Our mountain house has 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, and a romantic free standing stove, comfortable beds. It has a spectacular view and is 5 minutes from downtown Boone, gated community. Wireless internet and cable with movie channels. The kitchen is fully stocked with all items needed to make you feel at home. It has a washer and dryer for your laundry needs and air condition. The neighborhood is gated great place to walk with nature, mountain views, and a pond.

Great Little Getaway

Property was as advertised. House was very clean. Nice view of the mountains. House is close to attractions in and around Boone, NC. We would stay there again.

Went for 2 nights for my son's college orientation. House was private, clean and convenient to App. Beautiful sunrise and sunset from back deck . Hope to visit again.

Everything was great. The property was clean great view great amenities. Could use some improvement on the road to the property, especially in the snow.

Incredible views

This sweet house has the most incredible views! The house was very clean and had everything we needed for a cozy stay during a cold week. Hosts were very easy to deal with and check in was a breeze. The views are breathtaking.

Beautiful Mountain Views

We loved staying in this mountain treasure. The views from the back deck were mesmerizing. It was our favorite place to be. We plan on returning to this little jewel.

Comfy and Cozy with an Amazing View!!

This was such a comfortable and cozy cabin to stay at with my family for Spring Break!! The views were so beautiful and it had everything we needed for the week! The beds were soft, the shower was hot, the old stove kept the cabin warm on cold days, and it was just a beautiful little cabin near everything that we wanted to see and do in Boone and the surrounding areas. Thank you so much for a wonderful week with my family!!

Amazing View

This was our second time staying here. We love the mountains and you can not beat the view from the deck (and bedroom)! Robin was great to work with. The home was clean, bright, and airy, a perfect place to stay for a few days! Only wish it was longer!

Love love love this Property!! The Views are Amazing!!

This is the second year we have stayed at this awesome place!!! You could watch the ever changing unobstructed views of over seven different mountain ranges for hours and still be in awe of the beauty. The property had everything we could need as a family of three. We saw deer daily walking around. Minutes from Boone, skiing, tubing, Tweetsie, and all other attractions. I’ve already booked for next year and cannot wait for another visit.

I cant imagine a more perfect Mountain Retreat.

The Views are #1 for our memories. The home is well equipped for great meals & comfortable resting. The air-conditioning worked great. The kitchen is much bigger than the photos showed. We used the grill on the deck for a wonderful steak dinner. I enjoyed birds singing & chipmonks scampering around. But again, the view!! It was so lovely to have coffee on the deck on a cool June morning. I hope I am able to visit again. Secluded & makes you feel like there are no other humans around.

Amazing view with convenience to town.

We absolutely loved this property. The pictures of the view do not do it justice. We stayed in November after most of the leaves had dropped. The view alone made this spot memorable, the complimentary candy made it even better :) You can't get much better for a fabulous view while still being so close to town. The mountain can be tricky in rough weather, we had dense fog conditions, but you are practically sitting above Boone. The property was clean, neat, and well maintained. Excellent communication with the owner throughout. 5 out of 5 for sure.

Pictures not totally accurate

The property and hosts were both top notch. Clean, well equipped, nicely appointed and the Hosts could not have been more gracious. The problem arose from a picture we saw on the VRBO listing. The living showed a "recliner sofa and recliner chair". We chose this cabin mainly because of the easy access AND those recliners. We are both elderly with back issues etc. and we're use to having recliners at home to use w/heating pads. We were very, very disappointed that when we arrived at this cabin we immediately noticed that the two recliners shown on the VRBO listing were not in the cabin. Instead there was a very soft, cushiony leather sofa and a small side chair. Neither were comfortable for us. We contacted the host and she was very sorry and said there may be a reclining chair on the deck - but there wasn't. We had to spend our 6 days of vacation in uncomfortable dining room table straight chairs when we "relaxed" from our day trips. Again we were very, very disappointed and actually miserable at times!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Bueatiful view of the mountains. Bed was comfortable, everything we needed for a comfortable stay was available. I would highly recommend this property for a quiet comfortable vacation.

Our oldest daughter went to ASU and we fell in love with Boone. We purchased the property and have been enjoying it with our children and grandchildren ever since. Unfortunately, we cannot make it to the house as much as we would like to, so we have decided to share it with others who have fell in love with Boone.
