Everything was great. Beach access, pet-friendly, host responded to questions I had within 5 minutes, if not sooner. Would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely perfect rental: Beautiful maintained and the hosts were exceptional. Very dog friendly and we’ll definitely be back!

This is our second time staying at this cottage & it won’t be our last! We returned because; as dog owners; a fenced in yard is such a luxury for vacation! Slaughter Beach is the perfect quiet little beach for us & our dogs to get away for a while. Nora was great to deal with, when we contacted her about moving our stay up a day to avoid the hurricane coming up the coast; she answered us within a few hours that it was all arranged. We can’t wait to get back!

Quiet, clean and comfortable. Couldn't think of anything else that I would have wanted or needed.Great views with a fenced yard.I loved finding all the mermaids...even down to the handle on the toilet.🧜

Clean and organized property. Pet friendly with two fenced in yards. Child friendly with lovely mermaids, child picnic table and chairs, toys. Functional kitchen amenities, utensils, microwave, toaster, grill, coffee maker. Lovely being on the beach with fire making options.

The location and house were amazing! Short walk from the back door right to the water! Fenced in yard was fantastic for our dogs!

My friends and I had a great stay at the Mermaid Cottage. It had everything we needed for a weekend away, like a fully stocked kitchen and beach supplies. Quick and easy access to the beach, definitely bring bug spray and water shoes! The only issue we encountered was in one of the bedrooms none of the lights worked, not a huge deal and not important enough to us to reach out to the host. We would stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay, the highlights for us were the fenced yards, the wonderful porch, and short walk to the beach. Essentially it's a private beach, quiet. Had to deal with jelly fish in the water. Our dogs absolutely loved the yards to run around in, they got very used to the routine! The mermaid cottage was cute, wonderful, comfortable and amazed at all of the mermaid themed items, even mermaid knobs on the kitchen cabinets. Lots of care went into this cottage. Only 1 suggestion, a larger bed in one of the bedrooms would be great. Definitely would return!

Our 2nd trip here, perfect little cottage on the beach with fencing for our pups. Very comfortable and well maintained. Love the location and proximity to the quiet beach. Thanks for a great trip!

check in was easy and the house was amazingly clean the dog fence was perfect and safe. Beach is right past the fence and felt private with no one around. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing vacation this is perfect.

Great place to stay!

We were in the area to visit family and always enjoy the Slaughter Beach for its quiet natural beauty. The Mermaid Cottage was clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

Nice private spot

Great little 5 day vacation with my lady and our dogs. Perfect walk to the beach and easy trips to Rehoboth, Lewes and other spots.

Restful and relaxing

Slaughter Beach is private, quiet, clean, dog friendly and so much more. The Mermaid Cottage was perfect for enjoying everything the area has to offer. We hope to return for many more vacation experiences!
