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable furniture, a relaxing covered balcony with an outstanding view. The neighborhood was quiet. Easy parking right in front. Appreciated the host with great communication skills!! Hope to return!

Relaxing Retreat

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely unit! The view is incredible, the location just right and it is spotlessly clean. Jerome, the host, responded right away and followed through when I contacted him. As someone who also owns a vacation rental, I have high expectations when I travel, and they were exceeded at Retreat on the Ridge - we look forward to returning!

Mountain Getaway

I would give this overall 5 star, but the property had not been cleaned when we arrived. Communication with the owner resolved the matter within an hour. Property itself is wonderful. Fantastic Mountain View’s. Well appointed and comfortable. Great location with many attractions, restaurants, and activities nearby.

We enjoyed our stay and hope to return again next year! The unit is well stocked and the location is great - close to Banner Elk, Boone and Blowing Rock. The views are incredible, be sure to catch the sunrises. Enjoyed the pool in the afternoon after exploring. Highly recommend visiting Grandfathers Mountain. Communication was great, very quick to reply during the booking process and during our stay. Easy checkin. Great neighborhood.

They love hosting families in this beautiful area and helping them create magical memories.
