Great place for a couple during the July 2026 heatwave. Very nice mountain Chalet with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. Very clean Location was central to downtowns Blowing Rock, Boone and Banner Elk. Would definitely stay again. Thanks Brandi for the hospitality!

We had a wonderful stay! Brandi was an excellent host, responsive, and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. The location was perfect, with convenient access to everything we wanted to do. The house was beautiful, very clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We truly felt at home and would absolutely stay here again. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We had a great trip at the property. It was at an awesome location. Super clean and updated. We cooked a few times and it had everything we needed. If we are ever back in the area, we will check availability here first bc we would love to stay again. If I had any questions, I heard back from the host within minutes.

The Chalet was perfect for my husband and I. It was in a great location. Close to all the hiking attractions and restaurants. It was very quiet. We spent all day exploring and it was nice to come back to a cozy cottage, where we could relax.

This was our 2nd time staying at Lil Den Chalet. We obviously love and enjoy it. It feels like you're staying in a treehouse—there's a gorgeous tree canopy, birds, and night creatures that sing you to sleep. I especially appreciate its charm, coziness, connection to nature, privacy, beautiful surroundings, and central location (close to Banner Elk, Boone, Blowing Rock, Grandfather Mtn, Blue Ridge Pkwy). We both played and worked remotely while staying here. The wi-fi is solid, and the downstairs space made for a nice, self-contained office area. We highly recommend this property! Our interaction with our host, Brandi, was great: informative, responsive, and service-forward.

We had a lovely stay! The home was the perfect location- close to everything you wanted to be able to do and see. The holiday touches around the home were adorable as well. House was comfortable and the perfect spot to get away for thanksgiving!

Such a cute chalet! Loved the decorations and style. Loved the little downstairs area too, even though we didn’t need to use it. Maybe next time we’ll bring our kids. Upstairs was the perfect size for our Anniversary getaway. Just wish we had time to stay longer. Thanks for the hospitality, Brandi!

We had a very relaxing stay. The chalet was perfect for two people. It was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the deck and the swing overlooking the beautiful western NC mountains. Communication with the host was great.
We loved being surrounded by the trees.
Perfect place for a cup of coffee!
Picture perfect view.
The fall trees were beautiful around the chalet.

Brandi is by far the best host I’ve ever had. She was incredibly accommodating and responsive. We had a WiFi issue and she handled it immediately. We loved our time here and will be back!

Great view, really nice deck, kitchen had everything we needed. The tvs were preloaded with apps, the Internet worked. The separation between the top and bottom floors was nice with teenagers. The wall heaters kept everything cozy. 5 stars.

We really enjoyed sitting on the front deck with a cup of coffee in the mornings. Very quiet and peaceful. Inside area was clean and organized. Furnishings and the various needed kitchen items were good. Wi Fi connection was excellent. The information book was very helpful. The air conditioning unit is in the bedroom, which was a little noisy for sleeping. There were a couple of window shades that did not work ... may need to be replaced. The outside deck area was kind of dirty. We did not use the lower area. Overall, this is a good spot for two people. Thanks to the hosts for being readily available for questions.

Awesome place!

Loved, loved, loved staying here. Extremely clean and updated! Communication was easy. I was worried that the only place it had air conditioning was the bedroom, but you totally didn’t need it. It was so nice and cool. Can’t wait to go back.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our two nights in this lovely little cabin. Very quiet neighborhood, beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable bed, and well stocked kitchen. Hopefully we will return in the future.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

We chose to buy our cozy chalet in Mill Ridge because of its inviting vibes and the beautiful view we have of our town, Foscoe. We enjoy the hiking trail, pool and tennis courts in the warmer months. In the winter, we have an easy drive to Sugar and Beech Mountain or The Hawks Nest for all winter sports. We hope you love our neighborhood as much as we do!

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

We have a completely private, 220 sq ft basement efficiency with a sperate entrance. There is no way to access this room from our first floor.
You must use the outdoor staircase that leads to the basement to enter this room. This efficiency is great if you have older children, close friends or family members you are traveling with that may want a little extra privacy.
