This was our second time staying at this home. Our family loves it especially the big yard. They ride their bikes to town and to the beach, it’s wonderful. The weather didn’t cooperate, the smoke from the Canadian fires was awful and it was very hot but we made the best of it and had a wonderful time.

The house overall served our group fine, but future guests should be aware of a few key details before booking.We reserved this stay nearly a year in advance. Prior to making our final payment, we asked to shorten our 4-night stay by one night; however, we were denied, citing an unlisted holiday weekend minimum stay requirement. Because the original deadline for a full refund had passed, we were unable to modify or cancel the reservation without losing a significant portion of our deposit, leaving us to pay for a night we did not use.We wish this policy had been clearly stated under the listing's policies so we could have been aware of it upfront. Just be completely certain of your dates well before the initial cancellation deadline.

Thank you for staying at our property. I attempted to reach out to discuss your options, but I did not receive a response. Because your stay fell on a busy holiday weekend in our town, your reservation was past the Vrbo cancellation deadline. However, I still offered to allow a cancellation and commit to refunding you if the property was rebooked. While I understand your frustration, I do not believe a negative review is fair given that the home in downtown Harbor Springs is kept immaculate and the issue stemmed from requirements that could not be met after booking.

We come to Harbor Springs every year for our family ski trip to Boyne Highlands and Nubs Knob. Both are very close to the house. The house is beautiful and was very clean/organized. We had no problem locating anything we needed during our stay. The check in was seamless and communication with Liz was prompt and very helpful. We would definitely stay again. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Perfect Harbor Springs rental

This home was perfect for our family vacation. It had plenty of room for the 10 of us. The location was great, we walked into town daily. The home provided everything we needed and more. We would love to come back in the future!

Ski Trip

Excellent location. Walkable to downtown Harbor Springs. 8 min from Boyne Highlands. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate for those that went skiing. However, all did have an enjoyable in the Vrbo.

Great home -- wonderful location,

Four friends from grammar schools days stayed at this lovely home to celebrate their 80th birthday year together. Lovely private accommodations for each couple and a great downtown location, walkable to everything. Although there were a few things not in working order, Liz was very responsive and had the repair man out to the house within hours. A day on nearby Mackinac Island and great early fall weather made our stay just perfect. Thank you!

Great location and plenty of space

The home is in a great location, just a couple blocks from the downtown shops and restaurants of Harbor Springs. Being so close, it allowed us to be together, but also do our own thing at our own pace. The description online doesn't highlight how great the layout of the home is. It has a first floor master with full bathroom, bedroom and full bathroom in the basement, and three bedrooms upstairs (one is another master with full bathroom and the other two rooms are Jack & Jill sharing a full bathroom). Lots of space and privacy for guests. Lastly, the property manager was wonderful to work with and responded to any questions very quickly.
